囊发，发于阴囊之上，乃足厥阴之所属也。其病亦酷，因心胜阴亏，湿气下流，故生斯毒，用青荷叶包之，
或紫苏叶洗净去毛包之。若无，以油单纸，将儿茶水煮过包之。亦可内服十三味流气败毒饮，外上敷药。
十三味流气败毒饮
泽泻、川芎、赤芍、苏叶、甘草、麦冬、香附、白术、茯苓、青皮、防风、柴胡、羌活。
空心服。
三味敷方
海螵蛸、儿茶、蛤粉。
共为末，干敷，或生肌散亦可。
二味敷方
干荷叶、干苏叶。
焙干，等分为末，酒调浓涂肉上亦可，外以油纸包之效。
蛇头疔生于大指之上，三、四指亦生，因五脏热邪蕴积，故外发于六经起指之端，宜泻六经热毒，须服连翘
泄毒汤，外用敷药。初觉以独脚莲煎水洗之可消，既溃不用。
十三味连翘泻毒汤
连翘、青黛、木香、羌活、桂枝、黄连、麦冬、甘草、五味子、薄荷、白芷、防风、紫苏。
空心服。
敷药
敷药用猪胆调雄黄搽。
蛇头疮作痛连心，日夜呻吟不得宁。
猪胆雄黄筒指上，痛苦熬煎自觉轻。
天蛇头毒生于中指头，乃心经积热，邪毒攻指，初觉以芋禾
煎水洗五、六次之间，用芋头禾竿焙干研末搽。内服十一味托里流气饮。
十一味托里流气饮
人参、肉桂（去皮，少用）、白芷、当归、连翘、黄 、防风、川芎、白芍、浓朴、木香。
一味敷方
久雨后，篱笆下粪草上所生小菰，其色似水红，形似古竹簪，连根焙干为末，无论已溃未溃，如疮口干，用
麻油调搽，湿用干末敷上神效。
囊发，生于阴囊之上，属于足厥阴肝经的病变。此病病情严重，因心火亢盛而肾阴亏虚，湿气下注所致，故产生这种毒疮。可用青荷叶包裹患处，或用紫苏叶洗净去毛后包裹。如果没有这些，可用油单纸将儿茶煮过后包裹患处。也可以内服十三味流气败毒饮，并外敷药物。
十三味流气败毒饮
泽泻、川芎、赤芍、苏叶、甘草、麦冬、香附、白术、茯苓、青皮、防风、柴胡、羌活。

海螵蛸、儿茶、蛤粉。
共研为细末，干敷患处，或使用生肌散也可以。
二味敷方
干荷叶、干苏叶。
焙干后，等分为细末，用酒调成浓稠状涂于患处亦可，外用油纸包裹效果更佳。
蛇头疔生于大指（拇指）上，三四指也会发生，因五脏热邪蕴结积聚，故向外发于六经起始的手指末端，应当清泻六经的热毒，必须服用连翘泄毒汤，并外用敷药。初起时感觉不适，可用独脚莲煎水清洗患处以消散；一旦溃破则不再使用此法。
十三味连翘泄毒汤
连翘、青黛、木香、羌活、桂枝、黄连、麦冬、甘草、五味子、薄荷、白芷、防风、紫苏。
空腹服用。

猪胆雄黄筒指上，痛苦熬煎自觉轻。
天蛇头毒生于中指指尖，乃心经积热，邪毒攻冲手指所致。初起时可用芋头禾秆煎水清洗五到六次，然后用芋头禾秆焙干研末涂抹。内服十一味托里流气饮。
十一味托里流气饮
人参、肉桂（去皮，少量使用）、白芷、当归、连翘、黄芩、防风、川芎、白芍、厚朴、木香。

久雨之后，篱笆下粪草上所生的小菰（一种菌类），其颜色似水红，形状似古竹簪，连根焙干研为细末。无论疮口已溃或未溃，若疮口干涸，用麻油调匀涂抹；若潮湿，用干末敷上，神效。
Nang Fa (Scrotal Abscess) arises on the scrotum and belongs to the Foot Jueyin Liver Meridian. The condition is severe, caused by excessive Heart Fire and deficient Kidney Yin, with Dampness flowing downward, thus generating this toxic sore. It can be treated by wrapping the area with fresh green lotus leaves, or with perilla leaves that have been washed and de-hairyed. If unavailable, use oil-coated paper boiled with Terminalia chebula Retz. Fruit (Ella Fructus) to wrap the lesion. Internally, Shisanwei Liqi Baidu Yin (Thirteen-Ingredient Qi-Regulating and Toxin-Resolving Decoction) may be taken, along with external application of medicaments.

Alisma Rhizoma (Zexie), Ligusticum Chuanxiong Hort. Rhizome (Chuanxiong), Paeonia Rubra L. Root (Chishao), Perilla Leaf (Suye), Licorice Root (Gancao), Ophiopogon Tuber (Maidong), Cyperus Rhizome (Xiangfu), Atractylodes Macrocephala Koidz. Rhizome (Baizhu), Poria (Fuling), Tangerine Peel (Qingpi), Saposhnikovia Root (Fangfeng), Bupleurum Root (Chaihu), Notopterygium Rhizome et Radix (Qianghuo).
Take on an empty stomach.
Sanwei Fufang (Three-Ingredient External Powder)
Cuttlebone (Haipiaoxiao), Terminalia chebula Retz. Fruit (Ercha), Concha Tridacnidae (Gafen).
Grind into powder together, apply dryly to the lesion, or use Shengji San (Tissue-Regenerating Powder) as an alternative.
Erwei Fufang (Two-Ingredient External Powder)
Dried Lotus Leaf (Gan Heye), Dried Perilla Leaf (Gan Suye).
Roast until dry, grind into equal parts of fine powder, mix with wine to form a thick paste for application on the flesh, and cover externally with oil paper for efficacy.
She Tou Ding (Snake-Head Carbuncle) occurs on the thumb, and also on the second and third fingers. It results from the accumulation of Heat-Evil in the Five Zang Organs, manifesting externally at the tips of the fingers where the Six Channels begin. Treatment requires purging Heat-Toxin from the Six Channels; one must administer Lianqiao Xiedu Tang (Forsythia Toxin-Expelling Decoction) internally and apply external medicaments. At the initial stage, washing with decoction of Eleutherine bulbosa (Du Jiao Lian) can resolve it; this method is not used after ulceration.

Forsythiae Fructum (Lianqiao), Indigo Naturalis (Qingdai), Aucklandiae Radix (Muxiang), Notopterygium Rhizome et Radix (Qianghuo), Cinnamon Twig (Guizhi), Coptis Rhizome (Huanglian), Ophiopogon Tuber (Maidong), Licorice Root (Gancao), Schisandrae Fructum (Wuweizi), Mint Herb (Bohe), Angelica Dahurica Root (Baizhi), Saposhnikovia Root (Fangfeng), Perilla Leaf (Zisu).
Take on an empty stomach.
External Application
Mix Realgar (Xionghuang) with Pig Gallbladder Juice (Zhudan) for application.
The pain of She Tou Chuang (Snake-Head Sore) radiates to the heart, causing groaning day and night without relief.
Pig gallbladder and realgar applied to the finger bring relief from tormenting pain.
Tian She Tou Du (Heavenly Snake-Head Toxicity) arises at the tip of the middle finger, caused by accumulated Heat in the Heart Channel and Evil-Toxin attacking the finger. Initially, wash the area five to six times with decoction of Imperata cylindrica (Rhizoma) stalks (Yu He), then apply powder made from roasted and ground Imperata cylindrica stalks. Internally, take Shi Yiwei Tuoli Liuqi Yin (Eleven-Ingredient Interior-Supporting and Qi-Regulating Decoction).

Ginseng Radix (Renshen), Cinnamon Bark (Rougui - peeled, used in small amounts), Angelica Dahurica Root (Baizhi), Angelica Sinensis Radix (Danggui), Forsythiae Fructum (Lianqiao), Scutellaria Baicalensis Georgi Root (Huangqin), Saposhnikovia Root (Fangfeng), Ligusticum Chuanxiong Hort. Rhizome (Chuanxiong), White Peony Root (Baishao), Magnolia Officinalis Bark (N Houpo), Aucklandiae Radix (Muxiang).
Yiwei Fufang (One-Ingredient External Powder)
Small mushrooms growing under fences on manure grass after prolonged rain, resembling water-red color and ancient bamboo hairpin shape in form. Roast the whole plant including roots until dry, grind into powder. Whether the sore is ulcerated or not: if the sore mouth is dry, mix with Sesame Oil (Mayou) for application; if damp, apply the dry powder directly. This yields miraculous effects.
