Experienced wonderful methods for treating Dan, now told to future generations: First cleanse the body with effective agents, then apply moisturizing/topical treatments after purgation. Crush river snails into a paste for application, or mix Zaoxin Tu with water. Also use Nanxing (Rhizoma Arisaematis) and Dahuang, mix Mangxiao (Natrii Sulfas) evenly and soak in water.
Apply heated clothing to the infant, leading to Huo Dan (Fire Dan). Mangxiao (Natrii Sulfas), Hanshui Shi (Aqua Calcitae), Qingdai (Indigo Naturalis), and Shigao (Gypsum Fibrosum) are miraculous.
