上锉散，每服四钱，水一盏半煎，空心服。小便利为效。
治肠痈小腹肿痞，按之即痛如淋，小便自调，时时发热，自汗出，复恶寒。其脉迟
脓未成，可下之，当有血；洪数者，脓已成，不可下。
大黄（蒸） 桃仁（去皮尖。各半两） 牡丹皮（一钱一字） 栝蒌子（三分） 芒硝

上锉散，作一服。水三盏，煎八分，去滓，入芒硝再煎沸，顿服，不拘时候。未效，用
败毒

治疗肺痈脓血已排尽，不再咳嗽疼痛，服用此方可以祛除旧邪、生成新血，内能巩固元气。（方剂见前文。）
肺痈的证候，在萌芽阶段容易治疗，脓液形成后难以治疗。诊察其脉象数而有力，说明脓已成；脉象微而涩，说明病情逐渐好转；面色苍白，呕吐脓血后停止的，会自愈。
灸法：治疗肺痈发作时，吐脓血不止，灸肺俞穴十四壮，位置在第二椎下第三椎上，各距离脊柱一寸半。以及灸……

Treat intestinal abscess presenting with swelling and distension in the lower abdomen, pain upon pressure resembling strangury, normal urination, intermittent fever, spontaneous sweating, and aversion to cold. If the pulse is slow, pus has not yet formed; purgation may be used, and blood may be passed. If the pulse is surging and rapid, pus has formed; purgation is contraindicated.
