上为细末，炼蜜为丸，如鸡头大，每服一丸，心新绵裹，噙咽津。
治缠喉风，急喉痹。
白矾（三钱） 巴豆（三枚，去壳，分作六瓣）
上将白矾及巴豆于铫内，慢火熬化为水，候干，去巴取矾，研为细末，每用少许，以芦
管吹入喉中。

龙脑（半字） 硼砂（一钱） 朱砂（二钱） 马牙硝（半钱） 寒水石（二钱）
上各研和匀，每用一字，掺于舌上，用津咽之，食后临卧。

Babaozi (Arctii Fructus), Xuanshen (Scrophulariae Radix), Shengma (Cimicifugae Rhizoma), Jiegeng (Platycodonis Radix, remove rhizome), Xijiao (Rhinocerotis Cornu), Mutong (Akebiae Caulis, remove nodes), Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) [each in equal parts].
Crush the herbs. For each dose, take four qian, add one and a half zhan of water and three slices of ginger, decoct until reduced to eight fen, strain, and take warm at any time.
Treats heat swelling of the throat, loss of voice, and sensation of an object blocking the throat.
Jingjiesui (Schizonepetae Spica), Jiegeng (Platycodonis Radix, remove rhizome) [each one liang], Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, raw use, half liang).
Crush the herbs. For each dose, take four qian, add one and a half zhan of water and three slices of ginger, decoct until reduced to eight fen, strain, and take warm at any time.
Treats Chanhoufeng (Entangling Throat Wind) and Ji Houbi (Acute Throat Bi Syndrome).
Yazui Danfan (Duck-bill Alum), Bai Jiangcan (Bombyx Batryticatus, remove silk mouth) [half liang].
Grind into fine powder. Take a small amount for each dose, blow into the throat using a bamboo tube, with immediate effect.
Treats Xuan Yong (Suspension Obstruction) swelling and pain.
Pengsha (Borax, grind separately), Mayaxiao (Natrii Sulfas, calcined), Huashi (Talcum), Hanshuishi (Nardi Hydrocarbonas) [each two qian above], Naobing (Borneolum Syntheticum, grind separately), Baifan (Alumen, calcined, one and a half qian).
Grind all herbs into extremely fine powder. Take half a qian for each dose, mix with fresh drawn water, swallow at any time.
Treats Fu Han (Visceral Cold) causing throat closure and inability to swallow.
Shegan (Belamcandae Rhizoma), Xingren (Pruni Semen, stir-fried with bran until yellow), Xuanshen (Scrophulariae Radix), Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata, roasted, remove skin and root eye), Guixin (Cinnamomi Cortex, do not expose to fire) [each in equal parts].
Grind into fine powder, make pills with refined honey, size of a chicken head. Take one pill per dose, wrap in new cotton, hold in mouth and swallow saliva.
Treats Chanhoufeng (Entangling Throat Wind) and Ji Houbi (Acute Throat Bi Syndrome).
Baifan (Alumen, three qian), Badou (Crotonis Fructus, three seeds, remove shell, divide into six pieces).
Place Baifan and Badou in a ding (small cauldron), slowly boil over low heat until liquid, wait until dry, discard Badou, keep Baifan, grind into fine powder. Use a small amount for each dose, blow into the throat using a reed tube.
Treats throat swelling and pain, obstruction when swallowing, and sores on mouth and tongue.
Longnao (Borneolum Syntheticum, half zi), Pengsha (Borax, one qian), Zhusha (Cinnabar, two qian), Mayaxiao (Natrii Sulfas, half qian), Hanshuishi (Nardi Hydrocarbonas, two qian).
Grind each herb separately and mix evenly. Use one zi for each dose, sprinkle on the tongue, swallow with saliva, after meals and before bedtime.
