上和捣，以大针刺作孔。复削芜菁根如针大，前铁生衣涂上刺孔中，又涂所捣者封上，

治丁肿，灸掌后横纹五指，男左女右，七壮即瘥，已用得效。丁肿灸法虽多，然此一
法甚验，出于意表也。

油（一两） 黄蜡（半两） 轻粉（半字） 雄黄（别研，三钱）
上先用皂角、全蝎、巴豆煎油变色，去了三味，入黄蜡化开，取出冷处，入雄黄、蛇床
末、

Grind them together thoroughly. Puncture the affected area with a large needle to create a hole. Then, shave a piece of turnip root to the thickness of a needle, apply the aforementioned iron rust into the punctured hole, and seal the surface with the ground mixture.

To treat Ding swelling (malignant furuncle edema), moxa the area five finger-widths from the distal palmar crease. For males, use the left hand; for females, the right hand. Apply seven moxa cones (Zhuang) for cure. This method has been verified effective. Although there are many moxibustion methods for Ding swelling, this one is remarkably efficacious, surpassing expectations.
