[Folk Remedies]
Flex the fingers. Dip the second phalangeal joints of the index and middle fingers in water. Pinch-tap the skin of the patient's Yintang (EX-HN3) acupoint, as well as the bilateral neck and paravertebral regions of the back, until purplish-red spots appear subcutaneously. Puncture slightly with a sharp object to induce minor bleeding.
Upon discovering a patient with carbon monoxide poisoning, immediately transfer the patient to an area with fresh air and pay attention to keeping warm. I. Stroke
Patients usually have insufficient healthy Qi (Vital Energy), imbalance of Yin and Yang in the Zang-Fu organs, Yin deficiency of the Liver and Kidney, and Hyperactivity of Liver Yang; or emotional depression, irregular diet leading to impaired transport and transformation of the Liver, resulting in accumulation of Phlegm-Heat. If Blood follows rebellious Qi, Wind-Phlegm disturbs upwards, rushing to the brain, sudden coma occurs, which is Evil invading the Zang-Fu organs; if Wind-Phlegm wanders through the collaterals, causing dysfunction of Qi and Blood circulation, facial deviation and hemiplegia occur, which is Evil invading the meridians. Deficiency is tonified, Excess is drained.

Headache is a subjective symptom caused by external invasion of Wind-Cold, where pathogenic factors attack upwards, Cold congeals blood vessels, and meridians are blocked; or invasion of Wind-Heat, where pathogenic factors disturb upwards; or external invasion of Dampness, where pathogenic factors invade upwards; or violent anger injuring the Liver, causing Liver Qi stagnation and transformation into Fire, disturbing clear orifices upwards; or dietary fatigue damaging Spleen Qi, leading to insufficiency of Spleen Qi, inability to generate Qi and Blood, resulting in Qi and Blood deficiency, and lack of nourishment to the Brain Mansion. Additionally, head trauma causing Blood Stasis in the meridians can also cause disease. Those with deficiency combine medication; Excess patterns mainly drain Qi and Blood.

III. Stomachache
Stomachache refers to epigastric pain. Since the pain is near the heart pit, it is colloquially called heart pit pain. This pain is mostly caused by melancholy and anger injuring the Liver, causing Liver Qi stagnation, rebelling horizontally to invade the Stomach, blocking Qi mechanism; or long-term Qi stagnation causing blood vessel condensation and internal Blood Stasis; or Spleen and Stomach weakness, insufficient Yang Qi, sinking of Middle Qi, generating internal Deficiency-Cold, Cold congealing blood vessels, and meridian blockage. Additionally, apply "Haima Zhuifeng Plaster" mixed with external powder. One month later, the patient wrote stating recovery.
V. Chest Pain
This disease is divided into External Invasion Chest Pain and Internal Injury Chest Pain. External Invasion Chest Pain is mostly caused by Damp-Heat invading the Lung; Internal Injury Chest Pain is mostly caused by Cold-Phlegm congestion, accumulation of fluid retention in the chest and hypochondrium, insufficient Heart Yang, or Blood Stasis obstructing the Heart; some are also caused by Liver Fire attacking upwards. Deficiency regulates Qi and broadens the chest, Excess drains Blood and unblocks collaterals.

After 3 treatments, chest pain disappeared.
The Liver Meridian distributes across the hypochondrium. Emotional depression causes Liver Qi to lose its free flow, collaterals are blocked, and meridian Qi circulation is unsmooth, thus the disease often presents as hypochondriac pain; there are also cases due to depletion of meridian blood, insufficient blood failing to nourish Liver collaterals; or due to sprains causing collateral stasis, all of which can lead to hypochondriac pain. Deficiency combines medication, Excess drains Blood and tonifies Qi.

VII. Abdominal Pain
Abdominal pain is mostly caused by violent anger injuring the Liver, Liver Qi depression, causing Qi mechanism blockage in the abdomen; or excessive eating of raw and cold foods, Cold Evil stopping internally, contracting meridians; or Spleen Yang not rising, Cold generating internally, condensing blood vessels; or irregular diet causing Food Stagnation in the Middle Jiao, unfavorable Qi mechanism, etc. It can also be caused by parasite accumulation. Additionally, apply medicated plaster, take 3 doses of medicine. Cured after 2 treatments.
VIII. Bi Syndrome
Bi Syndrome is mostly formed due to inherent constitutional deficiency, insecure Wei Defensive Qi, loose pores, sweating exposed to wind, wading in water and contracting cold, lying on damp ground for a long time, etc. Wind-Cold-Damp pathogens invade joints and meridians, obstructing blood vessels, causing poor circulation of Qi and Blood, forming Wind-Cold-Damp Bi. There are cases where meridians first have accumulated Heat, then encounter Wind-Cold-Damp invasion, interior Heat is constrained by exterior pathogens, losing Qi and Blood circulation; or Wind-Cold-Damp pathogens stay in skin and collaterals without leaving, transforming into Heat. Xing Bi (Wandering Bi) and Zhuo Bi (Fixed Bi) mainly use Qi release to eliminate Cold-Damp; Tong Bi (Painful Bi) and Re Bi (Hot Bi) mainly use pricking to stop pain and drain Heat.
