治耳湿肿痛。
大黄（酒炒） 黄芩（酒浸） 防风 荆芥 羌活 朴硝 甘草（各二两） 连翘（四
两） 栀子仁 薄荷（各一两）
上锉，加竹叶、蜜少许，水煎服。
治头目不清，耳聋重听，风气壅上，或内作痒，或耳内烘烘者，皆治。
僵蚕（炒，去丝嘴） 干菊花（各一两） 荆芥穗 羌活 木通 川芎 香附 防风 薄
荷石菖蒲 甘草
上为末，每服三钱，食后茶清调服。
治痰火上攻，耳聋耳鸣。
半夏 陈皮 茯苓 甘草（炙） 蓄 瞿麦 木通 黄柏（酒炒，各一钱）水二钟，
空心，临卧各进一服。
治耳聋耳鸣。
陈皮（七分） 香附（童便炒，一钱半） 菖蒲（去毛，二钱） 木香（五分） 黄连
（酒浸猪胆拌炒，一钱半） 黄芩（酒炒，钱半） 栀子（炒，二钱） 玄参（酒洗，二钱）
黄柏（酒炒，二钱） 槟榔（一钱） 白术（米泔浸，盐水拌炒，一钱） 苍术（米泔浸炒，
一钱） 生地（姜汁浸，一钱） 川芎（八分） 贝母（三钱） 甘草（五分）
上为末，姜汁糊丸梧子大。每五十丸温水下。

半夏 陈皮 茯苓 甘草（炙烤） 蓄草 瞿麦 木通 黄柏（用酒炒制，各一钱） 水两钟，空腹时及临睡前各服用一次。
治疗耳聋耳鸣。
陈皮（七分） 香附（用童子尿炒制，一钱半） 菖蒲（去毛，二钱） 木香（五分） 黄连（用酒浸泡并与猪胆汁拌炒，一钱半） 黄芩（用酒炒制，一钱半） 栀子（炒制，二钱） 玄参（用酒洗，二钱） 黄柏（用酒炒制，二钱） 槟榔（一钱） 白术（用米泔水浸泡，盐水拌炒，一钱） 苍术（用米泔水浸泡炒制，一钱） 生地（用姜汁浸泡，一钱） 川芎（八分） 贝母（三钱） 甘草（五分）
以上药材研为细末，用姜汁制成糊状丸药，大小如梧桐子。每次服用五十丸，用温水送下。
Adding Shichangpu (Rhizoma Acori Tatarinowii) treats heart pain. The formula is found in the "Cold Gate" section.
For treating deafness, one should resolve depression and promote Qi circulation; Tongsheng San (Universal Salvation Powder) is very suitable for consumption.
Treating ear dampness causing swelling and pain.
Dahuang (Rhubarb Rhizome, stir-fried with wine), Huangqin (Scutellaria Root, soaked in wine), Fangfeng (Saposhnikovia Root), Jingjie (Schizonepeta Spike), Qianghuo (Notopterygium Rhizome), Puxiao (Mirabilite), Gancao (Licorice Root, each two liang), Lianqiao (Forsythia Fruit, four liang), Zhizi Ren (Gardenia Seed), Bohe (Mint Herb, each one liang).
The above herbs are coarsely crushed, add a small amount of Zhuye (Bamboo Leaf) and honey, decoct with water and take orally.
Treating unclear head and eyes, deafness with heavy hearing, wind-qi stagnation rising upward, or internal itching, or roaring sounds in the ears; all are treated.
Jiangcan (Stiff Silkworm, stir-fried, remove silk mouth and feet), Gan Juhua (Dried Chrysanthemum Flower, each one liang), Jingjie Sui (Schizonepeta Spike tip), Qianghuo (Notopterygium Rhizome), Mutong (Akebia Stem), Chuanxiong (Ligusticum Rhizome), Xiangfu (Cyperus Rhizome), Fangfeng (Saposhnikovia Root), Bohe (Mint Herb), Shichangpu (Rhizoma Acori Tatarinowii), Gancao (Licorice Root).
The above herbs are ground into powder. Take three qian per dose, mixed with clear tea after meals.
Treating deafness and tinnitus caused by Phlegm-Fire attacking upwards.
Banxia (Pinellia Tuber), Chenpi (Aged Tangerine Peel), Fuling (Poria), Gancao (Licorice Root, honey-fried), Xuliu (Polygonum Aviculare), Qumai (Dianthus Herb), Mutong (Akebia Stem), Huangbai (Phellodendron Bark, stir-fried with wine, each one qian). Use two zhong of water, take one dose on an empty stomach and one dose before bed.
Treating deafness and tinnitus.
Chenpi (Aged Tangerine Peel, seven fen), Xiangfu (Cyperus Rhizome, stir-fried with urine of young boy, one qian half), Changpu (Rhizoma Acori Tatarinowii, remove hairs, two qian), Muxiang (Vladimiria Root, five fen), Huanglian (Coptis Rhizome, soaked in wine and stir-fried with pig bile, one qian half), Huangqin (Scutellaria Root, stir-fried with wine, one qian half), Zhizi (Gardenia Fruit, stir-fried, two qian), Xuanshen (Scrophularia Root, washed with wine, two qian), Huangbai (Phellodendron Bark, stir-fried with wine, two qian), Binglang (Areca Seed, one qian), Baizhu (Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome, soaked in rice wash water, stir-fried with salt water, one qian), Cangzhu (Atractylodes Lancea Rhizome, soaked in rice wash water and stir-fried, one qian), Shengdi (Rehmannia Root, soaked in ginger juice, one qian), Chuanxiong (Ligusticum Rhizome, eight fen), Beimu (Fritillaria Bulb, three qian), Gancao (Licorice Root, five fen).
The above herbs are ground into powder, made into pills the size of wutong seeds using ginger juice paste. Take fifty pills at a time, swallowed with warm water.
Chaihu (Bupleurum Root), Shigao (Gypsum Fibrosum), Zhimu (Anemarrhena Rhizome), Huangqin (Scutellaria Root), Shengdi (Rehmannia Root), Chuanxiong (Ligusticum Rhizome), Nanxing (Arisaema Cum Bile), Huangbai (Phellodendron Bark), Jiegeng (Platycodon Root), Gancao (Licorice Root), Shaoyao (Peony Root), Zhike (Bitter Orange Fruit), Qianhu (Peucedani Radix).
Add three slices of Jiang (Fresh Ginger), decoct with water and take orally.
