(Cold pathogen lodging in Ying and Wei causes aversion to cold; although the body is hot, there is no desire to remove clothes and blankets; even if all interior symptoms are present, mild aversion to cold indicates the exterior is not yet resolved. One must first resolve the exterior, wait until aversion to cold ceases, before attacking the interior.)
