夫一切男子妇人，或因咳嗽一声，或因悲哭啼泣，抬舁重物，以致腰痛气刺不能
转侧，及不能出气者，可用不卧散嚏之，汗出痛止。如不食，可用通经散、导水丸，泻十
余行；泻讫，服乌金丸、和血丹，痛减则止矣。
夫小儿有赤瘤丹肿，先用牛黄通膈丸泻之；后用阳起石扫敷，则丹毒自散。如未
散，则可用 针砭刺出血而愈矣。
夫小儿疮 瘾疹，趺疮丹 等疾，如遇火运
胜时，不可便用升麻汤解之。升麻汤者，是辛温之剂。止可用辛凉之剂解之。太平之时，可
用辛温之剂发散；后便可用凉膈加当归、白虎汤、化斑汤、玉露散煎服之，甚者，解毒汤、
调胃承气汤投之。古人云∶疮疡者，首尾俱不可下。此言误人久矣。岂不闻扬汤止沸，釜底抽薪。《
内经》曰∶五寅五申岁，多发此病。此言少阳相火之岁也。少阳客气胜，丹
疮瘾疹之疾生矣。又《内经》曰∶诸痛痒疮疡，皆属于心火。由是言
之，皆明心生，不可用辛温之剂发散，以致热势转增，渐成脏毒下血，切牙搐搦，为大热之证明矣
。如白虎汤加人参、凉膈加桔梗当归，不论秋冬，但有疮 之证，便可用之。亦且疮 、瘾
疹丹 、趺疮者，是天之一气以伤人也。且如疮 瘾疹以少
为吉，以稠为凶。稀少者，不服药而自愈；稠密者，以寒凉药舍死而治之，十全其一、二。
敝家亲眷相知，信服此药，获效多矣。
凡是男子或女子，有的因为咳嗽一声，有的因为悲伤哭泣，或者搬运重物，导致腰部疼痛、气机刺痛且无法转身侧卧，甚至不能呼吸的，可以使用不卧散通过鼻腔给药（嚏法），出汗后疼痛即可停止。如果伴有食欲不振，可以使用通经散、导水丸，泻下十余次；泻下结束后，服用乌金丸、和血丹，疼痛减轻就停止用药。
小儿出现赤瘤丹肿，先用牛黄通膈丸进行泻下治疗；之后用阳起石粉末外敷，则丹毒自然消散。如果仍未消散，可以用砭针刺破皮肤放血而痊愈。
小儿患疮疡瘾疹、跌疮丹等疾病时，如果遇到火运旺盛的年份，不可以立即使用升麻汤来解表。升麻汤是辛温性质的方剂。只可用辛凉性质的方剂来解表。在太平时期，可以先用辛温方剂发散；随后就可以使用凉膈散加当归、白虎汤、化斑汤、玉露散煎服；病情严重的，投予解毒汤、调胃承气汤。古人说：“疮疡病，初起和末期都不可使用泻下法。”这种说法误导人很久了。难道没听说过“扬汤止沸，釜底抽薪”的道理吗？《内经》说：在五寅、五申之年，多发此病。这是指少阳相火司天的年份。少阳客气偏胜，就会发生丹疮、瘾疹等疾病。又《内经》说：“各种疼痛、瘙痒、疮疡，都属于心火。”由此而言，都是明心生火所致，不可使用辛温方剂发散，以免热势更加增加，逐渐演变成脏毒下血、咬牙抽搐，成为大热的证候了。如白虎汤加人参、凉膈散加桔梗当归，不论秋冬季节，只要有疮疡的证候，就可以使用。况且疮疡、瘾疹、丹毒、跌疮，是天之一气伤人所致。比如疮疡瘾疹以稀少为吉兆，以稠密为凶兆。稀少的，不服药也能自愈；稠密的，用寒凉药物救治，十人中能救活一两个。我家亲戚朋友，信服这些药物，获得疗效的很多。
For all men and women, whether due to a single cough, sorrowful weeping, or carrying heavy loads, resulting in lumbar pain with qi stabbing sensation, inability to turn the body, and even inability to breathe, Buwo San (Non-Lying Powder) can be administered via nasal insufflation (snuffing). Once sweating occurs, the pain will cease. If accompanied by loss of appetite, Tongjing San (Meridian-Unblocking Powder) and Daoshui Wan (Water-Guiding Pill) may be used to induce diarrhea more than ten times; after purgation is completed, Wuji Wan (Black Gold Pill) and Hexue Dan (Blood-Harmonizing Pellet) should be taken until the pain subsides.
In children presenting with red tumors and erysipelas-like swelling, Niuhuang Tongge Wan (Calculus Bovis Throat-Unblocking Pill) should first be used for purgation; subsequently, Yangqishi (Steleopsite) powder should be applied topically, causing the erysipelas toxin to dissipate naturally. If it does not dissipate, bloodletting via bian stone (stone lancet) puncture will lead to recovery.
When children suffer from sores, urticaria, die sores, or erysipelas, during years when the Fire phase is dominant, Shengma Tang (Cimicifugae Decoction) must not be used immediately for resolution. Shengma Tang is a pungent-warm formula. Only pungent-cool formulas should be used for resolution. In peaceful times, one may initially use pungent-warm formulas to disperse; thereafter, Liangge San (Cooling the Chest Powder) added with Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Baihu Tang (White Tiger Decoction), Huaban Tang (Spot-Transforming Decoction), and Yulu San (Jade Dew Powder) may be decocted and ingested. For severe cases, Jiedu Tang (Detoxifying Decoction) and Tiaowei Chengqi Tang (Regulating the Stomach and Guiding Out Decoction) may be administered. The ancients stated: "For sores and ulcers, purgation is contraindicated at both the beginning and the end." This statement has misled people for a long time. Have they not heard the saying, "Stirring boiling soup to stop the boil, while removing firewood from under the castry"? The *Neijing* states: "In years of Wuyin and Wushen, this disease frequently occurs." This refers to years governed by Shaoyang Xianghuo (Ministerial Fire). When Shaoyang Keqi (Guest Qi) is excessive, diseases such as erysipelas sores and urticaria arise. Furthermore, the *Neijing* states: "All pain, itching, sores, and ulcers belong to Heart Fire." From this perspective, these conditions are clearly generated by Heart Fire; therefore, pungent-warm formulas for dispersion must not be used, lest the heat intensity increase further, gradually evolving into visceral toxicity with bloody stool, teeth grinding, and convulsions, manifesting as clear signs of extreme heat. For instance, Baihu Tang added with Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma), or Liangge San added with Jiegeng (Platycodonis Radix) and Danggui, regardless of autumn or winter seasons, can be used whenever sore/ulcer symptoms are present. Moreover, sores, urticaria, erysipelas, and die sores are caused by the Qi of Heaven injuring humans. Regarding sores and urticaria, scarcity is auspicious, while density is ominous. Scarcely distributed cases may heal spontaneously without medication; densely distributed cases, treated with cold-cool medicines, have only a one or two in ten survival rate. My relatives and acquaintances, trusting and believing in these medicines, have achieved numerous effective results.
