治内外障眼
麻黄(一两) 当归身(一钱)
上二味同为粗末炒黑色入麝香乳香少许共为细末含水鼻内 之
黄柏(酒炒) 知母(酒炒以上各等分)
上为细末滴水为丸如梧桐子大每服一百丸至一百五十丸空心盐白汤下
肉桂(三分) 黄连(一钱) 姜黄(一钱五分) 苦参(三钱) 苦葶苈(酒洗炒) 石膏(觉
肚冷勿用) 黄柏(酒炒) 知母(酒炒各五钱)
上为极细末打薄面糊为丸如梧桐子大每服一百丸空心服白汤下食压之
治黑白翳
蕤仁 升麻(各三分) 连翘 防风 青皮(各四分) 甘草 柴胡(各五分) 当归身(六
分) 黄连(三钱)生地黄(一钱五分) 荆芥穗(一钱水半盏别浸用)
上用水一碗入前药煎至半碗去渣更上火煎至半盏入荆芥水两匙入蜜少许再上火熬匀点之
治疳眼流脓主疳翳湿热为病
谷精草 川郁金 蛇蜕皮 炙甘草(各五分) 升麻(二钱) 麻黄(一钱五分) 青蛤粉
草龙胆 黄芩(炒) 羌活(各三钱)
上为细末每服二钱食后温茶清调服之
治耳中干结耳鸣耳聋
连翘(四钱) 柴胡(三钱) 炙甘草 当归身 人参(各一钱) 水蛭(五分炒别研) 麝香
(少许另研) 虻虫(三个去翅足炒另研)
上除三味别研外生姜三片水二大盏煎至一盏去渣再下三味上火煎一二沸稍热服食远
治疗内障和内障眼病：
麻黄（一两）、当归身（一钱）。
以上两味药捣成粗末，炒至黑色，加入少许麝香、乳香，共同研成细末。使用时含一口水，将药粉吹入鼻中。
黄柏（酒炒）、知母（酒炒，以上各等分）。
以上药物研成细末，滴入少量水制成丸药，大小如梧桐子。每次服用一百至一百五十丸，空腹时用盐水白汤送服。
肉桂（三分）、黄连（一钱）、姜黄（一钱五分）、苦参（三钱）、苦葶苈（酒洗后炒制）、石膏（若感觉腹部发冷则勿用）、黄柏（酒炒）、知母（酒炒，各五钱）。
以上药物研成极细末，用稀薄的面糊制作成丸药，大小如梧桐子。每次服用一百丸，空腹时服用，用白开水送下，饭后服药以压住药力。
治疗黑睛和白睛上的翳膜：
蕤仁、升麻（各三分）、连翘、防风、青皮（各四分）、甘草、柴胡（各五分）、当归身（六分）、黄连（三钱）、生地黄（一钱五分）、荆芥穗（一钱，用半盏水单独浸泡）。
以上药物用水一碗，加入前述药材煎煮至半碗，滤去药渣，再次上火煎煮至半盏，加入荆芥浸泡的水两匙，再加入少许蜂蜜，再次上火熬匀，用于点眼。
治疗疳积引起的眼病，流脓，主治疳积翳，由湿热致病：
谷精草、川郁金、蛇蜕皮、炙甘草（各五分）、升麻（二钱）、麻黄（一钱五分）、青蛤粉、草龙胆、黄芩（炒制）、羌活（各三钱）。
以上药物研成细末，每次服用二钱，饭后用温茶调服。
治疗耳中干燥结块、耳鸣、耳聋：
连翘（四钱）、柴胡（三钱）、炙甘草、当归身、人参（各一钱）、水蛭（五分，炒制后单独研磨）、麝香（少许，单独研磨）、虻虫（三个，去掉翅膀和足，炒制后单独研磨）。
以上药物除这三种需单独研磨外，其余药物加生姜三片、水两大盏，煎煮至一盏，滤去药渣，再将上述三种研磨好的药粉放入，上火煮沸一二滚，稍热时服用，服药期间远离饮食。
Treatment for internal and external eye opacities:
Mahuang (Ephedrae Herba, 1 liang), Dangguishen (Radix Angelicae Sinensis, 1 qian).
The above two herbs are ground into a coarse powder, stir-fried until black, with a small amount of Moxiang (Moschus, 麝香) and Xuxiang (Boswelliae Carthartici Resina, 乳香) added, then ground together into a fine powder. For use, hold water in the mouth and insufflate the powder into the nose.
Huangbai (Phellodendri Cortex, stir-fried with wine), Zhimu (Anemarrhenae Rhizoma, stir-fried with wine, equal parts of each).
Grind the above herbs into a fine powder, add drops of water to form pills the size of wutong seeds. Take 100 to 150 pills per dose, on an empty stomach, with salted white water.
Rougui (Cinnamomi Cortex, 3 fen), Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma, 1 qian), Jianghuang (Curcumae Longae Rhizoma, 1.5 qian), Kushen (Sophorae Flavescentis Radix, 3 qian), Kutingli (Descurainiae Semen Lepidii et Lepidii Semen, washed with wine and stir-fried), Shigao (Gypsum Fibrosum, do not use if abdominal coldness is felt), Huangbai (Phellodendri Cortex, stir-fried with wine), Zhimu (Anemarrhenae Rhizoma, stir-fried with wine, 5 qian each).
Grind the above herbs into an extremely fine powder, mix with thin wheat starch paste to form pills the size of wutong seeds. Take 100 pills per dose, on an empty stomach, with plain warm water; take after meals to suppress the medicinal force.
Treatment for leukoma and corneal opacity (black and white翳):
Ruiren (Pruni Armeniacae Semen, 3 fen each with Shengma), Lianqiao (Forsythiae Fructum), Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), Qingpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Viride, 4 fen each), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), Chaihu (Bupleuri Radix, 5 fen each), Dangguishen (Radix Angelicae Sinensis, 6 fen), Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma, 3 qian), Shengdihuang (Rehmanniae Radix, 1.5 qian), Jingjiesui (Schizonepetae Spica, 1 qian, soaked separately in half zhan of water).
Add one zhan of water to the aforementioned herbs and decoct until half a zhan remains. Strain the dregs, return to heat, and decoct until half a zhan remains. Add two qian of the soaked Jingjieshui and a small amount of honey. Heat again until uniform, and apply as eye drops.
Treatment for gan eye disease with pus discharge, primarily for gan leukoma caused by damp-heat:
Gujingcao (Evodiae Fructus), Chuanyujin (Curcumae Radix), Shetuipi (Ophiopogonis Caulis/Serpent Skin - *Note: Traditional term often refers to Ophiopogon or similar, but literally snake skin*), Zhigancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, processed with honey, 5 fen each), Shengma (Cimicifugae Rhizoma, 2 qian), Mahuang (Ephedrae Herba, 1.5 qian), Qinggefen (Concha Meretricis et Cyprinis Pulvis), Caolongdan (Gentianae Macrophyllae Radix), Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix, stir-fried), Qianghuo (Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix, 3 qian each).
Grind the above herbs into a fine powder. Take 2 qian per dose, mixed with warm tea after meals.
Treatment for dry ear blockage, tinnitus, and deafness:
Lianqiao (Forsythiae Fructum, 4 qian), Chaihu (Bupleuri Radix, 3 qian), Zhigancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, processed with honey), Dangguishen (Radix Angelicae Sinensis), Renshen (Ginseng Radix, 1 qian each), Shuizhi (Hirudo, 5 fen, stir-fried and ground separately), Moxiang (Moschus, a small amount, ground separately), Mengchong (Tabanidae Insect, three pieces, wings and legs removed, stir-fried and ground separately).
Except for the three herbs mentioned above which are ground separately, add three slices of fresh ginger and two large zhan of water to the remaining herbs. Decoct until one zhan remains, strain the dregs, then add the three ground powders. Boil for one or two boils over heat. Drink when slightly warm, avoiding food intake around the time of administration.
