治痘黑陷，或红紫黑斑，切牙寒战。
人牙（自落者，火 存性，入韭菜汁淬，大牙三次，小牙二次，为末） 麝香（一分，或加
红曲二分） 用鸡冠血调成膏，乳酒各半盏，入葱白煎调送下。凡服只二三分，不可过多，多则
阳气尽出于表。主痘斑烂无血色，阴气内盛，必里寒濡泄，急以四君子加芎归服之。
治黑陷欲死者。一方加麝香、片脑少许。
用无病小儿粪阴干，于腊日将倾，银罐二个，上下合定，盐泥固济，火 通红，取
出为末，蜜水调服一钱。
治因风寒痘不起发，或红紫，或惊搐。
僵蚕（酒洗） 全蝎（酒洗，去足尾） 甘草 紫草 白附子（味苦，内白者真）
麻黄（各五钱） 穿山甲（炒末，二钱五分） 蝉蜕（去上头足，二钱） 为末，另将红
花。紫草各一两，好酒一钟，熬至大半去渣，下蜜五两，慢火同熬，滴水成珠为度，
丸龙眼大，每服一丸，灯心汤下。
治痘顶色红紫黑陷。
僵蚕（五钱，酒洗） 全蝎（酒洗，去头尾） 麻黄（不去节，各一两） 白附子（制
过，上白者佳，五钱） 紫草（一两） 穿山甲（三钱） 蝉蜕（三钱，酒洗，去头尾） 蟾酥（一钱）
为末，另将紫草一两，煎去渣熬成膏，又用蜜二两，入好酒半盏，同紫草膏和前末
药，丸如绿豆大，每三四岁者服一丸。如痘红紫黑陷者，紫草汤下；色淡薄灰陷者，美酒化下。
治疗痘疹黑陷，或者出现红紫黑色的斑疹，伴有咬牙、怕冷和寒战的症状。
人牙（取自自然脱落的牙齿，用火烧至存性，浸入韭菜汁中淬炼，大牙处理三次，小牙处理两次，研成细末）麝香（一分，也可以加入红曲二分）。用鸡冠血调和成膏状，取乳汁和酒各半盏，加入葱白煎煮后调匀送服。每次服用仅二三分，不可过量，过量则会导致阳气全部发散于体表。主治痘疹溃烂且无血色，因阴气内盛导致的里寒泄泻，急需服用四君子汤加川芎、当归。
治疗痘疹黑陷接近死亡的情况。一方剂中加入少许麝香和片脑（冰片）。
取健康小儿的粪便，在腊月最后一天傍晚前阴干，准备两个银罐，上下扣合固定，用盐泥密封加固，用火烧至通红，取出后研成细末，用蜂蜜水调服一钱。
治疗因风寒导致痘疹不能起发，或者颜色红紫，或者出现惊厥抽搐的情况。
僵蚕（用酒清洗）全蝎（用酒清洗，去掉足和尾部）甘草紫草白附子（味道苦的，内部白色的为真品）麻黄（各五钱）穿山甲（炒成细末，二钱五分）蝉蜕（去掉头部和足部，二钱）。研成细末，另外取红花、紫草各一两，好酒一杯，熬煮至剩大半时去渣，加入蜂蜜五两，用慢火继续熬煮，直到滴水成珠的程度，制成龙眼大小的丸药，每次服用一丸，用灯心草汤送服。
治疗痘顶颜色红紫黑陷的情况。
僵蚕（五钱，用酒清洗）全蝎（用酒清洗，去掉头和尾）麻黄（不去节，各一两）白附子（经过炮制，上部白色的为佳，五钱）紫草（一两）穿山甲（三钱）蝉蜕（三钱，用酒清洗，去掉头和尾）蟾酥（一钱）。研成细末，另外取紫草一两，煎煮去渣后熬成膏状，再用蜂蜜二两，加入好酒半盏，与紫草膏及前面的药末混合，制成绿豆大小的丸药，三四岁的儿童每次服用一丸。如果是痘疹红紫黑陷的，用紫草汤送服；如果痘色淡薄灰暗下陷的，用美酒化开送服。
To treat variola (smallpox) presenting with black depression, or red-purple-black macules, accompanied by teeth grinding, aversion to cold, and chills.
Renya (Human Tooth) (From naturally shed teeth, calcined until the original nature is preserved, quenched in juice of Chive Rhizome [Jiucai Zi], large teeth quenched three times, small teeth twice, ground into powder). Shexiang (Musk [Moschus]) (1 fen, or add Hongqu [Red Yeast Rice] 2 fen). Mix with blood from Rooster Comb [Jiguanxue] to form a paste. Take half a cup of milk and half a cup of wine, decoct with white part of Scallion Stem [Congbai], mix well, and administer orally. The dosage should only be 2-3 fen; do not overdose, as excessive intake will cause all Yang Qi to dissipate to the exterior. It treats variola lesions that are ulcerated and lack color, due to internal excess of Yin Qi leading to interior cold and loose stools; urgently administer Sijunzi Tang (Four Gentlemen Decoction) added with Chuanxiong Rhizome [Chuanxiong] and Angelicae Sinensis Radix [Danggui].
To treat variola black depression approaching death.
Another prescription adds a small amount of Shexiang (Musk [Moschus]) and Pian Nao (Borneol [Bingpian]).
Take feces from a healthy child, dry it in the shade before dusk on the last day of the twelfth lunar month. Use two silver jars, fit them together top and bottom, seal firmly with salt mud, heat until red-hot, take out, grind into powder, and take 1 qian mixed with honey water.
To treat variola that fails to erupt due to wind-cold, or presents with red-purple color, or convulsions and tremors.
Jiangcan (Silkworm [Bombyx Batryticatus]) (washed with wine). Quanxie (Scorpion [Scorpio]) (washed with wine, remove legs and tail). Gancao (Licorice Root [Gancao]). Zicao (Arnebia Root / Bugloss Root [Zicao]). Baifuzi (Aconitum Bulb [Baifuzi]) (bitter taste, inner white part is authentic). Mahuang (Ephedra Herb [Mahuang]) (each 5 qian). Chuanshanjia (Pangolin Scale [Chuanshanjia]) (stir-fried and powdered, 2.5 qian). Chantui (Cicada Slough [Chantui]) (remove head and legs, 2 qian). Grind into powder. Separately, take Honghua (Safflower [Honghua]) and Zicao (Arnebia Root / Bugloss Root [Zicao]), each 1 liang, and one bell of good wine, decoct until less than half remains, strain, add 5 liang of honey, simmer slowly over low fire until it forms beads when dropped in water. Form pills the size of a longan fruit. Take one pill per dose, administered with Decoction of Centipede Grass [Dengxincao].
To treat variola apex presenting with red-purple-black depression.
Jiangcan (Silkworm [Bombyx Batryticatus]) (5 qian, washed with wine). Quanxie (Scorpion [Scorpio]) (washed with wine, remove head and tail). Mahuang (Ephedra Herb [Mahuang]) (do not remove nodes, each 1 liang). Baifuzi (Aconitum Bulb [Baifuzi]) (processed, upper white part is best, 5 qian). Zicao (Arnebia Root / Bugloss Root [Zicao]) (1 liang). Chuanshanjia (Pangolin Scale [Chuanshanjia]) (3 qian). Chantui (Cicada Slough [Chantui]) (3 qian, washed with wine, remove head and tail). Chansu (Toad Venom [Chansu]) (1 qian). Grind into powder. Separately, take 1 liang of Zicao (Arnebia Root / Bugloss Root [Zicao]), decoct, strain, and boil into a paste. Add 2 liang of honey and half a bell of good wine, mix with the Zicao paste and the aforementioned powder, form pills the size of mung beans. For children aged 3-4 years, take one pill per dose. If the variola is red-purple and black-depressed, administer with Zicao Tang (Bugloss Decoction); if the color is pale, thin, and gray-depressed, dissolve and administer with fine wine.
