痘触变焦紫，倏时喘急至，急觅丝瓜皮，取末蜜调置，甘草地黄汤，一服痘更
起，若加烦谵时，犀角磨汤水，此是四五朝，治触当如此。期若至七八，空壳触必
死，浆半犯触症，按验莫糊指。（丝瓜皮需要看未生筋时取来燥干、临用只取皮蒂为
末）。
痘触变灰白，枭痒忍不得，附子绵黄 ，愈多功愈益，盘红根晕敛，用此可效
力。如无根缕绕，死症可言必。
痘正汹汹才翕浆，适为月水正临场，不知洁静相防护，致使花栏倏变常，月月红花
花一种，不分枝叶取煎汤，嫩杪煎汤投酒服，根枝浓沸浴花郎，不消时刻还归正，任
汝经红触满床。
麝香一触痒难熬，点点花心带黑焦，急把升麻苍耳草，浓煎慢浴转明娇，内应托里
扶元气，生地防风蝉蜕遭，归芍参 赤痘共，红花及与橘甘交。
死尸触变目翻斜，痘必沉潜吐沫加，速把芫葵并枣艾，为筒烧辟正灵家。外取芫荽
和姜醴，辰砂再入略须加，共将煮就时时呷，自得康宁扫去邪。
客忤相侵似若惊，啼号不歇面浑青，丝瓜细结含花香，露摘蒸来焙粉成，见症蜜调
随与服，量儿大小进多轻，此时莫说丝瓜贱，一寸丝瓜一寸金。
五六朝来浆正行，忽为猫犬兽惊停，古人特设乌龙散，远志菖蒲各等分，再加蝉蜕
酒煮透，去却菖蒲远志门，蝉蜕独留研细末，沙糖调服酒含噙。
痘疹因触变而呈现焦紫色，突然发生气喘急促，应立即寻找丝瓜皮，将其研成粉末，用蜂蜜调和后敷置患处。服用甘草地黄汤，一剂之后痘疹便会重新隆起。如果同时出现烦躁、胡言乱语的症状，则需用犀角磨成水汁服用。这是发病四五天的情况，治疗因触碰引起的变证应当如此。如果病程到了七八天，痘疹变成空壳且因触碰引发变证，必然死亡；若痘浆半满时犯下触症，诊察验证时不要含糊其辞。（丝瓜皮需要在未生筋络时采摘，晒干备用，临用时只取皮蒂部分研成粉末）。
痘疹因触变而呈现灰白色，瘙痒难忍，使用附子和绵黄芪（黄芪），用量越多功效越显著，能使盘状红晕收敛，使用此法可以见效。如果没有根须环绕（指痘根不固），则是死症无疑。
痘疹正处于旺盛阶段，刚刚开始灌浆，恰逢月经来潮。如果不注意洁净防护，致使痘疹形态突然改变。月月红花是一种花，不分枝叶直接煎煮汤药。取嫩梢煎汤，兑入酒中服用；取根枝浓煎，用来洗浴患者。不久即可恢复正常，任凭经血染红，即使触症遍布床榻也无妨。
麝香之气触犯导致瘙痒难熬，痘点中心带有黑焦色。急忙使用升麻和苍耳草，浓煎后缓慢洗浴，使痘疹转回明亮娇嫩。内服方应托里扶正元气，包含生地、防风、蝉蜕、当归、芍药、人参、赤芍、痘疹共用的药物，以及红花、橘皮、甘草等交合使用。
尸体气息触犯导致眼睛翻斜，痘疹必然沉陷不起并伴有吐沫。迅速将芫荽和枣叶艾草，做成筒状燃烧以辟邪气。外用取芫荽配合姜酒，再加入少许辰砂。共同煮好后时时饮用，自然能获得安宁，扫除邪气。
客忤之气侵袭，症状类似受惊，啼哭不止，面色青黑。使用丝瓜细结（指丝瓜老熟后的网状纤维）含有花香，露水采摘后蒸制焙干研成粉末。见到症状时用蜂蜜调和随即服用，根据患儿大小决定剂量轻重。此时不要说丝瓜廉价，一寸丝瓜值一寸金。
发病五六天，痘浆正在运行，忽然被猫狗野兽惊吓而停止灌浆。古人特别设立乌龙散，由远志和石菖蒲各等分组成，再加蝉蜕用酒煮透，去掉石菖蒲和远志，只留蝉蜕研成细末，用沙糖调服，含在口中慢慢咽下。
When the smallpox rash turns dark purple due to external contact, and sudden panting and urgency occur, one should urgently seek dried loofah skin (Luffae Fructus Cortex), grind it into powder, mix with honey, and apply. Administer Gancao Dihuang Tang (Licorice and Rehmannia Decoction); after one dose, the pustules will rise again. If restlessness and delirium are added, grind Rhinoceros Horn (Rhinocerotis Cornu) into water for administration. This applies to the fourth or fifth day of onset; treatment for contact-induced complications should be as described. If the condition reaches the seventh or eighth day, and the pustules become empty shells due to contact, death is inevitable. If contact occurs when the pus is half-formed, examination must not be vague. (Loofah skin should be harvested before tendons form, dried, and only the skin and stem tips ground into powder for use).
When the smallpox rash turns grayish-white due to contact, accompanied by unbearable itching, use Aconite Radix Preparata (Fuzi, 附子) and Astragali Radix Cum Radicula (Huangqi, 黄芪); the greater the dosage, the more effective the result. The red halo around the base will contract, and this method can yield efficacy. If there are no root-like filaments surrounding the base, it indicates a fatal case.
When the smallpox is raging and just beginning to fill with pus, coinciding with the onset of menstruation, if cleanliness and protection are neglected, the rash pattern suddenly changes. Safflower (Carthami Flos) is a type of flower; boil the whole plant without separating leaves and branches. Boil the tender tips in water, mix with wine, and ingest. Boil the roots and branches strongly, and bathe the patient. Within a short time, normalcy returns, regardless of menstrual blood staining or widespread contact symptoms.
Contact with Musk (Moschus) causes unbearable itching, with black scabs appearing at the center of the spots. Urgently decoct Cimicifugae Rhizoma (Shengma, 升麻) and Xanthii Fructus cum Spina (Cangercao, 苍耳草) in strong concentration, and bathe slowly to restore brightness and delicacy. Internally, use formulas to support the interior and boost Yuan Qi (Original Qi), including Shengdi Huang (Rehmanniae Radix), Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), Chantui (Cicadae Periostracum), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Baishao (Paeoniae Radix Alba), Renshen (Ginseng Radix), Chi Shao (Paeoniae Radix Rubra), Honghua (Carthami Flos), Juhong (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Rubrum), and Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma).
Contact with corpse qi causes eyes to roll and deviate, with the rash sinking deeply and increased salivation. Quickly burn Argyi Folium Moxa (Aiye, 艾叶) mixed with Celery (Yanhusuo/Yansui, here referring to Coriandri Fructus or Herba, Yan sui, 芫荽) shaped like a tube to dispel evil. Externally, combine Coriander (Yansui, 芫荽) with ginger wine, add a little Cinnabar (Zhensha, 辰砂), boil together, and sip frequently to achieve peace and expel pathogens.
Invasion by Guest Wu (Ke Wu, 客忤 - fright from strangers/unnatural influences) resembles shock, with ceaseless crying and a cyan face. Use mature loofah network fibers which retain fragrance, harvested with dew, steamed, baked, and ground into powder. Upon seeing symptoms, mix with honey and administer according to the child's age and size. Do not despise loofah as cheap; an inch of loofah is worth an inch of gold.
On the fifth or sixth day, while pus formation is proceeding, sudden fright from cats or dogs may halt the process. The ancients specifically established Wulong San (Black Dragon Powder), composed of equal parts Polygalae Radix (Yuanzhi, 远志) and Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma (Changpu, 菖蒲). Add Cicadae Periostracum (Chantui, 蝉蜕) and boil thoroughly in wine. Discard Polygala and Acorus, retaining only Cicadae Periostracum, grind into fine powder, mix with rock sugar, take in mouth, and swallow with wine.
