治急慢喉痹，咽喉肿塞不通。
盆硝（四钱） 白僵蚕（微炒，去嘴，为末，八钱） 甘草（生末，八钱） 青黛（八钱） 马勃末（三钱）
蒲黄（五钱） 麝香（一钱） 龙脑（一钱） 为末，藏贮瓷盒，每用一钱，新汲水调咽，如是喉痹
即破，出血便愈。若非喉痹，自然消散，诸般热肿，用药五分擦在舌上，咽津即愈。
治咽喉痛大效。

每服三五丸，噙化咽津。

僵蚕（直者，十个） 牙皂（一挺，去皮、弦） 全蝎（十个，头角全者，去毒） 硼砂
雄黄 明矾（各一钱） 胆丸（五分） 为末，每用一字，吹喉中即愈。
一方
治乳鹅。用野芥菜捣汁，醋调，以鹅翎探入喉中，吐出涎水即愈。
治诸喉病， 腮肿毒俱效。
连翘 防风 贝母 荆芥 玄参 枳壳 甘草 白芥子 赤芍 天花粉 桔梗 牛
蒡子 黄芩 射干 加灯心，水煎服。
一方
治缠喉风，用白矾细末五分，乌鸡子一个，二味调匀，灌喉中立效，活人甚多。
治咽喉肿痛，不能咽物，及口舌生疮。
龙脑（五分） 硼砂（一钱） 朱砂（三钱） 马牙硝（五分） 寒水石（ 熟，二钱） 研匀，每
用一字掺于舌上，津咽之。
治疗少阴经咽痛。
桔梗、甘草（各取等量），每次服用五钱，用水煎煮后服用。
治疗急性和慢性喉痹，咽喉肿胀堵塞不通畅。

治疗咽喉疼痛效果显著。
田豆根（一两）、硼砂（二钱）、龙脑（少许）、麝香（少许）。将上述药物研成细末，用毒鱼胆作为粘合剂制成丸药，大小如绿豆。每次服用三至五丸，含在口中化开并咽下津液。
治疗喉痹。
僵蚕（选直挺的，十个）、牙皂（一根，去掉皮和筋膜）、全蝎（十个，头角完整的，去毒）、硼砂、雄黄、明矾（各一钱）、胆丸（五分）。将上述药物研成细末，每次取“一字”量的药粉，吹入喉中即可痊愈。
另一方法：
治疗乳蛾（扁桃体肿大）。用野芥菜捣汁，用醋调和，用鹅毛管探入喉中，吐出涎水即可痊愈。
另法：
取一块白矾，挖空中心，放入一粒巴豆，用火加热至沸腾，去掉巴豆后将剩余物研成细末，吹入少许到喉中。
治疗各种喉部疾病，腮部肿胀毒素也有效。
连翘、防风、贝母、荆芥、玄参、枳壳、甘草、白芥子、赤芍、天花粉、桔梗、牛蒡子、黄芩、射干。加入灯心草，用水煎煮后服用。
另一方法：
治疗缠喉风（急性喉梗阻），用白矾细末五分，乌鸡蛋一个，将两味药调匀，灌入喉中立即见效，救活很多人。
治疗咽喉肿痛，无法吞咽食物，以及口舌生疮。

Treats Shaoyin throat pain (throat pain associated with the Shaoyin channel).
Jiegeng (Platycodonis Radix) and Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), in equal parts. Take five qian per dose, decocted in water for oral administration.
Treats acute and chronic Hou Bi (obstruction of the throat characterized by swelling and difficulty swallowing), where the throat is swollen and blocked, preventing free passage.
Penxiao (Natrii Sulfas), four qian; Bai Jiangcan (Bombyx Batryticatus), lightly stir-fried, mouthparts removed, powdered, eight qian; Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), raw and powdered, eight qian; Qingdai (Indigo Naturalis), eight qian; Mabo (Fomes Officinalis), powdered, three qian; Puhuang (Pollen Typhae), five qian; Shexiang (Moschus), one qian; Longnao (Borneolum Syntheticum), one qian. Grind all ingredients into a fine powder, store in a porcelain box. For use, take one qian, mix with fresh cold water, and swallow. If it is Hou Bi, suppuration and bleeding will occur, leading to cure; if not Hou Bi, the condition will naturally dissipate. For various heat-induced swellings, apply half a qian of the powder on the tongue and swallow the saliva.
Highly effective for treating sore throat.
Tiandougen (Radix Dolichoris), one liang; Pengsha (Borax), two qian; Longnao (Borneolum Syntheticum), a small amount; Shexiang (Moschus), a small amount. Grind into a fine powder, bind with venomous fish gallbladder juice to form pills the size of mung beans. Take three to five pills per dose, hold in the mouth to dissolve, and swallow the saliva.
Treats Hou Bi.
Jiangcan (Bombyx Batryticatus), straight ones, ten pieces; Yazao (Gleditsiae Sinensis Fructus Spina), one pod, skin and membranes removed; Quanxie (Scorpio), ten pieces, complete head and horns, detoxified; Pengsha (Borax); Xionghuang (Realgar); Mingfan (Alumen), each one qian; Danwan (Gallbladder Pill), five fen. Grind into a fine powder. For use, take an amount equivalent to "one character" (approx. 0.5-1g), insufflate into the throat for immediate relief.
Another prescription:
Treats Ru E (swollen tonsils resembling a teat). Crush wild mustard greens to extract juice, mix with vinegar, insert a goose feather probe into the throat to induce vomiting of phlegm/saliva for cure.
Alternative method:
Take a piece of white alum, hollow out the center, insert one seed of Badou (Crotonis Tiglium), heat over fire until boiling, remove the seed, grind the remaining alum into powder, and insufflate a small amount into the throat.
Effective for various throat diseases and swelling/toxicity in the cheeks.
Lqiao (Forsythiae Fructus), Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), Beimu (Fritillariae Cirrhosae Bulbus), Jingjie (Schizonepetae Spica), Xuanshen (Scrophulariae Radix), Zhike (Aurantii Fructus), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), Baijiezi (Sinapis Semen), Chishao (Paeoniae Radix Rubra), Tianhuafen (Trichosanthis Radix), Jiegeng (Platocodonis Radix), Niubangzi (Arctii Fructus), Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix), Shegan (Belamcandae Rhizoma). Add Dengxincao (Junci Medullia), decoct in water, and take orally.
Another prescription:
Treats Chan Hou Feng (strangling wind/acute laryngeal obstruction). Mix five fen of fine white alum powder with one black-bone chicken egg, blend well, and instill into the throat for immediate effect, saving many lives.
Treats sore throat and swelling, inability to swallow food, and sores on the mouth and tongue.
Longnao (Borneolum Syntheticum), five fen; Pengsha (Borax), one qian; Zhusha (Cinnabaris), three qian; Mayaxiao (Natrii Sulfas Crystallisatus), five fen; Hanshuishi (Halloysitum Rubrum), calcined, two qian. Grind uniformly. For use, take an amount equivalent to "one character," sprinkle on the tongue, and swallow with saliva.
