治盗汗。
当归 黄 生地 麦冬 甘草 黄连 白芍 浮小麦 用 猪心，竹刀剖开。
煮汤煎药服之效。
补中气，固自汗。
用白术去芦，米泔水浸一宿，饭上蒸晒三四次，乃切片炒黄，清水煎取头二汁，去
渣，慢火熬成膏，白汤调服。虚极者，人参汤调服。
治痘痈毒。去薄荷、连翘，即十三味败毒散。
白芷 防风 乳香 没药 甘草 连翘 赤芍 穿山甲（炙焦） 归梢 天花粉 薄荷 角
刺贝母（各一钱） 金银花（三钱） 陈皮（一钱） 水酒各半煎服。
治痘疔毒瓦斯炽盛，使诸痘不能起发，起发者不能灌脓，灌脓者不能收靥，或大痛
或麻木痛者，灸至不痛，不痛者，灸至痛其
毒随火而散，凡疔挑破出毒血者，可治。若挑破不痛，不出血者，难治。若用此法灸
之。即知痛，更用银针挑破。紫血随出、诸毒随贯亦有生者。其法用大蒜切三分浓，安
痘疔上，用小艾炷于蒜上灸之，每五壮易蒜再灸，若紫血出后。肿痛不止，尤宜常灸。
使用蚂蟥，即水蛭。选取体型较大的，放置在红肿部位，让其吸吮排出恶血，立即见效。
治疗盗汗。
配方：当归、黄芪、生地黄、麦冬、甘草、黄连、白芍、浮小麦。
用法：取猪心，用竹刀剖开。将药物放入猪心中煮汤，再煎煮药物服用，效果显著。
补益中气，巩固止住自汗。
用法：取白术去除芦头，用米泔水浸泡一夜，放在饭上蒸晒三四次，然后切片炒至黄色，用清水煎取前两遍药汁，滤去药渣，用慢火熬制成膏状，用白开水调服。身体极度虚弱者，用人参汤调服。
治疗虚性便秘。
配方：当归梢、甘草、生地黄、火麻仁、桃仁泥。
用法：用水煎服。
治疗痘疮痈疽毒邪。去掉薄荷、连翘，即为十三味败毒散。
配方：白芷、防风、乳香、没药、甘草、连翘、赤芍、穿山甲（炙焦）、当归梢、天花粉、薄荷、角刺贝母（各一钱）、金银花（三钱）、陈皮（一钱）。
用法：用水和酒各半煎服。
治疗痘疔毒瓦斯炽盛，导致所有痘疮不能起发，起发的不能灌脓，灌脓的不能收靥，或者剧烈疼痛或麻木疼痛的情况。艾灸直到不痛为止；原本不痛的，艾灸直到感到疼痛，其毒邪随火气而消散。凡是疔疮挑破后流出毒血的，可以治疗。如果挑破后不痛且不出血的，难以治疗。如果使用此法艾灸，就会感到疼痛，再用银针挑破。紫色血液随之流出，各种毒邪随之消散，也有痊愈的。具体方法是：将大蒜切成三分厚的片，敷在痘疔上，用小艾炷在蒜片上艾灸，每灸五壮更换一次蒜片继续灸。如果紫色血液流出后，肿痛不止，尤其适宜经常艾灸。
治疗痘疔。
配方：雄黄一钱，研成粉末。用胭脂重重浸泡的水，调浓雄黄末，点涂在痘疔顶端，立刻变得红活，也是神奇的方法。因为雄黄能拔毒，胭脂能活血罢了。
Use leeches, namely *Hirudo nipponica* (Shuizhi, 水蛭). Select larger ones, place them on the swollen and red area, allow them to suck out the bad blood, which is immediately effective.
Treat night sweats.
Formula: Danggui Radix Angelicae Sinensis (Danggui, 当归), Huangqi Radix Astragali Membranacei (Huangqi, 黄芪), Shengdihuang Rhizoma Rehmanniae Recens (Shengdi, 生地), Maidong Radix Ophiopogonis (Maidong, 麦冬), Gancao Radix Glycyrrhizae (Gancao, 甘草), Huanglian Rhizoma Coptidis (Huanglian, 黄连), Baishao Radix Paeoniae Alba (Baishao, 白芍), Xiaomai Fructus Tritici Levis (Xiaomai, 浮小麦).
Usage: Take a pig heart, cut it open with a bamboo knife. Boil the herbs in the soup made from the pig heart and take the decoction orally for efficacy.
Tonify middle Qi and consolidate to stop spontaneous sweating.
Usage: Remove the rhizome of Baizhu Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae (Baizhu, 白术), soak it in rice washing water overnight, steam it over rice and dry it three or four times, then slice and stir-fry until yellow. Decoct in clear water to obtain the first two juices, filter out the dregs, and slowly boil into an ointment. Take mixed with white boiled water. For those with extreme deficiency, mix with Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen, 人参) decoction.
Treat constipation due to deficiency.
Formula: Dangguiqiao Terminalis Radix Angelicae Sinensis (Dangguiqiao, 归梢), Gancao Radix Glycyrrhizae (Gancao, 甘草), Shengdihuang Rhizoma Rehmanniae Recens (Shengdi, 生地), Huomaren Semen Cannabis (Huomaren, 火麻仁), Taoren Semen Persicae (Taoren, 桃仁) mashed into paste.
Usage: Decoct in water and take orally.
Treat toxic sores and carbuncles from smallpox. Removing Bohe Folium Menthae (Bohe, 薄荷) and Lianqiao Fructus Forsythiae (Lianqiao, 连翘) yields the Thirteen-Ingredient Toxin-Resolving Powder (Shisanwei Baidu San, 十三味败毒散).
Formula: Baizhi Radix Saposhnikoviae (Baizhi, 白芷), Fangfeng Radix Saposhnikoviae (Fangfeng, 防风), Ruxiang Resina Draconis (Ruxiang, 乳香), Moyao Resina Boswelliae (Moyao, 没药), Gancao Radix Glycyrrhizae (Gancao, 甘草), Lianqiao Fructus Forsythiae (Lianqiao, 连翘), Chishao Radix Paeoniae Rubra (Chishao, 赤芍), Chanshanjia Squama Manis (Chanshanjia, 穿山甲) roasted until charred, Dangguiqiao Terminalis Radix Angelicae Sinensis (Dangguiqiao, 归梢), Tianhuafen Radix Trichosanthis (Tianhuafen, 天花粉), Bohe Folium Menthae (Bohe, 薄荷), Jiaocibei Fructus Fritillariae Cirrhosae cum Spina (Jiaocibei, 角刺贝母) (each 1 qian), Jinyinhao Flos Lonicerae Japonicae (Jinyinhua, 金银花) (3 qian), Chenpi Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae (Chenpi, 陈皮) (1 qian).
Usage: Decoct with half water and half wine, and take orally.
Treat severe toxicity of smallpox thorns (Dou Ding, 痘疔) causing failure of pustules to rise, fill with pus, or crust over; or causing severe pain or numbness. Moxibustion should be applied until pain ceases; if there was no pain initially, moxibustion should be applied until pain arises, dispersing the toxin via fire. Cases where the thorn is pricked and toxic blood flows are treatable. If pricked without pain and no blood flows, it is difficult to treat. If this moxibustion method is used, pain will ensue; then prick with a silver needle. Purple blood will flow out, and toxins will dissipate; some may survive. The method involves slicing garlic to a thickness of 3 fen, placing it on the smallpox thorn, and applying small moxa cones on top of the garlic. Change the garlic after every five moxa cones and continue. If swelling and pain persist after purple blood flows out, frequent moxibustion is especially suitable.
Treat smallpox thorns.
Formula: Xionghuang Realgar (Xionghuang, 雄黄) 1 qian, ground. Use water heavily infused with Zhiyan Cochineal (Zhiyan, 胭脂) to make a thick paste with the Xionghuang powder. Apply to the tip of the smallpox thorn; it will immediately become red and vibrant. This is also a miraculous method because Xionghuang can extract toxins and Zhiyan can invigorate blood circulation.
