右皮去黑皮用白肉，以猪脂少多煎去滓，候凝随实使之。

上五味先下脂煎，令消，下发，发消下矾石矾消下松脂，松脂消下蜡，蜡消膏成。滤过，候凝涂敷之。

上六味以清酒炼羊髓三过， 咀，诸药煎膏成，绞去滓，用小豆大，纳鼻中，日三。
治竹木所刺，入手足，壮不出脓，疼痛，羊屎膏方
上取干羊屎捣筛，用猪脂和以涂之，疮口立出。
治汤泪入HT 烂坏，术膏方

治HT 疽疥癣及恶疮，芦茹膏方
芦茹（三两，漆头者） 雄黄 雌黄末（各一两） 丹砂（一两，研） 乱发（半两，洗）
上五味捣筛，令调，煎以先用猪脂二升半，煎发，取尽，纳诸药微火更煎，候膏成，不令他人鸡猫犬见，日上三四。
治妇人妒乳生疮，雄黄膏方
雄黄 白蔹 雄黄 漆头芦茹（各一两） 乱发（一团，如鸡子大）
上五味各研捣筛，以不中水猪脂二升，先煎乱发令尽，下诸药，再微火煎，候膏成，放凝，涂疮上，日三四。
治诸恶疮，麝香膏方
麝香 冷石 雄黄 丹砂（各五分）
上四味各细研如粉，以腊月猪脂量其多少调和，如涂敷疮时，先用大黄汤放温，洗了淹干，然后涂膏。
治头疮恶疮骨疽等，牛屎熏方
取苦瓠截除底断其鼻，取牛屎者地上烧，以无底瓠笼屎上，引烟从瓠空出，以疮着烟上熏之自然止，过三度即除。
六物灭瘢膏方
衣中白鱼 鸡屎 白鹰粪 白芍药 白蔹 白蜂
上药研如粉，以乳汁和涂瘢上，日三，良。
《短剧》灭瘢方
鸡矢白（一两） 辛夷仁（四分） 白附子（二分） 细辛（二分）
上四味酒浸一宿，以羊脂六合微火煎三上三下、去滓。伤瘢以甘草汤洗讫涂之。一方又有桂心一分。
又方
鹰屎白（一两，研）
白蜜和涂瘢上，日三。
服用此药，每次如弹丸大小一枚，每日三次。此膏药无所不治。
治疗小儿头疮及恶疮的紫草膏方：
紫草（三两）、黄连、女青、白芷（各一两）、矾石（三两，烧至出汗状）、苦酒（五合）、生地、榆根（一两）。
以上七味药，将矾石、紫草、黄连三味研为细末，加入其他药物煎煮，待药液呈白芷黄色时成膏，敷于疮口上。
治疗小儿热疮的水银膏方：
水银（二两）、胡粉（二分）、松脂（二两）、猪肝（四升）。
以上四味药，先煎松脂和水银，待水气蒸发后，加入其余三味药搅拌，直至看不见水银颗粒，冷却后敷于疮口上。
治疗火烫伤的柏皮膏：
取柏树皮，去掉黑色外皮，只用白色内皮，用适量猪脂煎煮，去渣，待凝固后根据疮面情况使用。
治疗疽病浸淫广泛，红肿发黑溃烂成疮的羊髓膏方：
羊髓（二两）、大黄（二两）、甘草（一两）、胡粉（二分）。
以上四味药切碎，用猪脂二升半，加入胡粉，用微火煎煮三次，过滤去渣，待冷却后敷于疮口，每日四五次。
治疗热毒结聚及肿胀成疮的升麻膏方：
升麻（三两）、白术（一两）、牡蛎（三分）、白芨（二两）、白蔹（二两）、草（二分）、夜干（二两）、大黄（二两）、黄连（二两）。
以上九味药切碎，用猪脂三升，微火煎煮，成膏后过滤去渣，敷于疮口，每日四五次。
治疗热疮的生地黄膏方：
生地黄、白蔹、白芷、黄连、升麻、黄芩、大黄（以上各十两）。
以上七味药切碎，用猪脂一升半，微火煎成膏，过滤去渣，敷于疮口，每日四五次。
治疗恶疮全面溃烂的雄黄膏方：
雄黄、矾石（末）、藜芦、当归、黄连、附子（各二两）、草、芎、白芨（各一两）、巴豆（六十枚，去皮心）。
以上十味药切碎，用猪脂二升，微火煎成，过滤去渣，加入石末搅拌均匀，敷于疮口，每日四五次。
治疗疽病的水银膏方：
水银（二两半）、胡粉（二两）、松脂（二两）、猪脂（四升）。
以上四味药先煎松脂，待水气尽后下胡粉，搅拌使水银完全看不见，可敷于疮口，每日三次。也可治疗小儿疳积热疮和头疮。
治疗痱瘰疮的白蔹膏方：
白蔹（三两）、白芷（三两）、芎、大黄、黄连（各二两）、当归（二两）、黄柏（二两）、豉（八分，炒制）、羊脂（三两）、猪脂（二升）。
以上十味药切碎，用两种油脂合煎，加入诸药，微火煎成膏，去渣，待凝固后敷之。
治疗皮肤中热痱瘰疮的白蔹膏方：
白蔹、黄连（各一两）、生胡粉（一两）。
以上三味药捣碎过筛，溶化油脂调和后敷之。
治疗热疮的生地黄膏方：
生地黄（四两）、黄连（四两）、大黄（三两）、黄柏、甘草（炙）、白蔹、升麻（各二两）。
以上七味药切碎，用猪脂二升半，微火合煎成膏，过滤去渣，待凝固后可敷之。
治疗热疮的生地黄膏方：
生地黄（四两）、黄连（五两）、白蔹、芍药、白芨（各二两）、苦参、升麻（各三两）。
以上七味药切碎，用猪脂二升半纳入诸药同熬，成膏后去渣，待凝固后敷之。
治疗温热诸疮的黄连膏方：
黄连、白蔹、白芷（各二两）、生胡粉（一两）。
以上四味药细筛，用猪脂调涂。
治疗热疮的蛇床子膏方：
蛇床子、干地黄（二两）、苦参（一两）、大黄、通草（二分）、白芷、黄连、野狼牙（二分）。
以上八味药捣碎过筛为细末，用猪脂随意调和涂之。
治疗热疮的木兰膏方：
木兰（一两）、白芷、黄连（各三两）、黄柏（二两）、芍药（一两）、栀子（二十一枚）、黄芩（二两）、野狼牙（二两）、夜干（一两）、蛇床子（一两）。
以上十味药切碎，用猪脂二升合诸药微火煎，成膏后去渣。
治疗热疮的黄连膏方：
黄连、生胡粉（各三两）、白蔹（二两）、大黄（二两）、黄柏（二两）。
以上五味药为末，用猪脂随意调和涂之。
治疗灸疮的甘草膏方：
甘草（一两）、当归（一两）、胡粉、羊脂（一两半）、猪脂（三两）。
以上五味药切碎，用猪脂和羊脂并诸药微火煎，成膏，过滤去渣，待凝固后敷之。
治疗诸痈破溃后脓血极多导致极度虚弱的黄膏方：
黄、附子、白芷、甘草、防风、大黄、当归、续断、芍药（各一两）、苁蓉（一分）、生地黄（五分）、细辛（三分）。
以上十二味药切段，用猪脂三升，纳入诸药微火慢煎，待白芷呈黄色膏成，过滤去渣，待凝固后涂于疮口并按摩四周口中，每日四次。
治疗痈疽已溃烂的白芷摩膏方：
白芷（三分）、甘草（三分）、乌头（三分）、薤白（十五枚）、青竹皮。
以上五味药用猪脂一升合煎，待白芷呈黄色膏成，过滤去渣，涂于四周。
治疗诸疽疮的膏方：
蜡（一两）、乱发、矾石（熬制，各一两）、松脂（一两，挑选过的）、猪脂（四两）。
以上五味药先下油脂煎煮，令其融化，再下乱发，发消后下矾石，矾石消后下松脂，松脂消后下蜡，蜡消后膏成。过滤，待凝固后涂敷。
治疗鼻塞不通的利鼻白芷膏方：
白芷、通草、蕤核（各一分）、薰草（二株）、羊髓（八铢）、当归（一分）。
以上六味药用清酒炼羊髓三次，切碎诸药煎成膏，过滤去渣，取小豆大小，纳入鼻中，每日三次。
治疗竹木刺入手足，肿胀不出脓，疼痛的羊屎膏方：
取干羊屎捣碎过筛，用猪脂调和涂之，疮口立出刺。
治疗汤火伤入肉烂坏的术膏方：
术（二两）、附子（二枚，大者，炮制）、甘草（一两）、羊脂（五两）、松脂、鸡子（大，一块）、猪脂（五两，不浸入水的）。
以上六味药微火上先煎猪脂后，纳羊脂并诸药，又煎成膏，过滤去渣，待凝固，涂于疮上每日三次。
又一方：
柏树皮（四两，去黑处）、甘草（三两，细切）、淡竹叶（二两，切）。
以上三味药用不沾水的猪胆一升二合，入药煎成膏，过滤去渣，涂于疮上，每日三次。
又一方：
麻子（一合，取仁）、柏皮（一两，取白）、白芷（一两）、生柳皮（一两，去白）。
以上四味药切碎，用脂一升同煎成膏，滤去渣，待凝固敷疮，每日三次。
治疗疖疽疥癣及恶疮的芦茹膏方：
芦茹（三两，漆头者）、雄黄、雌黄末（各一两）、丹砂（一两，研）、乱发（半两，洗）。
以上五味药捣碎过筛，令其调和，先用猪脂二升半煎发，取尽，纳诸药微火更煎，待膏成，不让他人鸡猫犬看见，每日上药三四次。
治疗妇人妒乳生疮的雄黄膏方：
雄黄、白蔹、雄黄、漆头芦茹（各一两）、乱发（一团，如鸡蛋大）。
以上五味药各研捣筛，用不沾水的猪脂二升，先煎乱发令尽，下诸药，再微火煎，待膏成，放凝，涂于疮上，每日三四次。
治疗诸恶疮的麝香膏方：
麝香、冷石、雄黄、丹砂（各五分）。
以上四味药各细研如粉，用腊月猪脂量其多少调和，如涂敷疮时，先用大黄汤放温，洗净擦干，然后涂膏。
治疗头疮恶疮骨疽等的牛屎熏方：
取苦瓠截除底断其鼻，取牛屎在地上烧，以无底瓠笼屎上，引烟从瓠空出，以疮着烟上熏之自然止，过三度即除。

Formula for Zicao Ointment to treat pediatric head sores and malignant ulcers:
Radix Arnebiae (Zicao, 3 liang), Rhizoma Coptidis (Huanglian), Radix et Rhizoma Bupleuri (Nüqing), Radix Angelicae Dahuricae (Baizhi, 1 liang each), Alumen (Fanshi, 3 liang, calcined until moisture evaporates), Vinegar (Ku Jiu, 5 he), Radix Rehmanniae Preparata (Shengdi), Cortex Ulmi (Yugen, 1 liang).
Grind the Alumen, Radix Arnebiae, and Rhizoma Coptidis into fine powder. Add the remaining herbs and decoct in oil/fat until the mixture turns yellow like Baizhi. Apply the resulting ointment to the sore.
Formula for Shuiyin Ointment to treat pediatric heat sores:
Hydrargyrum (Shuiyin, 2 liang), Cerussa (Hufen, 2 fen), Resina Pini (Songzhi, 2 liang), Liver Porci (Zhugan, 4 sheng).
Decoct the Resina Pini and Hydrargyrum until the water vapor dissipates. Add the other three ingredients and stir until the Hydrargyrum particles are no longer visible. Cool and apply to the sore.
Bo Pi Ointment for burns:
Remove the black outer bark from Bo Pi, using only the white inner bark. Decoct with an appropriate amount of Suet Porci (pig fat), filter, and apply when solidified according to the wound condition.
Formula for Yangsui Ointment to treat spreading carbuncles with red-black necrosis:
Medulla Ovis (Yangsui, 2 liang), Radix et Rhizoma Rhei (Dahuang, 2 liang), Radix Glycyrrhizae (Gancao, 1 liang), Cerussa (Hufen, 2 fen).
Chop the four ingredients. Decoct with 2.5 sheng of Suet Porci and the Cerussa over low heat for three cycles. Filter and apply when cool, 4-5 times daily.
Formula for Shengma Ointment to treat heat-toxin accumulation and swelling sores:
Radix Cimicifugae (Shengma, 3 liang), Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae (Baizhu, 1 liang), Concha Ostreae (Muli, 3 fen), Rhizoma Bletillae (Baiji, 2 liang), Radix Ampelopsis (Bailian, 2 liang), Herb (Cao, 2 fen), Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens (Yegan, 2 liang), Radix et Rhizoma Rhei (Dahuang, 2 liang), Rhizoma Coptidis (Huanglian, 2 liang).
Chop the nine ingredients. Decoct with 3 sheng of Suet Porci over low heat. Filter and apply when formed into ointment, 4-5 times daily.
Formula for Shengdihuang Ointment to treat heat sores:
Radix Rehmanniae Recens (Shengdihuang), Radix Ampelopsis (Bailian), Radix Angelicae Dahuricae (Baizhi), Rhizoma Coptidis (Huanglian), Radix Cimicifugae (Shengma), Cortex Scutellariae (Huangqin), Radix et Rhizoma Rhei (Dahuang) (each 10 liang).
Chop the seven ingredients. Decoct with 1.5 sheng of Suet Porci over low heat. Filter and apply, 4-5 times daily.
Formula for Xionghuang Ointment to treat widespread malignant ulcers:
Realgar (Xionghuang), Alumen (Fanshi, powdered), Rhizoma Veratri (Lilu), Radix Angelicae Sinensis (Danggui), Rhizoma Coptidis (Huanglian), Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata (Fuzi) (each 2 liang), Herb (Cao), Rhizoma Chuanxiong (Xiong), Rhizoma Bletillae (Baiji) (each 1 liang), Fructus Crotonis (Badou, 60 seeds, peeled and cored).
Chop the ten ingredients. Decoct with 2 sheng of Suet Porci over low heat. Filter and mix with stone powder. Apply to the sore, 4-5 times daily.
Formula for Shuiyin Ointment to treat carbuncles:
Hydrargyrum (Shuiyin, 2.5 liang), Cerussa (Hufen, 2 liang), Resina Pini (Songzhi, 2 liang), Suet Porci (Zhuzhi, 4 sheng).
Decoct the Resina Pini first. When water vapor is gone, add the Cerussa and stir until the Hydrargyrum is invisible. Apply to the sore, three times daily. Also treats pediatric malnutrition heat sores and head sores.
Formula for Bailian Ointment to treat feiluo sores:
Radix Ampelopsis (Bailian, 3 liang), Radix Angelicae Dahuricae (Baizhi, 3 liang), Rhizoma Chuanxiong (Xiong), Radix et Rhizoma Rhei (Dahuang), Rhizoma Coptidis (Huanglian) (each 2 liang), Radix Angelicae Sinensis (Danggui, 2 liang), Cortex Phellodendri (Huangbai, 2 liang), Semen Sojae Preparatum (Chi, 8 fen, fried), Medulla Ovis (Yangzhi, 3 liang), Suet Porci (Zhuzhi, 2 sheng).
Chop the ten ingredients. Decoct together with both fats over low heat. Filter and apply when solidified.
Formula for Bailian Ointment to treat skin heat feiluo sores:
Radix Ampelopsis (Bailian), Rhizoma Coptidis (Huanglian) (each 1 liang), Raw Cerussa (Sheng Hufen, 1 liang).
Pulverize and sieve the three ingredients. Mix with melted fat and apply.
Formula for Shengdihuang Ointment to treat heat sores:
Radix Rehmanniae Recens (Shengdihuang, 4 liang), Rhizoma Coptidis (Huanglian, 4 liang), Radix et Rhizoma Rhei (Dahuang, 3 liang), Cortex Phellodendri (Huangbai), Radix Glycyrrhizae (Gancao, roasted), Radix Ampelopsis (Bailian), Radix Cimicifugae (Shengma) (each 2 liang).
Chop the seven ingredients. Decoct with 2.5 sheng of Suet Porci over low heat. Filter and apply when solidified.
Formula for Shengdihuang Ointment to treat heat sores:
Radix Rehmanniae Recens (Shengdihuang, 4 liang), Rhizoma Coptidis (Huanglian, 5 liang), Radix Ampelopsis (Bailian), Radix Paeoniae Alba (Shaoyao), Rhizoma Bletillae (Baiji) (each 2 liang), Radix Sophorae Flavescentis (Kushen), Radix Cimicifugae (Shengma) (each 3 liang).
Chop the seven ingredients. Decoct with 2.5 sheng of Suet Porci. Filter and apply when solidified.
Formula for Huanglian Ointment to treat warm-heat sores:
Rhizoma Coptidis (Huanglian), Radix Ampelopsis (Bailian), Radix Angelicae Dahuricae (Baizhi) (each 2 liang), Raw Cerussa (Sheng Hufen, 1 liang).
Sieve the four ingredients finely. Mix with Suet Porci and apply.
Formula for Shechuangzi Ointment to treat heat sores:
Fructus Cnidii (Shechuangzi), Radix Rehmanniae Preparata (Gan Dihuang, 2 liang), Radix Sophorae Flavescentis (Kushen, 1 liang), Radix et Rhizoma Rhei (Dahuang), Herba Tetrapanacis Agrestis (Tongcao, 2 fen), Radix Angelicae Dahuricae (Baizhi), Rhizoma Coptidis (Huanglian), Root of Wild Wolf's Tooth (Ye Langya, 2 fen).
Pulverize and sieve the eight ingredients. Mix with Suet Porci as desired and apply.
Formula for Mulan Ointment to treat heat sores:
Cortex Magnoliae Officinalis (Mulan, 1 liang), Radix Angelicae Dahuricae (Baizhi), Rhizoma Coptidis (Huanglian) (each 3 liang), Cortex Phellodendri (Huangbai, 2 liang), Radix Paeoniae Alba (Shaoyao, 1 liang), Fructus Gardeniae (Zhizi, 21 pieces), Cortex Scutellariae (Huangqin, 2 liang), Root of Wild Wolf's Tooth (Ye Langya, 2 liang), Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens (Yegan, 1 liang), Fructus Cnidii (Shechuangzi, 1 liang).
Chop the ten ingredients. Decoct with 2 sheng of Suet Porci over low heat. Filter when done.
Formula for Huanglian Ointment to treat heat sores:
Rhizoma Coptidis (Huanglian), Raw Cerussa (Sheng Hufen) (each 3 liang), Radix Ampelopsis (Bailian, 2 liang), Radix et Rhizoma Rhei (Dahuang, 2 liang), Cortex Phellodendri (Huangbai, 2 liang).
Pulverize the five ingredients. Mix with Suet Porci as desired and apply.
Formula for Gancao Ointment to treat moxibustion sores:
Radix Glycyrrhizae (Gancao, 1 liang), Radix Angelicae Sinensis (Danggui, 1 liang), Cerussa (Hufen), Medulla Ovis (Yangzhi, 1.5 liang), Suet Porci (Zhuzhi, 3 liang).
Chop the five ingredients. Decoct with Suet Porci and Medulla Ovis over low heat. Filter and apply when solidified.
Formula for Huang [missing character] Ointment to treat extreme deficiency after rupture of boils with excessive pus and blood:
Huang [missing], Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata (Fuzi), Radix Angelicae Dahuricae (Baizhi), Radix Glycyrrhizae (Gancao), Radix Saposhnikoviae (Fangfeng), Radix et Rhizoma Rhei (Dahuang), Radix Angelicae Sinensis (Danggui), Radix Dipsaci (Xuduan), Radix Paeoniae Alba (Shaoyao) (each 1 liang), Rhizoma Cynomorii (Rongrong, 1 fen), Radix Rehmanniae Recens (Shengdihuang, 5 fen), Radix Asari (Xixin, 3 fen).
Cut the twelve ingredients. Decoct with 3 sheng of Suet Porci over slow low heat until Baizhi turns yellow. Filter and apply when solidified, massaging the wound edges and mouth area, four times daily.
Formula for Baizhi Massage Ointment to treat ruptured carbuncles:
Radix Angelicae Dahuricae (Baizhi, 3 fen), Radix Glycyrrhizae (Gancao, 3 fen), Radix Aconiti Karakolicum (Wutou, 3 fen), Bulbus Allii Macrostemonis (Xiebai, 15 pieces), Cortex Bambusae Viridis (Qing Zhupi).
Decoct the five ingredients with 1 sheng of Suet Porci until Baizhi turns yellow. Filter and apply to the edges.
Formula for Zhuju Ointment:
Cera Flava (La, 1 liang), Disordered Hair (Luanniao), Alumen (Fanshi, calcined, each 1 liang), Resina Pini (Songzhi, 1 liang, selected), Suet Porci (Zhuzhi, 4 liang).
First melt the fats. Add hair; when dissolved, add Alumen; when dissolved, add Resina Pini; when dissolved, add Wax. When wax melts, the ointment is ready. Filter and apply when solidified.
Formula for Lizhi Baizhi Nasal Ointment to treat nasal congestion:
Radix Angelicae Dahuricae (Baizhi), Herba Tetrapanacis Agrestis (Tongcao), Semen Pruni Armeniacae (Ru He) (each 1 fen), Herb Agastache (Xuncao, 2 stalks), Medulla Ovis (Yangsui, 8 zhu), Radix Angelicae Sinensis (Danggui, 1 fen).
Refine Medulla Ovis three times with clear wine. Chop herbs and decoct into ointment. Filter. Insert a size of adzuki bean into the nose, three times daily.
Formula for Yangshi Ointment to treat bamboo/wood splinters in hands/feet causing swelling, lack of pus, and pain:
Pulverize dry sheep dung and sieve. Mix with Suet Porci and apply. The splinter will emerge immediately.
Formula for Shu Ointment to treat scalds penetrating flesh and causing necrosis:
Rhizoma Atractylodis (Shu, 2 liang), Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata (Fuzi, 2 large pieces, processed), Radix Glycyrrhizae (Gancao, 1 liang), Medulla Ovis (Yangzhi, 5 liang), Resina Pini (Songzhi), Egg (Jizi, one large), Suet Porci (Zhuzhi, 5 liang, not water-soaked).
First decoct Suet Porci over low heat, then add Medulla Ovis and other herbs. Decoct into ointment, filter, and apply when solidified, three times daily.
Another Formula:
Cortex Platycladi (Baipi, 4 liang, remove black part), Radix Glycyrrhizae (Gancao, 3 liang, finely cut), Folium Bambusae (Danshuye, 2 liang, cut).
Decoct the three ingredients in 1.2 sheng of pig bile (not contaminated with water) into ointment. Filter and apply, three times daily.
Another Formula:
Semen Cannabis (Mazi, 1 he, take kernel), Cortex Platycladi (Baipi, 1 liang, take white part), Radix Angelicae Dahuricae (Baizhi, 1 liang), Cortex Salicis Recens (Sheng Liupi, 1 liang, remove white layer).
Chop the four ingredients. Decoct with 1 sheng of fat into ointment. Filter and apply when solidified, three times daily.
Formula for Luru Ointment to treat furuncles, carbuncles, tinea, and malignant sores:
Radix Rubiae Cordifoliae (Luru, 3 liang, those coated with lac), Realgar (Xionghuang), Orpiment (Cihuang, powdered) (each 1 liang), Cinnabar (Dansha, 1 liang, ground), Disordered Hair (Luanniao, 0.5 liang, washed).
Pulverize and sieve the five ingredients. First decoct hair in 2.5 sheng of Suet Porci until dissolved. Add other herbs and decoct over low heat. Do not let chickens, cats, or dogs see it. Apply 3-4 times daily.
Formula for Xionghuang Ointment to treat breast abscesses in women:
Realgar (Xionghuang), Radix Ampelopsis (Bailian), Realgar (Xionghuang), Radix Rubiae Cordifoliae (Luru, lac-coated) (each 1 liang), Disordered Hair (Luanniao, one ball, egg-sized).
Pulverize and sieve each ingredient separately. First decoct hair in 2 sheng of pig fat (not water-contaminated) until dissolved. Add other herbs and decoct over low heat. Apply when solidified, 3-4 times daily.
Formula for Shexiang Ointment to treat various malignant sores:
Moschus (Shexiang), Lengshi, Realgar (Xionghuang), Cinnabar (Dansha) (each 5 fen).
Grind the four ingredients into fine powder. Mix with December pig fat in appropriate amounts. Before application, wash the wound with warm Radix et Rhizoma Rhei decoction, dry, then apply ointment.
Smoke fumigation method with Cow Dung for head sores, malignant sores, and bone carbuncles:
Cut the bottom off a bitter gourd (Hu) to create a tube. Burn cow dung on the ground. Place the open-ended gourd over the dung to channel the smoke. Fumigate the sore with the smoke until it stops naturally. Repeat three times for removal.
Li Wu Miebcan Ointment (Six-Ingredient Scar Removal Ointment):
White fish found in clothes (Yizhong Baiyu), Chicken excrement (Jishi), White hawk feces (Bai Yingfen), Radix Paeoniae Alba (Baishaoyao), Radix Ampelopsis (Bailian), White bee (Baifeng).
Pulverize the herbs. Mix with milk and apply to scars, three times daily. Effective.
Scar Removal Formula from "Duan Ju":
Chicken excrement white part (Jishi Bai, 1 liang), Semen Magnoliae (Xinyiren, 4 fen), Rhizoma Typhonii (Baifuzi, 2 fen), Radix Asari (Xixin, 2 fen).
Soak the four ingredients in wine overnight. Decoct with 6 he of Medulla Ovis over low heat (three up-and-down cycles). Filter. Wash scars with Radix Glycyrrhizae decoction before application. Another version adds 1 fen of Cinnamon Twig Heart (Guixin).
Another Formula:
White hawk excrement (Yingshi Bai, 1 liang, ground).
Mix with white honey and apply to scars, three times daily.
