自缺盆中天突穴起,至岐骨际上中庭穴止,折作八寸四分;
自□骭上岐骨际,下至脐心,折作八寸;
自缺盆处的天突穴起,至胸骨下端连接处的中庭穴止,折算为八寸四分;
自胸骨剑突上端的岐骨际,向下至肚脐中心,折算为八寸;

From the lower edge of the hairline to the vertebral bone of the back, the length is 2.5 cun. (This refers to the area from the posterior hairline to the third cervical vertebra where the Dazhui point is located.)
Commentary:
Head longitudinal measurement method: From the anterior hairline to the posterior hairline, it is measured as 1 chi 2 cun.
If the hairline is unclear, measure from the midpoint between the eyebrows straight up, extending backward to the Dazhu bone, and measure it as 1 chi 8 cun; this is called "Zhi Cun" (longitudinal measurement).
Transverse measurement method: The distance from the inner canthus to the outer canthus is considered 1 cun. The transverse and longitudinal measurement standards for the head are based on this.
The Shenting point of the Du Meridian to the Qucha point of the Bladder Meridian, the Qucha point to the Benshen point of the Gallbladder Meridian, and the Benshen point to the Touwei point of the Stomach Meridian,
are each 1.5 cun lateral to the midline. From the Shenting point to the Touwei point, they are each 4.5 cun lateral to the midline.
Text:
From the Adam's apple below to the Quepen point, the middle length is 4 cun. (This refers to the depression above the Jugu bone, which is the location of the Tiantu point.)
From the Quepen point below to the center of the sternum notch, the length is 9 cun.
The circumference of the chest is 4 chi 5 cun.
Between the two nipples, the width is 9.5 cun, (it should be measured as 8 cun for accuracy.)
From the lower part of the xiphoid process to the Tianshu point, the length is 8 cun.
(Tianshu is the name of an acupoint in the Foot-Yangming Stomach Meridian, located beside the umbilicus; here it refers to the level of the umbilicus.)
From the Tianshu point below to the Henggu point, the length is 6.5 cun, and the transverse length of the Henggu bone is 6.5 cun. (The bone below the pubic hair is called the Henggu bone.)
Commentary:
These are ancient measurements. When compared with current upper and lower acupoint methods, there are many discrepancies. It is more appropriate to adopt the subsequent chest and abdomen measurement method.
Text:
Between the two thighs, the width is 6.5 cun. This refers to the position at both ends of the transverse bone in the middle of the two thighs, commonly known as the thigh seam.
Commentary:
Chest and abdomen longitudinal measurement method: The longitudinal measurement is based on the midline of the body.
Starting from the Tiantu point at the Quepen area to the Zhongting point at the junction of the sternum and xiphoid process, it is measured as 8.4 cun;
From the upper end of the xiphoid process (Qigu ji) down to the center of the umbilicus, it is measured as 8 cun;
From the center of the umbilicus down to the Qugu point at the pubic symphysis, it is measured as 5 cun.
The transverse measurement is based on the distance between the two nipples, measured as 8 cun. The transverse and longitudinal measurement standards for the chest and abdomen are all based on this.
