Ganjiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis Preparatum), Renshen (Radix Ginseng) each 1 liang, Banxia (Rhizoma Pinelliae) 2 liang.
The above three ingredients are powdered, mixed with fresh ginger juice to form pills the size of wutong seeds. Take 10 pills per dose with water, three times daily.

There is a mismatch between the formula and the syndrome; it is certain that some text has been lost. No explanation is provided.
Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis), Beimu (Bulbus Fritillariae Cirrhosae), Kushen (Cortex Sophorae Flavescentis) each 4 liang.

During pregnancy, if there is fluid retention, heaviness of the body, difficult urination, chills and shivering, and dizziness upon rising, Kuizi Fuling San (Abelmoschus and Poria Powder) is indicated.
[Annotation]
When fluid retention affects the exterior, edema and chills occur; when fluid accumulates excessively in the muscles and skin, the body feels heavy. When fluid retention affects the interior, urination becomes difficult; excessive fluid obstructs the ascent of yang qi, causing dizziness upon rising. The use of Kuizi (Fructus Abelmoschi Esculenti) and Fuling (Poria) focuses primarily on unblocking orifices and promoting diuresis.
Kuizi (Fructus Abelmoschi Esculenti) 1 sheng, Fuling (Poria) 3 liang.
The above two ingredients are pounded into a powder. Take one fangcun bi (a square-inch measure) with water, three times daily. Recovery occurs when urination becomes smooth.

Women during pregnancy should regularly take Danggui San (Angelica Powder) for maintenance.
[Annotation]
If there is no illness during pregnancy, medication is not necessary. However, if the patient is thin and has internal heat, which may consume blood and harm the fetus, it is advisable to regularly take this formula to stabilize the fetus.
[Collected Notes]
You Yi stated: Heat injury is the greatest concern during pregnancy. Therefore, within the blood-nourishing properties of Xiongqiong (Rhizoma Chuanxiong), Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis), and Shaoyao (Radix Paeoniae Alba), Huangqin (Radix Scutellariae) is used to clear heat, assisted by Baizhu (Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae) to harmonize the stomach.
Zhenheng (Zhu Zhenheng) referred to Huangqin (Radix Scutellariae) and Baizhu (Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae) as the holy medicines for calming the fetus. In fact, these herbs do not directly calm the fetus; rather, by removing damp-heat, the fetus naturally stabilizes.
Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis), Huangqin (Radix Scutellariae), Shaoyao (Radix Paeoniae Alba), Xiongqiong (Rhizoma Chuanxiong) each 1 jin, Baizhu (Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae) half a jin.
The above five ingredients are pounded into a powder. Take one fangcun bi with wine, twice daily. Regular consumption during pregnancy facilitates delivery, prevents fetal distress, and treats various postpartum diseases.

For nourishing the fetus during pregnancy, Baizhu San (Atractylodes Powder) is indicated.
[Annotation]
For pregnant women who are fat, pale, and have cold syndromes, which may harm the fetus, it is advisable to regularly take this formula.
[Collected Notes]
You Yi stated: Fetal damage during pregnancy can be caused by either heat or cold, varying according to the yin and yang of the individual's zang-fu organs. Danggui San is precisely a formula for treating heat. Baizhu San uses Baizhu (Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae) as the sovereign herb to harmonize the stomach, Chuanxiong (Rhizoma Chuanxiong) as the minister herb to regulate blood, Shujiao (Pericarpium Zanthoxyli) as the envoy herb to dispel cold, and Muli (Concha Ostreae) as the assistant herb to calm the fetus; thus, it is precisely a formula for treating cold. Zhang Zhongjing placed them side by side here, revealing profound intentions for future generations.
