痘中气血凝滞者，此方主之。
气贵利而不贵滞，血贵活而不贵凝。木香、川芎，调其气滞。芍药、归尾、紫草、红花、

滑石（水飞） 辰砂（水飞各一钱） 冰片（三厘）
每用冷水调服一钱。
痘证，血热枯涩者，此方主之。
火炎则水干，是故枯涩。用滑石、辰砂导去其热，此灶底抽薪之意。入冰片者，欲其速
达而无壅滞也。
犀角（生者） 牡丹皮 白芍药 生地黄（等分）
诸见血、失血、血热者，此方主之。
心主血，生地黄所以凉心血。肝纳血，白芍药所以和肝血。火能载血，牡丹皮所以去血
中之
白术 茯苓 泽泻（各一钱）
痘而水泡者，此方主之。
中有实热，膈有停水，湿热外行，初则痘色晶亮，顷则痘皆水泡矣。此乃水不能润下，
灶底燃薪，釜中发泡之义。是方也，白术甘而燥，能益土以防水。茯苓甘而淡，能益土以决
防。泽泻咸而润，能润下而利水。水利湿消，泡自瘥矣。
人参 黄 白术 当归 柴胡 升麻 陈皮 甘草
中气虚弱，痘不起胀者，此方主之。
《难经》曰∶气主煦之。故气者，嘘长万物者也。痘不起胀，气之弱也可矣。故用人参、
黄

每次用冷水调服一钱。
痘证中，血热导致干枯涩滞的病症，此方主治。
火炎上则水干涸，因此出现干枯涩滞。使用滑石、辰砂引导去除体内的热邪，这是“釜底抽薪”的意思。加入冰片，是希望药力迅速到达病所而没有壅滞。

心主血脉，生地黄用来凉心血。肝藏血，白芍药用来调和肝血。火能载血，牡丹皮用来清除血……

痘疹出现水泡的病症，此方主治。
体内有实热，膈间有停水，湿热外行，起初痘色晶亮，一会儿痘都变成水泡了。这是水不能润下的表现，如同灶底燃薪，釜中发泡的道理。此方中，白术味甘性燥，能补益脾土以防泛滥。茯苓味甘淡，能补益脾土以决堤防。泽泻味咸而润，能润下利水。水湿得利，水泡自然痊愈。

This formula is indicated for acne variolae presenting as vesicles/blisters.
There is excess Heat within and retained Water in the diaphragm. Damp-Heat moves outward; initially the eruption color is bright and crystal clear, but soon all eruptions become vesicles. This signifies that Water fails to moisten downward, analogous to fuel burning at the bottom of the stove causing bubbles in the pot. In this formula, Baizhu is sweet and drying, benefiting Earth (Spleen) to prevent overflow. Fuling is sweet and bland, benefiting Earth to drain defenses. Zexie is salty and moistening, promoting downward movement and diuresis. When Water and Dampness are drained, the vesicles will naturally heal.
