Cuanzhu (BL2) is located in the depression at the medial end of the eyebrow.
Jingming (BL1) is located slightly above the inner canthus.
Yingxiang (LI20) is located above Heliao (SI19) and beside the nostril (another view states one cun above Heliao).
Suliao (EX-HN27) is located at the apex of the nasal bridge.
Shuigou (GV26) is located below the nasal bridge, at the upper third junction of the philtrum.
Duanduan (GV27) is located at the tip of the upper lip.
Yinjiao (GV28) is located on the mucous membrane of the inner lip, at the frenulum of the upper gum.
Benshen (GB13) is located one and a half cun lateral to Qucha.
Yangbai (GB14) is located one cun above the eyebrow, directly opposite the pupil.
Chengqi (ST1) is located 0.7 cun below the pupil when looking straight ahead, directly opposite the pupil; moxibustion is contraindicated.
Sibai (ST2) is located one cun below the eye.
Juliao (ST3) is located eight fen lateral to the nose, directly opposite the pupil.
Heliao (SI19) is located directly below the nostril, five fen lateral to Shuigou.
Dicang (ST4) is located four fen lateral to the corner of the mouth (another view states near the corner of the mouth, about the width of a leek leaf, close to the chin gap).
Chengjiang (CV24) is located anterior to the chin, below the lower lip.
Lianquan (CV23) is located above the laryngeal prominence (Adam's apple), at the root of the tongue, under the mandible.
Touwei (ST8) is located one and a half cun lateral to Benshen at the temporal hairline; moxibustion is contraindicated.
Shangguan (SI19) is located anterior to the ear, on the superior border of the zygomatic arch; locate with the mouth open.
Shangguan (SI19) is located below the acupoint Kerenzhuren (i.e., Shangguan itself), in the depression below the temporal artery anterior to the ear; the point is palpable with the mouth closed but disappears when opened.
Jiache (ST6) is located in the depression at the angle of the mandible, below the ear.
Daying (ST5) is located one and a half cun anterior to the angle of the mandible, in the bony depression where the pulse is palpable.
Sizhukong (TE23) is located in the depression at the lateral end of the eyebrow; moxibustion is contraindicated.
Tongziliao (GB1) is located 0.5 cun lateral to the outer canthus.
Quanliao (SI18) is located in the depression below the zygomatic bone.
Shangxing (GV23) is located on the cranium, directly opposite the center of the nose, one cun into the hairline, in a depression that can hold a bean.
Xinhui (GV22) is located one cun posterior to Shangxing, in a depression.
Qanding (GV21) is located one and a half cun posterior to Xinhui, in a bony depression.
Baihui (GV20) is located one and a half cun posterior to Qanding, at the center of the vertex.
Houding (GV19) is located one and a half cun posterior to Baihui, on the occipital bone.
Qiangjian (GV18) is located one and a half cun posterior to Houding, one and a half cun anterior to Naohu.
Naohu (GV17) is located on the occipital bone, one and a half cun posterior to Qiangjian; moxibustion is contraindicated.
Fengfu (GV16) is located one cun into the hairline, within the depression between the large tendons (nuchal ligament); moxibustion is contraindicated (another view states one cun above Yamen).
Yamen (GV15) is located in the depression at the nape of the neck at the hairline; moxibustion is contraindicated (another view states three cun below Naohu, also known as Yamen).
