For infertility caused by the closure of the Bao Men (Womb Gate), moxibustion is applied to the Guanyuan (Gate of Origin) acupoint for thirty burns, repeated to consolidate the effect.
For unstable pregnancy, or symptoms such as miscarriage with abdominal pain and uterine bleeding, moxibustion is applied to the Bao Men (Womb Gate) acupoint for fifty burns; this point is located two cun to the left of the Guanyuan acupoint. The point on the right side is named Zihu (Child's Door).
Additionally, moxibustion is applied to the Qimen (Military Gate) acupoint, located three cun lateral to the Guanyuan acupoint, fifty burns on each side (as recorded in *Qianjin Fang*, it is one hundred burns).
For sterility due to uterine obstruction preventing conception, moxibustion is applied to the Bao Men (Womb Gate) acupoint for fifty burns.
For sterility accompanied by red and white leukorrhea, moxibustion is applied to the Quanmen (Spring Gate) acupoint for ten burns, repeated. This point is located at Henggu, at the upper border of the genital region. the Shimen (Stone Gate) acupoint is located one cun below the Qihai (Sea of Qi) acupoint. Needling depth is one fen; retain the needle for three breaths. Upon obtaining Deqi (arrival of qi), apply the reducing method. It primarily treats female Qi pain with hardness, postpartum lochia retention leading to mass formation, and metrorrhagia with amenorrhea. Moxibustion is performed daily from fourteen burns up to one hundred burns.
The Guanyuan (Gate of Origin) acupoint is located one cun below the Shimen acupoint. It treats amenorrhea and coldness of the birth canal. Needling depth is eight fen; retain the needle for three breaths, applying a reducing method corresponding to five inhalations. Moxibustion is also effective but less so than needling. Daily moxibustion up to one hundred burns is recommended.
For metrorrhagia and leukorrhea, often caused by postpartum lochia retention, the Zhongji (Central Pole) acupoint is used. Located one cun below the Guanyuan acupoint, it is the most important point for treating female amenorrhea. After four needle treatments, conception may occur. If not, re-needle to a depth of eight fen, retain for ten breaths, and upon obtaining Deqi, apply the reducing method. Moxibustion is also effective but less so than needling. Daily moxibustion from twenty-one burns up to three hundred burns is recommended.
For white metrorrhagia, moxibustion is applied to the transverse crease of the lower abdomen, directly below the umbilicus, for one hundred burns.
Additionally, moxibustion is applied three cun above the medial malleolus, one hundred burns on each side.
For leukorrhea, moxibustion is applied to the Jianshi (Intertending Vessel) acupoint for thirty burns. Additionally, for strangury, reddish urine, urethral pain, and subumbilical masses resembling an inverted cup—caused by dietary issues or postpartum conditions leading to retained lochia and forming hernia-like masses (Shenjia)—or for menstrual irregularities causing blood clots, needling is performed as described above.
For female urinary incontinence with involuntary leakage, moxibustion is applied to the Henggu (Transverse Bone) acupoint, seven burns at the genital opening.

Moxibustion is applied to the Siman (Four Fullnesses) acupoints, located one cun on either side of the Dantian (Elixir Field), treating menstrual difficulties, upward and downward flow of stagnant blood, and infertility. Thirty burns are applied. The Dantian acupoint is located two cun below the umbilicus.
For uterine prolapse, moxibustion is applied to the center of the umbilicus for two hundred burns.
For watery diarrhea and dysentery, moxibustion is applied to the Qihai (Sea of Qi) acupoint for one hundred burns, repeated three times.
For uterine prolapse, moxibustion is applied to the Shenjiao (Body Intersection) acupoint for fifty burns, repeated three times; this point is located in the transverse crease below the umbilicus.
Additionally, moxibustion is applied to the spinal point directly opposite the umbilicus for fifty burns.
Additionally, moxibustion is applied to the Yuquan (Jade Spring) acupoint for fifty burns, repeated three times.
Additionally, moxibustion is applied to the Longmen (Dragon Gate) acupoint for twenty burns, repeated three times; this point is located at the superior external landmark of the vaginal orifice.

**Method for Female Lactation Insufficiency:**
First, needle the lateral side of the little fingers near the nail bed to a depth of one fen on both hands. Needle the Yimen (Axillary Gate) acupoint to a depth of three fen on both hands. Needle the Tianjing (Heavenly Pool) acupoint to a depth of six fen on both hands. To test efficacy, needle one finger first to verify; this method is miraculous and traditionally kept secret.
For breech presentation with feet emerging first, needle the Foot Taiyin Splein meridian point to a depth of three fen. Withdraw the needle only after the foot has entered. This point is located in the depression behind the medial malleolus at the junction of white and red skin.
For transverse presentation with hand emerging first, needle the Taichong acupoint to a depth of three fen. Apply urgent tonification for one hundred breaths. The location is one cun distal to the odd bone of the foot toes.
For retained placenta, needle the Foot Taiyang Bladder meridian point to a depth of four cun, located in the depression one cun posterior and inferior to the lateral malleolus.
Additionally, needle the Foot Yangqiao Vessel point to a depth of three fen, located at the junction of white and red skin below the lateral malleolus.
For postpartum pulselessness or faint pulse, needle the Hegu acupoint to a depth of three fen and apply urgent tonification. This method also treats fetal Qi rushing to the heart.
For mental restlessness and pain (alternatively described as internal restlessness and pain), needle the Yongquan acupoint to a depth of three fen.
For mental restlessness and pain, needle the Laogong acupoint to a depth of five fen and apply tonification.

For difficult labor, uncontrollable menstruation, and transverse fetal movement, all treat by needling the Sanyinjiao acupoint.
For retained placenta or abdominal accumulations, needle the Baomen acupoint to a depth of one cun, applying tonification followed by reduction. This point is located two cun to the left of the Guanyuan acupoint.
Additionally, needle the Zhangmen acupoint to a depth of one cun and four fen.
For fetal death in utero and difficult labor, all treat by needling the Baomen acupoint.
For fetal restlessness, metrorrhagia with dysentery, and rebellious Qi rising upward, needle the Dantian acupoint to a depth of one cun and four fen, located two cun below the umbilicus.
For any difficult labor, needle both Jianjing acupoints to a depth of one cun and apply reduction; delivery will occur shortly.
For uterine bleeding that cannot be stopped, moxibustion is applied to points three cun lateral to the Guanyuan acupoint, one hundred burns.
For female pain in the yin region radiating to the epigastrium and severe cramping in the lower abdomen, moxibustion is applied to the depression one cun above the lateral edge of the knee.
For female bleeding, dysentery with red and white discharge, and bloody leakage, moxibustion is applied to the Foot Taiyin Splein meridian point for fifty burns, and to the point three cun above the medial malleolus for one hundred burns. This treats five types of cold in the abdomen.
For female red and white leukorrhea and menstrual irregularities, moxibustion is applied to the Jiaoyi acupoint, located five cun above the medial malleolus.
For female bleeding and red/white leakage, moxibustion is applied to the Yingchi acupoint for thirty burns, located in the depressions on both anterior and posterior sides of the medial malleolus, also known as the Yin-Yang point.
For female red and white leukorrhea with soreness and emaciation of the four limbs, moxibustion is applied to the Louyin acupoint for thirty burns, located five fen below the medial malleolus on the slight arterial pulsation.
For female red and white leakage with profuse diarrhea, moxibustion is applied to the Yin-Yang acupoint, with the number of burns corresponding to the patient's age, repeated three times. This point is located under the big toe, in the inner white margin at the flexion line between the interior and exterior aspects.
