主脾气僻弱，不下食，服此以当食方。
大麻子（三升，熬香，末） 大豆黄（末，一升）
上二味，和饮服一合，日四五，任性多少。
主不食，心意冥然，不忆食方。
干姜 干豉 神曲 蜀椒（汗，去目、闭口者） 大麦
上五味，各一升，捣筛为散，食后酒服方寸匕，日三，以食为度。
论曰∶凡人食生冷杂物，或寒时衣薄，当风食不消化，或夜食冷卧，心腹胀满烦急，或
连日不瘥者，烧地令热，以席布上，浓覆取汗，便愈。其地沃水去大热，又坐卧于上一月日
永瘥。凡食过饱，烦闷，但欲卧，腹胀，熬曲末令香，酒服一方寸匕，日五、六服，大麦
益佳。
方法一百二十首
铁屑炒使极热，投酒中饮之，疗贼风痉。又裹以熨腋，疗狐臭，有验。
锻石疗金疮、止血大效，若五月五日采蘩蒌、葛叶、鹿活草、槲叶、芍药、地黄叶、苍
耳、青蒿叶，合捣锻石为团，如鸡卵，曝干末，以疗疮生肌，大神验。
桑薪灰疗黑子疣赘，用煮小豆，下水肿。
青蒿灰烧蒿作之，柃灰烧木叶作之，并堪蚀恶肉。东壁土摩干、湿癣极有效。
茺蔚茎捣敷疔肿，服汁使疔肿毒内消，又下子死腹中，主产后血胀闷，诸毒肿丹油等肿，
取汁如豆滴耳中，主 耳、中虺、蛇毒，敷之良。
莎草根名香附子，大下气，除胸腹中热。
艾主下血、衄血、脓血痢，水煮及丸、散任用。
草蒿生 敷金疮，大止血，生肉，止疼痛，良。
羊桃取根煮，以洗风痒及诸疮肿。
羊蹄主赤白杂痢，又疗蛊毒。
蚤休醋磨，疗痈肿蛇毒。
苎根安胎，贴热丹毒肿；沤苎汁主消渴。
蓖麻叶油涂炙热熨囟上，止衄尤验。
甘焦根捣汁服，主产后血胀闷，敷肿去热毒。
松花名松黄，拂取酒服，轻身，疗病胜皮叶及脂。松取枝烧其上下，承取汁名 ，主牛
马疮疥。柏枝节煮以酿酒，主风痹历节。烧取 ，疗 疥及癞疮良。
牡荆叶主久痢，霍乱转筋，血淋，下部疮湿 。薄脚，主香港脚肿满，其根水煮服，主心
风、头风、肢体诸风，解肌发汗。
槐，八月断大枝，使生嫩叶，煮汁酿酒，疗大风痿痹。
槐耳主五痔，心痛，妇人阴中疮痛，枝炮熨，止蝎毒。
槟榔仁主腹胀，生捣末服，利水谷道；敷疮生肌肉止痛；烧为灰主口吻白疮。
桑椹主消渴，叶水煎取浓汁，除香港脚水肿，利大小肠。
鼠李木皮，主诸疮寒热，毒痹子，采取日干丸，蒸酒渍服二合，日再，通下血及碎肉，
除疝瘕积冷气，大良。
杉材水煮汁，浸捋香港脚满；服之疗心腹胀痛，出恶气。
榉皮煮汁，以疗水及断痢；取嫩叶 贴火烂疮，有效。
荚 煮枝汁，和作粥甚美，以饲小儿杀蛔虫，药子主破血止痢，消肿，除蛊疰蛇毒。
柳木枝及木中虫屑，枝皮主痰热淋，可为吐汤，煮洗风肿痒，煮含主齿痛；木中虫屑可
为浴汤，主风瘙痒瘾疹，大效。
梓口皮主吐逆胃反，去三虫，小儿热疮，身头热烦，蚀疮，汤洗之并封敷；嫩叶主烂疮
枳 苗藤，切，以酒浸服，或以酿酒，去风冷症癖。乱发灰疗转胞，小便不通，赤白痢
，哽噎，鼻衄，痈肿，狐尿刺，尸疰下肿，骨痈杂疮。
人乳取首生男乳，疗目赤痛多泪，解独肝牛肉毒，合豉浓汁服之神效；又和雀屎去目赤
肉。
人屎主诸毒，猝恶热黄，闷欲死者，新者最效，须与水和服之。其干者烧之烟绝，水渍
饮汁，伤寒热毒，水渍饮弥善。破疔肿开，以新者封之，一日根烂。
尿主猝血攻心，被打，内有瘀血，煎服一升；又主症积满腹，诸药不瘥者，服之皆下血
片块，二十日即出也；亦主久嗽上气失声；溺 白烧，研末，主紧唇疮；溺坑中竹木主小儿
齿不生，正旦刮涂之即生。
熊胆疗时气热盛，变为黄胆，暑月久痢，疳 心痛注忤。脑疗诸聋，血疗小儿客忤，脂
长发令黑，悦泽人面。酒炼服之瘥风痹。
羊胆疗疳湿时行，热 疽疮，和醋服之良。
羊肺疗渴，止小便数，并小豆叶煮食之。
羊肾合脂为羹，疗劳利甚效，蒜薤食脂一升，疗症瘕。
羊屎煮汤下灌，疗大人小儿腹中诸疾，疳湿，大小便不通。烧之熏鼻，主中恶，心腹刺
痛；熏疮疗诸疮、中毒、痔 等，骨蒸弥良。
羊肝疗肝风虚热，目赤暗无所见，生子肝七枚神效，疗头风眩瘦疾，小儿惊痫。骨疗同
血，主女人中风，血虚闷，产后血晕闷欲绝者，生饮一升即活。牛鼻中木卷，疗小儿痫；草
卷烧之为屑，主小儿鼻下疮；耳中垢主蛇伤恶或毒。脐中毛主小儿久不行。白牛悬蹄主妇人
崩中，漏下赤白。屎主霍乱。屎中豆，主小儿痫，妇人产难。特牛茎，主妇人漏下赤白无子
。乌牛胆，主明目及甘湿，以酿槐子服之。脑主消渴、风眩。齿主小儿惊痫。尿主消渴、黄
疸、水肿、香港脚、小便不通。马毛主小儿惊痫。白马眼主小儿魃母，带之。屎中粟主金疮，
小儿客忤，寒热不能食。绊绳主小儿痫，并煮洗之。
狗骨灰主下痢，生肌，敷马疮；乌狗血主产难横生，血上抢心；下颔骨主小儿诸痫；阴
卵主妇人十二疾，为灰服之；毛主产难；白狗屎主疔疮，水绞汁服，主诸毒不可入口者。
鹿头主消渴；筋主劳损，续绝；骨主虚劳，可为酒主风补虚；髓脂主痈肿死肌，温中，
四肢不随，风头，通腠理；角主猫鬼中恶，心腹疰痛；血主狂犬伤，鼻衄折伤，阴痿补虚，
止腰痛；齿主留血气，鼠 心腹痛。
虎屎主恶疮；眼睛主癫；屎中骨为屑主火疮；牙主丈夫阴疮及疽 ；鼻主癫疾，小儿惊
痫。
狸屎灰主寒热，鬼疟，发无期，度者极验。家狸亦好，一名猫也。
兔皮毛合烧为灰，酒服主产难后衣不出，及余血抢心欲死者。头皮主鬼疰毒瓦斯，在皮中
如针刺者；又主鼠 。膏主耳聋。
骆驼毛蹄甲，主妇人赤白带下，最善。
猪耳中垢，主蛇伤；猪脑主风眩脑鸣及冻疮；血主奔豚，暴气中风，头眩，淋沥；乳汁
主小儿惊痫病；乳头亦同发汗，十二月上亥日取肪脂纳新瓦器中，埋亥地百日，主痈疽；
脂一升着鸡子十四枚，更良。
獭四足皮，主手足肿瘃。
狐肉及肠作 食之，主疥疮久不瘥者；肠主牛疫，烧灰和水灌之。
白鸡距及脑主产难，烧灰酒服之，脑主小儿惊痫。
鹅毛主小儿惊痫极者，又烧灰主噎。
鸭肪主水肿；血主解诸毒；肉主小儿惊痫；头主水肿，通利小便。
雁喉下白毛，疗小儿痫，有效。
鹰屎灰，酒服方寸匕，主恶酒，勿使饮人知。
雀屎以蜜和为丸，饮服主症癖、久痼冷病，或和少干姜服之，大肥悦人。
胡燕卵主水肿，肉出痔虫；越燕屎亦疗痔杀虫，去目翳。
蝙蝠屎灰，酒服方寸匕，主子死腹中；脑主女子面 ，服之令人不忘也。
龟取以酿酒，主大风缓急，四肢拘挛，或久瘫缓不收摄，皆瘥。
鲤鱼骨主阴蚀，哽不出；血主小儿丹肿及疮；皮主丹瘾疹；脑主诸痫；肠主小儿肌疮。
蠡鱼肠及肝，主久败疮中虫；诸鱼灰并主哽噎。
干鳝头主消渴，食不消，去冷气，除痞疹；其穿鱼绳主竹木屑入目不出；穿鲍鱼绳，亦
主眯目，去刺煮汁洗之。
露蜂房、乱发、蛇皮，三味合烧灰，酒服方寸匕，日二。主诸恶疽，附骨痈，根在脏腑
，历节肿出，疔肿恶脉，诸毒皆瘥；又水煮露蜂房一服五合汁，下乳石热毒壅闷，服之小便
中即下石末，大效。水煮洗狐刺疗服之疮上气，赤白痢，尿失禁。
蝉壳主小儿痫，女人生子不出，灰服之主久痢。
蚱蝉主小儿痫，绝不能言。
白僵蚕末之，封疔肿，根当自出，极效。
鳖头烧灰主小儿诸疾；又主产后阴脱下坠，尸疰，心腹痛。
鳗鲡鱼膏疗耳中有虫痛者。
虾蟆脑主明目，疗青盲。
蛇屎疗痔 ，器中养取之；皮灰疗疔肿恶疮、骨疽；蜕皮主身痒， 疥癣等。
蜘蛛疗小儿大腹丁奚，三年不能行者，又主蛇毒、温疟、霍乱，止呕逆。
蚯蚓盐沾为汁，疗耳聋；屎封狂犬伤，毒出犬毛，神效。
蜣螂捣为丸，塞下部，引痔虫出尽永瘥。
蚬壳陈久者，疗反胃及失精。
田中螺壳疗口疰，心腹痛；又主失精，水渍饮汁止渴。
枣叶揩热疖疮，良。
藕主热渴，散血生肌，久服令人心欢。
栗嚼生者涂疮上，疗筋骨断碎，疼痛肿瘀血；其皮名扶，捣为散，蜜和，涂肉令急缩；
毛壳疗火丹毒肿，饲孩儿令齿不生；木白皮水煮汁，主溪毒。
樱桃叶捣敷蛇毒，绞取汁服，防蛇毒内攻。
梅根疗风痹，出土者杀人；梅实利筋脉去痹。
枇杷叶主咳逆，不下食。
火柿主杀毒，疗金疮火疮，主肉止痛；软柿、熟柿解酒热毒，止口干，压胸间热。
乌芋一名慈菇，主百毒，产后血闷，攻心欲死，产难，衣不出，捣汁服一升。
桃胶主下石淋，破血中恶疰忤；花主下恶气，消肿满，利大小肠。
梨削贴汤火疮不烂止，痛易瘥；又主热嗽止渴；叶主霍乱，吐痢不止，煮汁服之。
赤苋主赤痢，又主射工沙虱；马苋一名马齿草，主诸肿 、疣目，捣揩之；饮汁主反胃
诸淋，金疮血流，破血症癖，小儿尤良；用汁洗紧唇面 、马汗、射工毒，涂之瘥。
蔓荆子疗黄胆，利小便，水煮五升，取浓汁服，主症瘕积聚；少饮汁主霍乱心腹胀；末
服主目暗。
白芥子主射工及疰气，发无常处，丸服之，或捣为沫，醋和涂之，随手有验。
苜蓿茎叶∶平；根∶寒，主热病，烦满，目黄赤，小便黄，酒疸，捣取汁服一升，令吐
利即愈。
水蓼主被蛇伤，捣敷之，绞取汁服止，蛇毒入腹心闷者，又水煮渍脚捋之消香港脚肿。
胡葱主诸恶或狐屎刺毒，山溪中沙虱、射工等毒，煮汁浸或捣敷大效。
白 荷根主诸恶疮，杀蛊毒；根心三稻麦芒入目中不出，以汁注目中即出。
鸡苏主吐血、衄血，下气消谷，大效。
苦瓠瓤主水肿石淋，吐呀嗽囊结疰蛊痰饮，或服之过分，令人吐利不止，宜以黍幅灰汁
解之，又煮汁渍阴疗小便不通。
胡麻生嚼涂小儿头疮，及浸淫恶疮，大效。
小豆叶名藿，止小便数，去烦热。
大麦面平胃止渴，消食疗胀。
小麦面止痢平胃，主小儿痫，消食痔。又有女曲黄蒸∶女曲完，小麦为之，一名 ；
黄蒸，磨小麦为之，一名黄衣，并消食止泻痢，下胎破冷血。
粟米泔汁主霍乱，猝热心烦，渴饮数升立瘥；臭泔止消渴良。
米麦 主寒中，除热渴，解烦，消石气，蒸米麦熬靡作之。一名糗也。
白英，鬼目草也，蔓生，叶似王瓜，小长而五桠，实丸若龙葵子，生青熟紫黑，煮汁饮
解劳。地肤子捣绞取汁，主赤白痢，洗眼去热暗，雀盲涩痛，其苗灰主痢亦善。
防风叉头者令人发狂，叉尾者发痼疾，子似胡荽子而大，调调食用之香，而疗风更佳。
石龙刍主疗蛔虫及不消食。
络石生阴湿处，蔓延绕木石侧，冬夏常青，十月子黑而圆，名石龙藤，疗产后血结。
又主蝮蛇疮，绞汁洗之，服汁亦去蛇毒心闷，金疮封之立瘥。
千岁 茎大如碗，汁味甘，子味甘酸似葡萄，其茎主哕逆大善，伤寒后呕哕更良。
天名精，鹿活草也，主破血生肌，止渴利小便，杀三虫，除诸毒、疔疮 痔、金疮内射
，身痒瘾疹不止者，揩之立已。
葛根末主狂犬伤人，并饮其汁，烧葛烧灰，水服方寸匕，止喉痹。
苦参十月采子服如槐子法，久服轻身不老，明目有效。
苍耳三月以后，七月以前刈取，日干为散，夏月水服，冬酒服，主大风癫痫，头风湿痹
，毒在骨髓，日二服，丸服二三十丸，散服一二匕，服满百日，病当出，如 疥，或痒，汁
出，或斑驳甲错，皮起后乃皮落，肌如凝脂，令人省睡，除诸毒螫，杀甘湿 ，久服益气，
耳目聪明，轻身强志，主腰膝中风毒尤良，亦主 狗毒。菅花主衄血、吐血、灸疮。
王荪主金疮，破血，生肌肉，止痛，赤白痢，补虚益气，除香港脚。
爵床疗血胀下气，又主杖疮，汁涂立瘥。
蜀羊泉俗名漆姑，叶主小儿惊。
恶实根主牙齿疼痛，劳疟，脚缓弱，风毒痈疽，咳嗽伤肺，肺痈，疝瘕积血；又主诸风
症瘕冷气；子吞一枚，出痈疽头。
榆仁酱，利大小便；芜荑酱，杀三虫。
凡山中石上草中，多有蛭，食人血入肉中，浸淫起方。
用灸断其道，即瘥。
又方
常以腊月猪脂和盐，涂脚及足指间、足趺上并鞋上，则不着人。
用术法
姜黄生蜀中者真，土蕃诈中国人云∶疗万病一个一段价，买之不可得，后人知是姜黄更
不改将入来。凡姜黄不得嚼，嚼之损齿，疗一切肿，初觉刮取末，和水涂之数度瘥；难产刮
取一个作末，和水服之即生，酒亦得；产后腹中不净，刮取末，水和服之愈。
马胞转剖取末筒吹半大豆许，耳鼻中即通，此药末，盈月孕妇勿令见，好落娠，慎之。
贮姜黄法
以袋盛置白米大小麦中，袋中着少许米，悬干燥处，勿令鸡、犬、女人见之。
造麋鹿二角胶法
二月九月为上时，取新角连台骨者上，细锉，大盆中浸一宿，即淘汰使极净，待澄，去
主治脾气虚弱，食欲不振，服用此方以代替饮食。
大麻子（三升，炒至出香味，研成粉末） 大豆黄卷（研成粉末，一升）
以上两味药，混合后用水送服一合，每天四到五次，根据病情需要适量服用。
主治不想进食，精神恍惚，记不起如何进食。
干姜 干豆豉 神曲 蜀椒（出汗，去除目状突起和闭口者） 大麦
以上五味药，各取一升，捣碎过筛制成散剂，饭后用酒送服一方寸匕，每天三次，以吃饱为度。
论述说：普通人吃了生冷杂物，或者在寒冷时衣服穿得少，迎风进食导致不消化，或者晚上吃冷食睡觉，导致心腹胀满、烦躁急迫，或者连续几天不好的，烧红地面使其发热，铺上席子，厚盖被子发汗，病就好了。待地面水分蒸发散去大热之后，再坐卧在上面一个月，病就永远痊愈了。凡是吃得太饱，感到烦闷，只想睡觉，腹胀，将神曲末炒香，用酒送服一方寸匕，每天五到六次，用大麦更好。
方法一百二十首

桑木柴灰治疗黑痣疣赘，用它煮小豆，可以治疗水肿。
青蒿灰是用烧青蒿制成的，柃木灰是用烧木叶制成的，都可以腐蚀恶肉。东壁土摩擦干燥或湿癣非常有效。
茺蔚茎捣碎外敷疔肿，服用汁液使疔肿毒气内消，又可以排出死胎，主治产后血胀闷痛，各种毒肿丹毒等肿胀，取汁如豆滴入耳中，主治耳聋、中蛇毒，外敷效果好。
莎草根名叫香附子，能强力降气，清除胸腹中的热邪。
艾草主治下血、鼻出血、脓血痢，水煮或制成丸剂、散剂均可使用。
草蒿鲜品外敷金创，能大量止血，生肌，止痛，效果好。
羊桃取根煮水，用来洗涤风痒和各种疮肿。
羊蹄主治赤白杂痢，又治疗蛊毒。
蚤休用醋磨碎，治疗痈肿蛇毒。
苎麻根安胎，贴敷热丹毒肿；沤制的苎麻汁主治消渴症。
蓖麻叶油涂在火上烤热后熨烫囟门，止鼻血尤其灵验。
甘焦根捣汁服用，主治产后血胀闷痛，外敷消肿去热毒。
松花名叫松黄，拂取后用酒送服，能轻身，治病效果胜过皮叶及油脂。松树取枝烧其上下端，承接流下的汁液名叫松脂，主治牛马疮疥。柏树枝节煮水酿酒，主治风痹历节风。烧取柏脂，治疗疥疮及癞疮效果好。
牡荆叶主治久痢，霍乱转筋，血淋，下部疮湿脚气。主治香港脚肿满，其根水煮服用，主治心风、头风、肢体诸风，解肌发汗。
槐树，八月砍断大枝，使其生出嫩叶，煮汁酿酒，治疗大风痿痹。
槐耳主治五痔，心痛，妇人阴中疮痛，枝条炮制后熨烫，止蝎毒。
槟榔仁主治腹胀，生捣末服用，通利水道谷道；外敷疮疡生肌肉止痛；烧成灰主治口吻白疮。
桑椹主治消渴，树叶水煎取浓汁，除香港脚水肿，通利大小肠。
鼠李木皮，主治各种疮寒热，毒痹子，采取后晒干制成丸剂，蒸酒后浸泡服用二合，每天两次，通下瘀血及碎肉，除疝瘕积冷气，效果很好。
杉材水煮汁，浸泡揉搓香港脚满胀；服用治疗心腹胀痛，排出恶气。
榉树皮煮汁，用来治疗水肿及断绝痢疾；取嫩叶贴敷火烂疮，有效。
荚果煮枝汁，调和做成粥很好吃，用来喂养小儿杀蛔虫，药子主治破血止痢，消肿，除蛊疰蛇毒。
柳树枝及木中虫屑，枝皮主治痰热淋证，可作催吐汤，煮水洗治风肿痒，煮水含漱主治齿痛；木中虫屑可作浴汤，主治风瘙痒瘾疹，效果显著。

尿液主治突然血攻心，被打，内有瘀血，煎服一升；又主治症积满腹，各种药无效的，服用后皆下血片块，二十天即可排出；也主治久嗽上气失声；溺坑中竹木烧灰，研末，主治紧唇疮；溺坑中竹木主治小儿牙齿不生，正月初一刮涂即生。
熊胆治疗时气热盛，变为黄疸，暑月久痢，疳积心痛注忤。脑治疗各种聋，血治疗小儿客忤，脂肪使头发变黑，润泽人脸。酒炼服用治愈风痹。
羊胆治疗疳湿时行，热疽疮，混合醋服用好。
羊肺治疗口渴，止小便频数，并和小豆叶煮食。
羊肾合脂肪做羹，治疗劳损效果显著，蒜薤食脂肪一升，治疗症瘕。
羊屎煮汤灌下，治疗大人小儿腹中各种疾病，疳湿，大小便不通。烧之熏鼻，主治中恶，心腹刺痛；熏疮治疗各种疮、中毒、痔疮等，骨蒸效果最好。

粟米泔汁主霍乱，猝热心烦，渴饮数升立瘥；臭泔止消渴良。
米麦糗主寒中，除热渴，解烦，消石气，蒸米麦熬靡作之。一名糗也。
白英，鬼目草也，蔓生，叶似王瓜，小长而五桠，实丸若龙葵子，生青熟紫黑，煮汁饮解劳。地肤子捣绞取汁，主赤白痢，洗眼去热暗，雀盲涩痛，其苗灰主痢亦善。
防风叉头者令人发狂，叉尾者发痼疾，子似胡荽子而大，调调食用之香，而疗风更佳。
石龙刍主疗蛔虫及不消食。
络石生阴湿处，蔓延绕木石侧，冬夏常青，十月子黑而圆，名石龙藤，疗产后血结。
又主蝮蛇疮，绞汁洗之，服汁亦去蛇毒心闷，金疮封之立瘥。
千岁兰茎大如碗，汁味甘，子味甘酸似葡萄，其茎主哕逆大善，伤寒后呕哕更良。
天名精，鹿活草也，主破血生肌，止渴利小便，杀三虫，除诸毒、疔疮痔、金疮内射，身痒瘾疹不止者，揩之立已。
葛根末主狂犬伤人，并饮其汁，烧葛烧灰，水服方寸匕，止喉痹。
苦参十月采子服如槐子法，久服轻身不老，明目有效。
苍耳三月以后，七月以前刈取，日干为散，夏月水服，冬酒服，主大风癫痫，头风湿痹，毒在骨髓，日二服，丸服二三十丸，散服一二匕，服满百日，病当出，如疥，或痒，汁出，或斑驳甲错，皮起后乃皮落，肌如凝脂，令人省睡，除诸毒螫，杀甘湿，久服益气，耳目聪明，轻身强志，主腰膝中风毒尤良，亦主狗毒。菅花主衄血、吐血、灸疮。
王荪主金疮，破血，生肌肉，止痛，赤白痢，补虚益气，除香港脚。
爵床疗血胀下气，又主杖疮，汁涂立瘥。
蜀羊泉俗名漆姑，叶主小儿惊。
恶实根主牙齿疼痛，劳疟，脚缓弱，风毒痈疽，咳嗽伤肺，肺痈，疝瘕积血；又主诸风症瘕冷气；子吞一枚，出痈疽头。
榆仁酱，利大小便；芜荑酱，杀三虫。
凡山中石上草中，多有蛭，食人血入肉中，浸淫起方。
用灸断其道，即瘥。

常以腊月猪脂和盐，涂脚及足指间、足趺上并鞋上，则不着人。
用术法
姜黄生蜀中者真，土蕃诈中国人云∶疗万病一个一段价，买之不可得，后人知是姜黄更不改将入来。凡姜黄不得嚼，嚼之损齿，疗一切肿，初觉刮取末，和水涂之数度瘥；难产刮取一个作末，和水服之即生，酒亦得；产后腹中不净，刮取末，水和服之愈。
马胞转剖取末筒吹半大豆许，耳鼻中即通，此药末，盈月孕妇勿令见，好落娠，慎之。
贮姜黄法
以袋盛置白米大小麦中，袋中着少许米，悬干燥处，勿令鸡、犬、女人见之。

Dried Ginger (Shengjiang), Dried Fermented Soybean (Dan Dou Chi), Medicated Leaven (Shen Qu), Sichuan Pepper (Shu Jiao, processed to remove sweat, eye-like protrusions, and closed seeds), Big Barley (Damai)
Take the above five ingredients, one sheng each, pound and sieve into a powder. After meals, administer one fang cun bi with wine, three times daily, stopping when satiated.
Discussion: When ordinary people consume raw or cold miscellaneous foods, or eat while exposed to wind due to thin clothing in cold weather, leading to indigestion, or eat cold food at night and lie down, resulting in epigastric and abdominal fullness, distension, irritability, and urgency, or if symptoms persist for several days without improvement, heat the ground, lay a mat on it, cover thickly to induce sweating, and the condition will resolve. Water the ground to remove excessive heat, then sit or lie on it for a month for permanent cure. For overeating causing irritability, drowsiness, and abdominal distension, roast Medicated Leaven until fragrant, take one fang cun bi with wine, five to six times daily; Big Barley is preferable.
One Hundred and Twenty Methods

Ash from mugwort (Qinghao Hui) made by burning mugwort, and ash from Eleutherococcus sessiliflorus branches (Ling Hui) made by burning leaves, can both cauterize malignant flesh. Soil from the east wall rubbed dry is highly effective for dry and damp tinea.
Leonurus japonicus stems pounded and applied treat carbuncles; drinking the juice resolves internal toxicity of carbuncles, expels fetal death in the womb, and treats postpartum blood stasis and chest oppression. It treats various toxic swellings and erysipelas. Taking juice like bean drops into the ear treats deafness, viper bites, and snake venom; external application is good.
Cyperi Rhizoma, named Xiang Fu Zi, strongly directs Qi downward and clears heat in the chest and abdomen.
Moxa (Ai Ye) treats lower bleeding, epistaxis, and purulent bloody dysentery; it can be used boiled, as pills, or as powders.
Artemisia annua fresh leaves applied to metal wounds stop bleeding significantly, promote tissue growth, and relieve pain; it is effective.
Alnus root decocted washes wind-itch and various sores and swellings.
Rumex crispus treats bloody and non-bloody dysentery and heals gu poison.
Paris polyphylla ground with vinegar treats abscesses and snake venom.
Boehmeria nivea root calms the fetus and is applied to heat-induced erysipelas swelling; fermented Boehmeria juice treats diabetes mellitus.
Castor oil applied hot to the fontanelle stops epistaxis effectively.
Gan Jiao root pressed for juice treats postpartum blood stasis and chest oppression; applied externally reduces swelling and removes heat toxins.
Pine pollen, named Song Huang, taken with wine lightens the body and treats diseases better than bark, leaves, or resin. Pine resin obtained by burning branches treats cattle and horse scabies. Cypress branch nodes decocted for wine treat wind-bi and joint pain. Burning cypress yields resin which treats scabies and leprosy effectively.
Vitex negundo leaves treat chronic dysentery, cholera with leg cramps, bloody strangury, and damp sores below. They treat Hong Kong foot (gouty arthritis) swelling. Decoction of roots treats heart wind, head wind, and limb winds, releasing the muscle layer and inducing sweating.
Sophora trees: cut large branches in August to encourage tender leaf growth, decoct for wine to treat severe wind-bi and flaccidity.
Sophora tree fungus (Huai Er) treats five types of hemorrhoids, heart pain, and painful sores in the female genitalia. Roasted branches applied as compresses stop scorpion venom effects.
Areca Seed treats abdominal distension; raw powdered form treats water and grain passage obstruction; applied to sores promotes tissue growth and pain relief; ash treats white patches around the mouth.
Mulberry fruit treats diabetes mellitus; concentrated decoction of leaves treats Hong Kong foot edema and promotes urination and bowel movements.
Prunus rhamnoides bark treats sores with chills and fever, toxic bi syndrome. Sun-dried pills steamed in wine, two he doses twice daily, expel blood and broken flesh, remove hernia and mass accumulation of cold qi; it is very good.
