Alternatively, take the previous seven herbs plus half a jin of *Tun Zhi* (Porcine Fat) and one liang of *Feng La* (Beeswax), warm slightly, apply onto cotton paper to make an ointment, and paste it over the abscess or ulcerated broken skin. If it is a injury from beating with a stick, then the amount of *San Qi* must be doubled.
This formula is specifically for treating falls and blows causing fractures of the hands and feet. However, the broken bones must first be carefully aligned and set straight, then fixed with fir wood boards; do not spare the patient's pain. Then administer the following decoction. Healing should occur within at most two doses; a third dose is unnecessary.

Note: Text combines Da Huang and Qing Mu Xiang, likely separate items or typo in source, treated as distinct entities here based on context of other formulas, but listed together in text. Assuming *Da Huang* and *Qing Mu Xiang* are intended, but text says "Da Huang Qing Mu Xiang". I will list them as they appear or split if standard. Given "each 6 fen", it implies multiple items. Let's assume *Da Huang* and *Qing Mu Xiang* are separate items grouped by error or style, but strictly extracting: *Da Huang*, *Qing Mu Xiang*). *Song Zi Ren* (Pini Semen), *Ci Shi* (Magnetitum) each 8 fen, *Bing Lang Zi* (Arecae Semen) 1 qian, *Zhi Shi* (Immature Bitter Orange Fruit, roasted), *Niu Xi* (Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix), *Fu Shen* (Poria cum Radice Pinus), *Gui Xin* (Cinnamomi Ramulus) each 8 fen.
