三神丸（刘州判传） 治泻痢。
南草乌（光圆者用三两，一两烧存性，一两去皮尖，火煨，一两去皮尖，生用）
上为末，水打面糊丸，如绿豆大。每三、五丸或八、九丸，水泻熟水待冷送下。去血，黄连甘草汤下。
白痢，干姜汤下，俱用冷服。忌一切热物，鸡肉鱼胙腥腻等物。
铁门拴（魏进士传） 治赤白痢疾，五种泄泻。
文蛤（炒黄色，一两） 黄丹（二钱） 白矾（半生半枯，三钱）
上为细末，黄蜡一两熔为丸，如绿豆大。每服大人十五丸，小儿五、七丸，茶一钱，姜二钱，煎汤下。
凤凰煎 治休息痢及疳泻日久，不能愈者。
鸡子一枚，打破，用黄蜡一块，如指大，铫内熔，以鸡子拌炒热，空心食之。
一方治噤口痢，并泻。
用烧饼一个，乘热分作两边，将一边纳木鳖子，泥搭脐上，冷则易之。
一方治热痢。

王瓜藤（经霜，晒干，烧存性）
上为末，香油调，纳脐中，立效。
点眼治噤口痢方（李兴湖传）
首胎粪（炙，干，一钱） 雄黄（五分） 胡黄连（四分） 片脑（少许）
上为细末，点两眼大 ，即效。
治小儿久泻、久痢不止，及满口生疮，白烂如泥，疼痛叫哭，诸药不效者。（张魏川传）
巴豆（一个，去壳） 瓜子仁（七个） 烧钱灰（一个）
上共捣一处，如泥，津调贴在两眉间正中，待成泡揭去，即已。
方剂

南草乌（选用光滑圆整的，共三两：其中一两烧至存性，一两去皮去尖端后火煨，一两去皮去尖端生用）
将上述药材研为细末，用水调和面粉制成糊状作为粘合剂，制成如绿豆大小的药丸。每次服用三、五丸或八、九丸，若是水样泄泻，用温水放凉后送服；若便中带血，用黄连甘草汤送服。
若是白痢，用干姜汤送服，均需用冷药液送服。忌食一切热性食物，以及鸡肉、鱼肉等腥腻之物。

文蛤（炒至黄色，一两） 黄丹（二钱） 白矾（一半生用，一半枯矾，三钱）
将上述药材研为极细粉末，用一两黄蜡熔化后与药粉混合制成丸剂，大小如绿豆。成人每次服用十五丸，小儿服用五、七丸，用一钱茶、二钱生姜煎成的汤送服。
凤凰煎 治疗休息痢及疳积泄泻日久不愈者。
鸡蛋一枚，打破，取一块如手指大小的黄蜡，在铫子中熔化，将鸡蛋加入拌炒至热，空腹食用。
另一方治疗噤口痢，并治泄泻。
取烧饼一个，趁热从中间掰开，将木鳖子塞入一边，用泥敷贴于肚脐上，变冷则更换。

王瓜藤（经霜打后晒干，烧至存性）
将上述药材研为细末，用香油调匀，纳入肚脐中，立即见效。
点眼治噤口痢方（由李兴湖传授）
首胎粪（炙干，一钱） 雄黄（五分） 胡黄连（四分） 片脑（少许）
将上述药材研为细末，点涂于两眼内眦大角处，立即见效。
治疗小儿久泻、久痢不止，以及满口生疮，溃烂如泥，疼痛叫哭，诸药无效者。（由张魏川传授）

将上述药物共同捣碎成泥状，用唾液调匀，贴敷在两眉间正中处，待起泡后揭去，病即痊愈。
Formulas
Sanshen Wan (Three-God Pill) [Transmitted by Liu Zhoupan] Treats diarrhea and dysentery.
Nancaowu (Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix) (Select smooth, round roots; total 3 liang: 1 liang calcined to retain its nature, 1 liang peeled and de-embryoned then fire-roasted, 1 liang peeled and de-embryoned used raw.)
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder. Use water-mixed wheat flour paste as a binder to form pills the size of mung beans. Take 3–5 or 8–9 pills per dose. For watery diarrhea, swallow with cooled boiled water; for bloody stools, swallow with Huanglian Gancao Tang (Coptis Glycyrrhiza Decoction).
For white dysentery, swallow with Ganjiang Tang (Dried Ginger Decoction). All doses should be taken cold. Avoid all hot-natured foods, as well as chicken, fish, and other greasy or fishy foods.
Tiemenshuan (Iron Gate Bolt) [Transmitted by Wei Jinshi] Treats red and white dysentery and five types of diarrhea.
Wenge (Clam Shell) (Stir-fried until yellow, 1 liang) Huangdan (Lead Monoxide) (2 qian) Baifan (Alumen) (Half raw, half calcined, 3 qian)
Grind the above ingredients into an extremely fine powder. Melt 1 liang of yellow beeswax and mix with the powder to form pills the size of mung beans. Adults take 15 pills per dose; children take 5–7 pills. Swallow with a decoction made from 1 qian of tea leaves and 2 qian of fresh ginger.
Fenghuang Jian (Phoenix Decoction) Treats intermittent dysentery (xiuxi li) and chronic malnutrition-related diarrhea (gan xie) that has persisted for a long time without resolution.
Take one chicken egg, break it open. Take a piece of beeswax the size of a finger, melt it in a small pot, add the egg yolk/white, stir-fry until hot, and eat on an empty stomach.
Another formula treats jin kou li (dysentery with inability to eat) and diarrhea.
Take one roasted biscuit, split it while hot. Place a Mumiezi (Strychnos nux-vomica seed) on one half, apply mud over the navel, and replace when it cools.
Another formula treats heat dysentery.
Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma), Xi Cha (Fine Tea), Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens) (Equal parts, decoct in water and drink.)
Fengqi Zhili Liangfang (Excellent Formula for Sealing the Navel to Treat Dysentery) [Transmitted by Zhang Xizhai]
Waguateng (Trichosanthes Kirilowii Stem) (After frost, dried, calcined to retain its nature.)
Grind into fine powder, mix with sesame oil, and apply into the navel. Immediate effect.
Dianyan Zhi Jinkou Li Fang (Eye-Dotting Formula for Treating Dysentery with Inability to Eat) [Transmitted by Li Xinghu]
Shoutai Fen (First-born Infant Feces) (Roasted and dried, 1 qian) Xionghuang (Realgar) (5 fen) Huhuanglian (Picrorhizae Rhizoma) (4 fen) Pian Nao (Borneolum Syntheticum) (A small amount)
Grind into fine powder. Dot onto the inner canthi of both eyes. Immediate effect.
Treats pediatric chronic diarrhea and dysentery that do not cease, along with mouth sores covering the entire mouth, ulcerated like mud, causing pain and crying, unresponsive to other medicines. [Transmitted by Zhang Weichuan]
Badou (Crotonis Fructus) (One seed, shelled) Gua Zi Ren (Benincasae Semen) (Seven kernels) Shao Qianhui (Ash from Burned Coins) (Equivalent to one coin)
Pound all ingredients together into a paste. Mix with saliva and apply to the midpoint between the eyebrows. When a blister forms, remove the application. The condition will resolve.
