Raise the snail in water for three days, remove mud, open the operculum, insert Fan (Vitriolum), Dou (Semen Crotonis), and Shexiang (Moschus), tie it shut with thread, and place in a porcelain vessel. It will turn into liquid by the next day. At wugeng time (3-5 AM), apply the liquid to the axillae continuously by hand. Stop applying when there is an urge to defecate. Choose an empty ground beforehand to defecate; passing extremely foul black stool indicates efficacy. Cover the stool with thick soil so no one knows.
