用无杂色的白马粪，放新瓦上，焙干研末，加顶上梅花冰片为末，敷上立愈。

为末，蜜调涂，舌根以白蜜调白蜡稀稠得宜，敷在鸡蛋皮上，口敷数次，三日舌自接住

蛋皮，再用蜜蜡勤敷七日。如跌扑穿断舌心，血出不止，以鹅翎蘸米泔频刷断处，其血
即止，或用瘦猪肉片贴之，仍用蒲黄、杏仁、硼砂少许为末，蜜调成膏，噙化而安。
活蟹（烧灰） 乳香 没药（各二钱）
涂之即生肉，如咬去唇舌，用川乌、草乌为末，摊纸一条，以凉水调合贴之，即不觉痛
，宜预制备急。
醋调百草霜，柴灶内的，敷舌上下数次，效，加盐，用井水调涂更佳。
（这适用于重舌一类的病症）
取蒲黄五钱，煎煮成浓汁并滤去药渣，含在口中多次，效果极佳。
取颜色纯净无杂质的白马粪，放在新瓦片上焙干后研成粉末，加入顶上的梅花冰片研细，外敷患处，立即痊愈。
取蛇床子二两，在罐内燃烧产生烟雾，让患者吸入喉中，肿胀自消。
（凡是有人偶然将刀含在口中，导致舌头切断已下垂但未完全断开者，用鸡蛋内的内膜包裹住断舌，另外取）
天花粉三两、赤芍二两、姜黄、白芷各一两，
研成粉末，用蜂蜜调和涂抹；舌根处用白蜂蜜调和白蜡，调至稀稠适宜，敷在鸡蛋内膜上，口中多次涂抹，三天后舌头自然接合，
去掉蛋皮，再用蜂蜜和蜡勤加涂抹七天。如果是跌打损伤导致舌心穿断，出血不止，用鹅毛蘸米泔水频繁刷洗断处，血即可止住，或者用瘦猪肉片贴敷，仍然使用蒲黄、杏仁、少许硼砂研成粉末，蜂蜜调成膏状，含化咽下即可安愈。
取活蟹烧成灰，与乳香、没药各二钱，
混合涂敷，即可长出新肉。如果嘴唇或舌头被咬掉，用川乌、草乌研成粉末，摊在一条纸上，用凉水调和后贴敷，即刻不觉疼痛，应当预先制备以备急救。
取皂角二钱，
在瓦片上焙至发红后研成粉末，用好醋调和敷贴即可痊愈。
用醋调和百草霜（柴灶内的烟炱），敷于舌面上下数次，有效；若加入盐，用井水调和涂抹效果更好。
冰片一分，火硝三分，青黛二分，胆矾二分，僵蚕五分，硼砂三分，
共同研成粉末吹敷。
皂角不拘多少，用新瓦在火上烧至红色，放在地上冷却，研细，让患者用铁钳撑开牙齿，将药末搽在舌上即可复活（指恢复知觉或功能）。
Apply a paste made by mixing Pinelliae Rhizoma Preparatum (Banxia, 半夏) powder with Anseris Oleum (Duck Fat, 鸭油).
(This applies to conditions similar to Chongshe [Double Tongue])
Take Polygoni Orientalis Semen (Puhuang, 蒲黄) five qian. Decoct into a concentrated liquid, filter out the dregs, and hold in the mouth multiple times for excellent effect.
Take pure white horse dung without impurities, dry it on a new tile over heat, grind into powder, add Borneolum Syntheticum (Bingpian, 冰片) from the top grade, and apply externally for immediate cure.
Burn two liang of Cnidii Fructus (Shechuangzi, 蛇床子) in a jar, inhale the smoke into the throat, and the swelling will subside naturally.
(In cases where a person accidentally holds a knife in their mouth, causing the tongue to be severed but hanging而未 detached, wrap the severed part with the inner membrane of an egg white, and additionally take:)
Tinosporae Radix (Tianhuafen, 天花粉) three liang, Paeoniae Rubra Radix (Chishao, 赤芍) two liang, Curcumae Longae Rhizoma (Jianghuang, 姜黄), and Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Baizhi, 白芷) one liang each.
Grind into powder, mix with honey for application. For the base of the tongue, mix Bai Mi (White Honey, 白蜜) with Carnauba Wax (Baicha, 白蜡 - *Note: Traditional context implies beeswax or similar wax, here translated as Wax*) to appropriate consistency, apply onto the egg membrane. Apply multiple times in the mouth; after three days, the tongue will reconnect naturally. Remove the egg membrane, then frequently apply honey and wax mixture for seven days. If the tongue is pierced and severed due to trauma with unceasing bleeding, use goose feathers dipped in rice washing water to frequently brush the wound to stop bleeding. Alternatively, apply slices of lean pork. Continue using Polygoni Orientalis Semen (Puhuang, 蒲黄), Armeniacae Semen Amarum (Xingren, 杏仁), and Borax (Pengsha, 硼砂) ground into powder, mixed with honey into a paste, held in the mouth to dissolve for relief.
Take one live crab, roast until dry, grind into powder, and apply externally to promote tissue regeneration.
Roast live crabs into ash, mix with Frankincense (Ruxiang, 乳香) and Myrrh (Moyao, 没药) two qian each. Apply to regenerate flesh. If lips or tongue are bitten off, use Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata (Chuanwu, 川乌) and Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix (Caowu, 草乌) ground into powder, spread on paper, mix with cool water, and apply. Pain will not be felt. Prepare in advance for emergencies.
Take Gleditsiae Sinensis Fructus (Zaocao, 皂角) two qian.
Roast on a tile until red, grind into powder, mix with good vinegar, and apply for cure.
Mix Baicaoshuang (Soot from cooking stove, 百草霜) with vinegar, apply to upper and lower parts of the tongue several times for effect. Adding salt and mixing with well water for application yields better results.
Coptidis Rhizoma (Chuanlian, 川连), Realgar (Xionghuang, 雄黄) four fen each, Borneolum Syntheticum (Bingpian, 冰片) two fen.
Grind together into powder and insufflate into the lesion.
Borneolum Syntheticum (Bingpian, 冰片) one fen, Natrii Nitras (Huoxiao, 火硝) three fen, Indigo Naturalis (Qingdai, 青黛) two fen, Chalcanthite (Danfan, 胆矾) two fen, Bombyx Batryticatus (Jiangcan, 僵蚕) five fen, Borax (Pengsha, 硼砂) three fen.
Grind together into powder and insufflate.
Gleditsiae Sinensis Fructus (Zaocao, 皂角) as needed. Roast on a new tile over fire until red, place on ground to cool, grind finely. Use iron pincers to open the patient's teeth, and apply the powder to the tongue to restore function/consciousness.
