白萝卜汁，浸砂仁炒干，连浸连炒数次。后将砂仁为末，每服一钱，米汤送下，数服必

陈胡芦瓢三五年者一个，以糯米一斗，作酒待熟。以瓢于炭火上炙热，入酒浸之。如此
三五次，将瓢烧存性，研末，每服三钱，酒下神效。
臭椿树根皮（东行者三钱） 槐角（一钱） 侧柏叶（一钱） 小竹叶（一钱） 地榆
（炒黑，一钱）水煎温服。重者不过三服，即愈。屡验如神。
苦楝子炒黄为末，炼蜜为丸，如梧子大。以十丸添至二十丸，空心米汤服。
用蝉蜕为末，菜油调敷，肛门立收。
治三日或间日疟，二三年不愈者，一服即愈。屡验神方。
当归 半夏（各五钱） 常山（二钱五分） 槟榔（二钱五分） 红枣（半斤，去核）
用好酒一斤，河井水共一斤。将前药并枣煮，用新砂锅煎烂，放屋上露一宿。来日清晨
将药枣温热服之，连枣作几次吃完即愈。忌鸡肉鸡蛋一月勿食。
青蒿（八两） 青皮（二两） 真川贝母（一两五钱） 槟榔（二两） 浓朴（二两） 神
曲（二两） 半夏（二两） 甘草（五钱）
上药共为末。姜汁为丸，绿豆大，朱砂为衣。于未发前三个时辰。每服三钱，姜汤送下，
切忌即用饮食。此药不可经阴人之手。

陈年葫芦瓢（存放三至五年的）一个，用糯米一斗酿酒，待酒酿熟后，将葫芦瓢放在炭火上烤热，倒入酒浸泡。如此重复三到五次，将葫芦瓢烧至保留药性（存性），研磨成粉末，每次服用三钱，用酒送服，效果神奇。
极老的苦苣菜。（阴干一大把）
用水煎煮一大碗，空腹服用即可痊愈。

小苏的根和叶，捣碎取汁，温服一升。

Radish juice is used to soak Amomum fruit (Amomi Fructus), which is then stir-fried until dry. This process of soaking and frying is repeated several times. Finally, the Amomum fruit is ground into powder. Each dose is one qian (approx. 3-5g), taken with rice soup. Several doses will surely lead to a cure.
A Chen-hulu-piao (dried gourd rind) stored for three to five years is taken. One dou (approx. 10 liters) of glutinous rice is brewed into wine. The gourd rind is heated over charcoal fire and soaked in the ripe wine. This is repeated three to five times. The gourd rind is then charred to retain its medicinal properties (burned to preserve efficacy), ground into powder, and each dose is three qian, taken with wine. This yields miraculous effects.
Extremely old bitter lettuce (Ku-Ju-Cai). A large handful dried in the shade is decocted in water to make one large bowl. Taken on an empty stomach, it cures the condition immediately.
Mugwort leaf (Ai Ye) and fresh ginger (Sheng Jiang) are decocted into a concentrated liquid. Three he (approx. 60ml) are taken orally.
Root bark of Toona sinensis (Chou-Chun-Shu-Gen-Pi) from trees growing eastward (three qian), Sophora fruit (Huai Jiao) (one qian), Biota leaf (Ce Bai Ye) (one qian), small bamboo leaf (Xiao Zhu Ye) (one qian), and Sanguisorba root (Di Yu) (charred black, one qian) are decocted in water and taken warm. For severe cases, no more than three doses are needed for a cure. Repeatedly verified as effective as a divine remedy.
Roots and leaves of Xiao-Su are crushed to extract juice, which is taken warm, one sheng (approx. 200ml).
Ji-bing (compressed thistle cake) is burned to ash, mixed with boiling water, and drunk. Two qian are taken. This is miraculously effective. It must not be consumed together with crab.
Chinaberry seeds (Ku-Lian-Zi) are stir-fried until yellow and ground into powder. Honey is refined to form pills the size of Chinese quince seeds (Wu-Zi Da). The dosage starts at ten pills and increases to twenty pills, taken on an empty stomach with rice soup.
Cicada slough (Chan Tui) is ground into powder, mixed with vegetable oil, and applied topically. The prolapsed anus retracts immediately.
This formula treats tertian malaria or intermittent malaria that has persisted for two or three years without cure. One dose leads to immediate recovery. A repeatedly verified divine prescription.
Angelica root (Dang Gui) and Pinellia tuber (Ban Xia) (each five qian), Dichroa root (Chang Shan) (two qian and five fen), Areca seed (Bing Lang) (two qan and five fen), and Red date (Hong Zao) (half a jin, approx. 250g, pitted).
One jin (approx. 500g) of good-quality liquor and one jin of river/well water are used. The aforementioned herbs and dates are boiled together in a new clay pot until soft. The mixture is left to dew-expose on the roof overnight. Early next morning, the medicine and dates are warmed and consumed together, divided into several portions until finished. Chicken and eggs should be avoided for one month.
Artemisia annua (Qing Hao) (eight liang), Green tangerine peel (Qing Pi) (two liang), genuine Fritillaria bulb (Zhen Chuan Bei Mu) (one liang and five qian), Areca seed (Bing Lang) (two liang), Magnolia bark (Hou Po) (two liang), Medicated leaven (Shen Qu) (two liang), Pinellia tuber (Ban Xia) (two liang), and Licorice root (Gan Cao) (five qian).
All herbs are ground into powder. Ginger juice is used to form pills the size of mung beans, coated with Cinnabar (Zhu Sha). Take three qian per dose, three hours before the onset of symptoms, delivered with ginger soup. It is strictly forbidden to eat or drink immediately after taking this medicine. This medicine must not be handled by women.
