Obtain one toad (Bufo bufo gargarizans), preferably a large one. Those with red eyes are toxic and must not be used. When capturing, handle gently to avoid squeezing out the toad venom (Chan Su). Prepare a small-mouthed round bottle, place it on the ground, and slowly drive the toad into it. For a person capable of drinking half a jin (approx. 250g) of alcohol, prepare one jin (approx. 500g) of wine, but the dosage for administration should be halved to half a jin. Seal the bottle mouth with a wooden pin and tightly wrap with paper strips to ensure airtightness. Simmer over low heat. First, weigh the porcelain bottle, wine, and toad together to record the initial weight. Boil until the liquid is reduced by half, then remove from heat. Remove the toad and retain only the clear wine decoction for warm consumption. After ingestion, immediately cover with a cotton quilt to keep warm and induce sweating. If the condition is mild, light movement is permissible; however, do not sit or stand in drafty areas to prevent wind-cold pathogen invasion. If sores are predominantly on the upper body, take with a little congee; if predominantly on the lower body, take on an empty stomach. If one dose does not fully cure the disease, wait three to four days and administer another toad. Complete recovery is assured, and recurrence will not happen for life. This prescription has proven effective repeatedly and must not be neglected.
Grind Gongfen (Refined Lead Oxide) and Songxiang (Pine Rosin) into powder. Mix with Dengzhan You (Lamp Oil) and apply topically to the affected area.
Apply Duan Shui (Water from calcined stone/ash) mixed paste to the lesion. The root cause can be eliminated in one day.
Xia Ku Cao (Prunellae Spica, 1 jin), add twenty bowls of water, boil down to ten bowls. Place in a jar and use the steam to fumigate the painful area; pain stops immediately.
Select soil from the floor mat area inside the bedroom door of a married man. Sieve the soil, mix with Ma You (Sesame Oil), and apply around the periphery of the carbuncle (Ju). Leave a hole the size of a chess piece at the apex. Healing occurs once pus and blood discharge.
Paste Ling Yu Wei (Dinosaur Fish Tail, likely referring to scales or skin from Pangolin) onto the lesion. It will heal without pain. This is a miraculous remedy with repeated verification.
Grind Jiang Huang Mu Zi (Rhizoma Curcumae, specifically the small tubercles on the main rhizome) into powder. Remove the pits from small red dates (Ziziphi Jujubae Fructus), fill the cavity with the powder, tie tightly with silk floss, and insert into the nostril (left for males, right for females). Drink enough alcohol to become intoxicated, cover warmly to induce sweating. Ulcerated lesions will heal naturally; non-ulcerated lesions will resolve internally. This is extremely effective.
For Jia Ju (Ingrown toenail/carbuncle around nail), wash with salt water. Grind Lv Fan (Green Vitriol/Melanterite) into fine powder and apply thickly.
For Rou Guo Zhi (Flesh-wrapping toe), select oysters with thick flesh, grind raw into powder. Take two qian (approx. 6-7g) per dose, decoct with Hong Hua (Carthami Flos) and wine for oral administration, and simultaneously apply externally.
Chi Xiao Dou (Adzuki Bean), soak until soft, pound into powder, mix with water, and apply topically to reduce swelling. Applying to back sores is highly effective.
Treat headache, swelling beside the ear, and unbearable pain in the Taiyang region and cheeks. Mix with vinegar and honey to form a paste. Apply to the affected area, leaving a central hole. Reapply when dry. Cure within two to three applications.
