论曰脉者血之腑，血行脉中，贯于肉理，环周一身，因其肌体外固，经隧内通，乃能流
注，不失其常。若因伤折，内动经络，血行之道，不得宣通，瘀积不散，则为肿为痛，治宜
除去恶瘀，使气血流通，则可以复完也。
治伤折恶血凝滞肿痛。黄 汤方
黄 芍药 生干地黄（焙） 附子（炮裂去皮脐） 当归（切焙） 续断 桂（去粗

上一十味，锉如麻豆，每服三钱匕，水一盏，煎至七分，去滓温服，不拘时候。

上二味，和匀，米醋四升，煮稠瓷器盛，量损处多少涂敷，以绢帛裹之，日再易。

上二味，相和，酒煮稀稠得所，取出乘温涂患处，外封裹之，日再易。
治伤折恶血结滞不散、肿痛。草乌头膏方

上七味，除姜葱别研外，捣罗为末。和匀再研，量患处多少，热酒调为膏涂之，以帛裹

葱（青白俱用去根不切三十茎）
上一味，灰火中煨透，众手乘热，木椎椎碎，裹患处，以软帛缚之，冷即易。
治伤折恶血结滞肿痛。地黄膏方
生地黄（细切三斤） 乌鸡（一只去毛肠肚并足和骨细锉）
上二味，相和，捣一二千杵，量患处多少，摊帛上缚之，日再易。

治伤损腹内瘀血不散，不欲闻人声，胸中气塞，便利出血等。蒲黄散方

上六味，先以熟油入柳白皮商陆根，煎候变色，去滓入诸药，数搅，良久膏成。每用看
肿大小，以故帛或软纸摊贴。
论述说：脉是血液汇聚的府库，血液在脉管中运行，贯穿肌肉纹理，环绕全身。因为肌表外部固密，经脉隧道内部通畅，才能流动灌注，不失常度。如果因跌打损伤，导致内部经络动荡，血液运行的通道不能宣通，瘀血积聚不散，就会形成肿胀和疼痛，治疗应当除去恶性的瘀血，使气血流通，这样就可以恢复痊愈。

川芎、大黄（生用）、桂枝（去除粗皮）、庵闾子、朴硝（各一两）、荷叶（十片烧成灰）。
以上六味药，粗捣筛过，每次服用三钱匕，用水一盏，煎煮至七分，去渣温服，不拘泥于特定时间。
治疗跌打损伤后血瘀不散。虎杖散方
虎杖（锉碎二两）、赤芍药（锉碎一两）。
以上两味药，捣碎过罗成为散剂，每次服用三钱匕。用温酒调服，不拘泥于特定时间。
治疗跌打损伤，瘀血留结不散，出现肿痛。桃仁散方
桃仁（去皮尖，双仁者炒后单独研碎）、大黄（生用）、芒硝（单独研碎，各一两）、桂枝（去除粗皮）、当归（切片焙干，各半两）等八味药。
以上八味药，捣碎过罗成为散剂，每次服用二钱匕。用温酒调服，不拘泥于特定时间。
治疗跌打损伤后恶性瘀血不散，肿痛不消。芍药汤方
赤芍药、黄芪、附子（炮制裂开，去皮和脐）、当归（切片焙干）、续断、桂枝（去除粗皮）、羌活（去除芦头）。
以上八味药，锉碎如麻豆大小，每次服用三钱匕，用水一盏，煎煮至七分，去渣温服，不拘泥于特定时间。

大黄（生用）、桂枝（去除粗皮）、桃仁（去皮尖，双仁者炒，各半两）。
以上三味药，粗捣筛过，每次服用三钱匕。用水一盏，煎煮至七分，去渣温服。
治疗跌打损伤后恶性瘀血瘀滞导致的肿痛。涂敷方
生地黄（切片研磨）、藏瓜姜糟、生姜（洗净研磨，各一斤）。
以上三味药，混合研磨，根据患处的大小，随时抄取涂抹，每天更换三次。
治疗跌打损伤后恶性瘀血不散。蚕沙膏方
原蚕沙（二升炒后研碎）、麦麸（三升）。
以上两味药，混合均匀，用米醋四升，煮至浓稠，盛放在瓷器中，根据损伤处的大小涂抹，用绢帛包裹，每天更换两次。
治疗跌打损伤后恶性瘀血不散、疼痛。糟米涂方
酒糟（二斤）、糯米（半升）。
以上两味药，混合在一起，用酒煮至稀稠适宜，取出趁热涂抹患处，外面封裹起来，每天更换两次。
治疗跌打损伤后恶性瘀血结滞不散、肿痛。草乌头膏方
草乌头、细辛（去除苗叶）、蛇床子、独活（去除芦头）、吴茱萸（各半两）、葱白（切碎研磨二十茎）。
以上七味药，除姜葱外分别研碎，混合均匀再研磨，根据患处大小，用热酒调成膏状涂抹，用布包裹，每天更换两次。
治疗跌打损伤后恶性瘀血不散。煨葱方
葱（青葱白葱都用，不去根，不切，三十茎）。
以上一味药，在灰烬火中煨透，众人用手趁热将其木椎砸碎，包裹患处，用软布绑紧，变冷即更换。
治疗跌打损伤后恶性瘀血结滞肿痛。地黄膏方
生地黄（细切三斤）、乌鸡（一只，去毛、肠肚及脚，连同骨头一起细切）。
以上两味药，混合在一起，捣一千到两千杵，根据患处大小，摊在布上缚扎，每天更换两次。
治疗跌打损伤后恶性瘀血瘀滞不散。外涂膏方
鼠屎（三两烧至存性）、生地黄（半斤切片焙干）。
以上两味药，捣碎过罗成为粉末。用猪脂油调和涂抹患处，每天更换三次。
治疗跌打损伤腹内瘀血不散，不想听到人声，胸中气塞，大小便出血等症状。蒲黄散方
蒲黄（一合）、当归（切片焙干）、桂枝（去除粗皮）、续断、白芷（各一两）、甘草（炙烤锉碎半两）、生干地黄（一两）。
以上七味药，捣碎过罗成为散剂，空腹时用温酒调服一钱匕。每天服用两次。
治疗一切坠落打扑，以及肿毒疼痛。白膏方
柳白皮（切半两）、白蜡（四钱）、铅丹（二钱）、胡粉（三两）、油（四两）、商陆根（切三分）。
以上六味药，先用熟油放入柳白皮和商陆根，煎煮直到变色，去渣后加入其他药物，多次搅拌，久置后膏成就成。每次使用时看肿胀大小，用旧布或软纸摊贴。
Commentary states: The vessels (Mai, 脉) are the residence of blood. Blood circulates within the vessels, penetrating the muscle texture and encircling the entire body. Because the exterior of the muscles is solid and the meridians (Jing Sui, 经隧) are patent internally, the blood can flow and irrigate without deviating from its normal course. If due to trauma, the internal meridians are disturbed, and the pathways for blood circulation cannot be unobstructed, stasis accumulates and does not disperse, resulting in swelling and pain. Treatment should aim to eliminate the evil stasis, allowing Qi and blood to circulate freely, thereby restoring health.

Huangqi (Astragali Radix), Shaoyao (Paeoniae Radix), Sheng Gan Di Huang (Rehmanniae Radix Preparata, baked), Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Preparata, processed until cracked, skin and umbilicus removed), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, sliced and baked), Xuduan (Dipsaci Radix), Gui (Cinnamomi Ramulus, bark removed). Each half liang.
The above ten ingredients are chopped like hemp seeds. Take three qian bi per dose, add one zhan of water, decoct to seven-tenths, remove dregs, and take warm. Do not restrict the time of administration.

Xiong (Chuanxioni Rhizoma), Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, raw), Gui (Cinnamomi Ramulus, bark removed), Anluzi (Artemisiae Argyi Fructus), Puxiao (Natrii Sulfas, each one liang), Heye (Nelumbinis Folium, ten sheets burned to ash).
The above six ingredients are coarsely crushed and sifted. Take three qian bi per dose, add one zhan of water, decoct to seven-tenths, remove dregs, and take warm. Do not restrict the time of administration.
Treat trauma with blood stasis failing to disperse. Huzhang San (Polygoni Cuspidati Rhizoma et Radix Powder) Formula
Huzhang (Polygoni Cuspidati Rhizoma et Radix, chopped two liang), Chi Shaoyao (Paeoniae Radix Rubra, chopped one liang).
The above two ingredients are pounded and sieved into a powder. Take three qian bi per dose. Mix with warm wine and ingest. Do not restrict the time of administration.
Treat trauma with retained blood stasis failing to disperse, causing swelling and pain. Tao Ren San (Persicae Semen Powder) Formula
Tao Ren (Persicae Semen, skin and tip removed, double-kernel ones stir-fried and separately ground), Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, raw), Mangxiao (Natrii Sulfas, separately ground, each one liang), Gui (Cinnamomi Ramulus, bark removed), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, sliced and baked, each half liang). The above eight ingredients are pounded and sieved into a powder. Take two qian bi per dose. Mix with warm wine and ingest. Do not restrict the time of administration.

Chi Shaoyao (Paeoniae Radix Rubra), Huangqi (Astragali Radix), Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Preparata, processed until cracked, skin and umbilicus removed), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, sliced and baked), Xuduan (Dipsaci Radix), Gui (Cinnamomi Ramulus, bark removed), Qianghuo (Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix, rhizome head removed).
The above eight ingredients are chopped like hemp seeds. Take three qian bi per dose, add one zhan of water, decoct to seven-tenths, remove dregs, and take warm. Do not restrict the time of administration.

The above three ingredients are coarsely crushed and sifted. Take three qian bi per dose. Add one zhan of water, decoct to seven-tenths, remove dregs, and take warm.

Sheng Di Huang (Rehmanniae Radix, sliced and ground), Zang Gua Jiang Zao (Fermented Melon Residue with Ginger), Sheng Jiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens, washed and ground, each one jin).
The above three ingredients are mixed and ground. Apply as needed to the affected area, changing three times daily.
Treat trauma with stagnant evil blood failing to disperse. Can Sha Gao (Bombyx Batryticatus Ointment) Formula
Yuan Can Sha (Bombyx Batryticatus, two sheng, stir-fried and ground), Maifu (Triticum Aestivum Bran, three sheng).
The above two ingredients are mixed evenly. Add four sheng of rice vinegar, boil until thick, store in a porcelain vessel. Apply according to the size of the injury, wrap with silk, and change twice daily.

Jiu Zao (Wine Lees, two jin), Nuo Mi (Glutinous Rice, half sheng).
The above two ingredients are mixed and boiled in wine until the consistency is appropriate. Remove and apply warm to the affected area, seal externally, and change twice daily.
Treat trauma with stagnant evil blood accumulation failing to disperse, causing swelling and pain. Cao Wu Tou Gao (Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix Ointment) Formula
Cao Wu Tou (Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix), Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma, seedlings and leaves removed), Shechuangzi (Cnidii Fructus), Duhuo (Angelicae Pubescentis Radix, rhizome head removed), Wuzhuyu (Evodiae Fructus, each half liang), Cong Bai (Allii Fistulosi Bulbus, chopped and ground, twenty stalks).
The above seven ingredients, except ginger and scallion which are separately ground, are pounded and sieved into powder. Mix evenly and grind again. According to the size of the affected area, mix with hot wine to form a paste for application, wrap with cloth, and change twice daily.

Cong (Scallion, both green and white parts, roots intact, uncut, thirty stalks).
The above single ingredient is roasted thoroughly in ash fire. While hot, crush with a wooden pestle by hand, wrap around the affected area, bind with soft cloth, and change when cold.
Treat trauma with stagnant evil blood accumulation causing swelling and pain. Di Huang Gao (Rehmanniae Radix Ointment) Formula
Sheng Di Huang (Rehmanniae Radix, finely cut three jin), Wu Ji (Gallus Gallus Domestica, black-feathered, one whole bird, feathers, intestines, stomach, and feet removed, bones included, finely chopped).
The above two ingredients are mixed and pounded one to two thousand times. Spread on cloth according to the size of the affected area and bind. Change twice daily.

Shu Shi (Mus Sororius Faeces, three liang, burned to retain charred nature), Sheng Di Huang (Rehmanniae Radix, half jin, sliced and baked).
The above two ingredients are pounded and sieved into powder. Mix with pig lard oil and apply to the affected area. Change three times daily.
Treat trauma with intra-abdominal blood stasis failing to disperse, aversion to human voices, chest qi stagnation, bleeding from bowels or urine, etc. Pu Huang San (Typhae Pollen Powder) Formula
Pu Huang (Typhae Pollen, one he), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, sliced and baked), Gui (Cinnamomi Ramulus, bark removed), Xuduan (Dipsaci Radix), Baizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix, each one liang), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, roasted and chopped, half liang), Sheng Gan Di Huang (Rehmanniae Radix Preparata, one liang).
The above seven ingredients are pounded and sieved into a powder. Take one qian bi with warm wine on an empty stomach. Take twice daily.
Treat all falls, blows, and swelling/toxic pain. Bai Gao (White Ointment) Formula
Liu Bai Pi (Salicis Albae Cortex, cut half liang), Bai La (Cera Flava, four qian), Qian Dan (Minii Oxidum, two qian), Hu Fen (Plumbi Carbonas Subbasicus, three liang), You (Oil, four liang), Shanglu Gen (Veratri Nanjing Rhizoma, cut three fen).
The above six ingredients: first add Liu Bai Pi and Shanglu Gen to cooked oil, fry until color changes, remove dregs, then add other medicines. Stir frequently. After a long time, the ointment is ready. Apply according to the size of the swelling using old cloth or soft paper.
