论曰恶刺初得，以蛇虺毒瓦斯，经由草木水泽间，有人染着，忽似刺扎，俄致肿痛，其肉
溃烂，若手足上着，往往指节堕落。土人谙历既多，初觉刺时，以艾灸数壮，十愈七八，灸
弗愈者，宜速以药涂敷之。
治恶刺。龙葵膏方
龙葵根 莨菪子 胡燕窠 独颗蒜 胡荽子 鼠粪 杏仁（汤浸去皮尖双仁 炒） 豉

上八味，用浆水饭相和，烂捣醋调封之，每日一换，经五七次瘥。
治恶刺。葱蒲膏方
葱白（一握） 蒲公草（五两） 豉（一合）
上三味，烂捣涂疮上，用醋面纸封贴，头出即瘥。

上用雄野狐唇，烂捣和盐封之。

上用苍耳捣汁洗之。

上取木中虫和醋研，封之。

上用无心草根，烂捣醋和，封之。
治恶刺。蔓荆牛乳敷方
上五月五日，收蔓荆子，旋捣末，以乌牛乳和调敷之，人乳亦得。

上浓煮黑豆汁渍之。

论述说：恶刺（一种由蛇蝎毒气引起的急性肿痛溃烂病症）初发时，多因经过草木水泽之间，沾染了蛇虺的毒瓦斯所致。患者突然感到像被针刺扎一样，随即导致局部红肿疼痛，肌肉溃烂。如果发生在手足上，往往会导致指节脱落坏死。当地居民经验丰富，刚觉得被刺伤时，用艾灸治疗几壮，十个人能治好七八个；如果艾灸无效，应当迅速用药膏涂抹敷贴。
治疗恶刺的龙葵膏方：
龙葵根、莨菪子、胡燕窠（燕子巢土）、独颗蒜、胡荽子、鼠粪、杏仁（用热水浸泡后去皮尖及双仁，炒制）、豉（淡豆豉）。
以上八味药，用浆水和饭混合，捣烂后用醋调匀封敷患处，每天更换一次，经过五到七次即可痊愈。
治疗恶刺的葱蒲膏方：
葱白（一把）、蒲公草（蒲公英，五两）、豉（一合）。
以上三味药，捣烂后涂在疮口上，用醋和面纸封贴，脓头排出后即可痊愈。
治疗恶刺的无心草涂方：
取无心草根，捣烂后用醋调和，封敷患处。
治疗恶刺的蔓荆牛乳敷方：
在五月五日这天，采集蔓荆子，随即捣成粉末，用黑牛奶调和敷贴，人乳也可以。
治疗恶刺的苦瓠浸方：
苦瓠（一个）。
切开开口，放入童子的尿液，煮沸二三次，浸泡患处。
又一方：
取白马的尿，温热后浸泡患处。
又一方：
取黑色公驴的尿浸泡患处。
Commentary states: When "Eci" (a condition of acute swelling, pain, and ulceration caused by venomous gas from snakes or scorpions) first occurs, it is often contracted while passing through areas with grass, trees, water, or marshes, where one is exposed to the toxic vapors of snakes and vipers. The patient suddenly feels as if pricked by a needle, quickly leading to redness, swelling, and pain, with muscle tissue becoming ulcerated. If this occurs on the hands or feet, it often results in the necrosis and separation of finger or toe joints. Local people, having extensive experience, apply moxibustion for several moxa cones immediately upon feeling the sting; eight out of ten cases are cured this way. For those not cured by moxibustion, medicinal paste should be applied promptly.
Formula for Longkui Paste to Treat Eci:
Longkui Gen (Root of Solanum nigrum), Langdang Zi (Seed of Datura metel), Hu Yan Ke (Soil from swallow's nest), Du Ke Suan (Single-clove garlic), Huxu Zi (Seed of Coriander sativum), Shu Fen (Mouse feces), Xing Ren (Kernel of Prunus armeniaca, soaked in hot water, skin and tip removed, double-kernel discarded, stir-fried), Chi (Fermented soybean).
The above eight ingredients are mixed with fermented rice water and cooked rice, pounded into a fine paste, adjusted with vinegar, and applied as a seal to the affected area. Change once daily; recovery typically occurs after five to seven applications.
Formula for Congpu Paste to Treat Eci:
Cong Bai (White part of Allium fistulosum, one handful), Pugong Cao (Herb of Taraxacum officinale, five liang), Chi (Fermented soybean, one he).
The above three ingredients are pounded into a paste and applied to the sore. Seal with paper moistened with vinegar and flour paste. Recovery occurs when pus discharges.
Formula for Yehu Paste to Treat Eci:
Take the lip of a male wild fox, pound it thoroughly, mix with salt, and apply as a seal to the affected area.
Wash Formula for Cang'er to Treat Eci:
Pound Cang'er (Fruit of Xanthium sibiricum) to extract juice and wash the affected area.
Paste Formula for Muzhong Chong to Treat Eci:
Obtain insects found within wood, grind them with vinegar, and apply as a seal.
Paste Formula for Wuxin Cao to Treat Eci:
Take the root of Wuxin Cao (likely referring to a specific local herb without heart/central vein), pound thoroughly, mix with vinegar, and apply as a seal.
Manting Cow Milk Compress Formula to Treat Eci:
On the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, collect Manting Zi (Fruit of Vitex agnus-castus), immediately pound into powder, and mix with black cow milk for application. Human milk may also be used.
Infusion Formula for Langdang to Treat Eci:
Boil the roots of Langdang, use the water to soak the affected area, replacing it when it cools down.
Black Bean Juice Soak Formula to Treat Eci:
Concentrated decoction of black beans is used to soak the affected area.
Oat Compress Formula to Treat Eci:
Pound two to three liang of oats and apply as a compress.
Ku Hu Infusion Formula to Treat Eci:
Ku Hu (Bitter gourd or similar cucurbit, one piece).
Make an opening, insert urine from a young boy, boil for two or three times boiling, and soak the affected area.
Another Formula:
Li Ye (Leaf of Prunus salicina), Zao Ye (Leaf of Ziziphus jujuba).
Pound and squeeze these two ingredients to obtain juice, then apply.
Another Formula:
Take urine from a white horse, warm it, and soak the affected area.
Another Formula:
Take urine from a black male donkey and soak the affected area.
