治肿毒痈疽，未溃令内消，已溃令速愈。草乌头散方
上取草乌头末，水调鸡羽扫肿上，有疮者，先以膏药贴定，无令药着人，初涂病患觉冷
如水，疮乃不痛。
治一切痈疽疮疖， 肿未穴，先疏通脏腑。牵牛子散方
牵牛子（二两一半生一半炒） 木香 青橘皮（汤浸去白焙） 陈曲（炒各半两）
上四味，捣罗为散，每服三钱匕，五更初，以生姜茶调下，至天明通转三两行，自止，
后以薤白粥补之。
论述说：治病必须先探求疾病的根本原因，然后才能治疗其表面症状。痈疽等各类疮疡，虽然发作于体表，但根源在于体内的热邪所致。在疾病初期，感觉经络壅塞阻滞，气血郁结不畅，出现疮疡的证候时，此时热气刚刚发作，营气和卫气尚未受到严重阻碍，肌肉尚未肿胀，或者刚有肿胀但尚未溃烂腐坏的时候，特别可以采用内消法来治疗发背痈疽等症，以消除肿毒带来的剧烈痛苦。
【内消散方】
用于治疗发背痈疽、肿毒引起的难以忍受的痛苦。
药材：车螯（取一枚背上紫色光泽浓重的，用黄泥包裹固定，火烧至通红，放冷后去掉泥土，捣碎成粉末）。
用法：以上一味药，取栝蒌一枚打碎，用酒一碗，放入银锅或石锅内，用慢火熬煮至一盏量，滤去药渣，加入腻粉一钱匕，再用酒调匀，晚上服用。以下出如鱼涎样的物质为见效的标志。
【犀角丸方】
用于治疗发背痈肿、肠痈、乳痈以及一切毒肿，起到内消化解毒的作用。
药材：犀角屑（一两半）、升麻、黄芩（去除黑心部分）、大黄（锉碎）炒制、防风（去除叉枝）、人参、当归（切片焙干）、黄芪（锉碎）、藜芦（去除芦头）、黄连（去除须根）、甘草（炙烤）、栀子仁（以上各半两）、巴豆（十二枚，去皮去心，炒制）。
用法：以上十三味药，除巴豆外，捣碎过筛成粉末，加入已研细的巴豆混合均匀，用炼蜜制成梧桐子大小的药丸。每天空腹时，用粥饮送服五丸，以大便通畅为度；若未通畅，可加至七八丸。排出黄色泡沫状恶物即为有效。
【内消散方】
用于治疗疮肿长期不愈合。
药材：皂荚刺皮（一两，研末）、乳香（研细二钱）。
用法：将上述两味药末混合均匀，每次服用二钱匕，用酒一盏，煎至七分满，温服。使毒素在内消散解，或者轻微腹泻即为有效。
【漏芦煮散方】
用于治疗疮疖痈肿，使其内消。
药材：漏芦（去除绵毛）、白蔹、黄芩（去除黑心部分）、麻黄（去除根节）、白薇（洗净）、枳实（麸炒）、升麻、芍药、大黄（锉碎炒制）、甘草（炙烤，以上各一两）。
用法：以上十味药，捣碎过筛成散剂，每次服用二钱匕，用水一盏，煎至七分满，温服。
【花蕊石散方】
用于治疗痈疽初起，尚未化脓，使其内消。
药材：花蕊石（煅烧）、黄蜀葵花、龙骨（去土研细）、乌贼鱼骨（去壳）、栀子仁、草龙胆（去土）、郁金（锉碎）、胡粉、大黄（锉碎，以上各一两）。
用法：以上九味药，捣碎过筛成散剂，根据用量多少，用唾液调成稀膏敷在患处，经常用唾液润湿，每天更换一次。
【乳香散方】
用于治疗各种痈肿初起及火灼导致的乳痈，使其内消。
药材：乳香（半两）、水银粉（一分）、黄柏（一两半）、白芨（一分）、白蔹、铅丹、大黄（以上各一两）。
用法：以上七味药，捣碎过筛成细散，用水调匀后贴敷患处；若有脓液流出时，则干燥撒布药粉。
【疏转枳壳丸方】
用于治疗痈疽发背，一切热毒之气凝结肿胀疼痛，脏腑壅滞。
药材：枳壳（去除瓤，麸炒）、青橘皮（去除白瓤焙干，以上各半两）、牵牛子（一半生用，一半炒制，共三分）、木香（一分）、甘草（炙烤）、大黄（锉碎炒制，以上各一两）、皂荚（不蛀坏的三梃，椎碎后用酒一升浸泡，取汁液，用绢布过滤去渣）。
用法：以上七味药，除皂荚外，其余捣碎过筛成粉末。先用皂荚汁在火上煎成膏状，随即加入药末，揉和制成梧桐子大小的药丸。空腹服用二十丸，用葱茶送下，以大便通畅为度；若未通畅，再服用。
【防风散方】
用于治疗痈疽，使其内消。
药材：防风（去除叉枝）、升麻、白蔹、黄芩（去除黑心部分）、猪苓（去除黑皮）、黄芪（锉碎）、瞿麦穗（以上各一两）、薏苡仁（一两半）、当归（切片焙干）、甘草（炙烤，以上各半两）、人参（三分）、赤小豆（一合，醋炒七遍）。
用法：以上十二味药，捣碎过筛成散剂，每次服用二钱匕，空腹时用温酒调服，早晚各一次。
【升麻汤方】
用于治疗痈肿，使其内消。
药材：升麻、大黄（炒制）、黄芩（去除黑心部分）、当归（切片焙干）、枳壳（去除瓤，麸炒，以上各一两）、甘草（炙烤半两）、芍药（一两半）。
用法：以上七味药，粗捣过筛，每次服用五钱匕，用水二盏，煎至一盏，滤去药渣，空腹温服，早晚各一次。
【木占斯散方】
用于治疗痈疽已成脓水，使其内消。
药材：木占斯、桂（去除粗皮）、人参、细辛（去除苗叶）、败酱、干姜（炮制）、浓朴（去除粗皮，生姜汁炙烤）、防风（去除叉枝）、桔梗（锉碎炒制）、甘草（炙烤，以上各一两）。
用法：以上十味药，捣碎过筛成散剂，每次服用三钱匕，用温酒调服，饭前服用。若脓未形成，即去掉败酱这一味药。
【木香搭方】
用于治疗痈疽初起，红肿发热生长迅速。
药材：木香、犀角屑、大黄、升麻、黄芩（去除黑心部分）、栀子仁、黄连（去除须根）、甘草、芒硝、射干、黄柏（去除粗皮炙烤）、紫檀香、羚羊角屑、白蔹（以上各一两）、地黄汁（五合）、麝香（一分，研细加入）。
用法：以上十六味药，切碎，用水二升，煮取一升。用两层旧布蘸取药汤，敷搭在肿胀处，干了就再次蘸药敷搭，日夜重复数百次。
【草乌头散方】
用于治疗肿毒痈疽，未溃破者使其内消，已溃破者使其快速愈合。
用法：取草乌头的粉末，用水调匀，用鸡羽扫在肿胀处。若有疮口，先贴上膏药固定，不要让药物直接接触皮肤。初次涂抹时，患者感觉冷如水，疮口便不再疼痛。
【牵牛子散方】
用于治疗一切痈疽疮疖，红肿尚未破溃时，先疏通脏腑。
药材：牵牛子（二两半，一半生用，一半炒制）、木香、青橘皮（汤浸去白瓤焙干）、陈曲（炒制，以上各半两）。
用法：以上四味药，捣碎过筛成散剂，每次服用三钱匕，在五更初（凌晨3-5点），用生姜茶调服。直到天亮通利排便两三行，自然停止，之后用薤白粥来补养身体。
It is stated: In treating diseases, one must first seek the root cause before addressing the symptoms. Carbuncles and sores (Carbuncle and sore), although manifesting externally, originate from internal heat (internal heat). [Neixiao San Formula]
Indicated for back carbuncles and sores, where swelling and toxicity cause unbearable pain.
Ingredients: Chela (a type of clam shell; take one with a thick purple luster on the back, wrap in yellow clay, fire until red-hot, cool, remove clay, and grind into powder).
Administration: Take the above single ingredient, crush one Trichosanthes fruit (Trichosanthes fruit), use one bowl of wine, place in a silver or stone pot, simmer slowly over low heat until reduced to one cup, filter out the dregs, add one Qianbi of Calomel (Calomel), mix well with wine, and take in the evening. The expulsion of substance resembling fish mucus indicates efficacy.
[Xijiao Wan Formula]
Indicated for back carbuncle swelling, intestinal abscesses (intestinal abscess), breast abscesses (breast abscess), and all types of toxic swellings, to internally resolve and detoxify.
Ingredients: Rhinoceros horn chips (1.5 Liang), Cimicifuga rhizome (Cimicifuga rhizome), Scutellaria root (Scutellaria root) (remove black heart), Rheum palmatum root (Rhubarb root) (chopped) stir-fried, Saposhnikovia root (Saposhnikovia root) (remove forked parts), Ginseng root (Ginseng root), Angelica sinensis root (Angelica sinensis root) (sliced and dried), Astragalus membranaceus root (Astragalus root) (chopped), Veratrum nigrum rhizome (Veratrum rhizome) (remove rhizome head), Coptis chinensis rhizome (Coptis rhizome) (remove roots), Glycyrrhiza uralensis root (Licorice root) (roasted), Gardenia jasminoides seed (Gardenia seed) (each 0.5 Liang), Croton tiglium seed (Croton seed) (12 seeds, peel and remove heart, stir-fry).
Administration: For the above thirteen ingredients, except for Croton seed, grind and sieve into powder. Mix with the finely ground Croton seed evenly. Form pills using refined honey, sized like paulownia seeds. Take five pills daily on an empty stomach with gruel drink. Adjust dosage based on bowel movement; if no movement, increase to seven or eight pills. Expulsion of yellow foam and foul matter indicates efficacy.
[Neixiao San Formula]
Indicated for chronic non-healing sores and swellings.
Ingredients: Gleditsia sinensis thorn bark (1 Liang, powdered), Frankincense resin (Frankincense) (ground, 2 Qian).
Administration: Mix the powders of the above two ingredients evenly. Take 2 Qianbi per dose, decoct with one cup of wine until reduced to 70%, and take warm. Internal resolution of toxicity or mild diarrhea indicates efficacy.
[Loulu Zhusan Formula]
Indicated for furuncles, boils, and carbuncles, to promote internal resolution.
Ingredients: Euphorbia fischeriana root (Euphorbia root) (remove cottony fibers), Akebia trifoliata stem (Akebia stem), Scutellaria root (Scutellaria root) (remove black heart), Ephedrae Herba (Mahuang, 麻黄) (remove roots and joints), Cynanchum atratum root (Cynanchum root) (wash), Immature bitter orange fruit (Immature bitter orange fruit) (bran-fried), Cimicifuga rhizome (Cimicifuga rhizome), Paeonia lactiflora root (Paeonia root), Rheum palmatum root (Rhubarb root) (chopped and stir-fried), Glycyrrhiza uralensis root (Licorice root) (roasted, each 1 Liang).
Administration: Grind and sieve the above ten ingredients into powder. Take 2 Qianbi per dose, decoct with one cup of water until reduced to 70%, and take warm.
[Huaruishi San Formula]
Indicated for early-stage carbuncles and sores before suppuration, to promote internal resolution.
Ingredients: Huaruishi (Flower porphyry rock) (calcined), Hibiscus mutabilis flower, Fossilized bone (Fossilized bone) (remove earth and grind), Sepia ezoensis cuttlebone (Cuttlebone) (remove shell), Gardenia jasminoides seed (Gardenia seed), Gentiana scabra root (Gentiana root) (remove earth), Curcuma wenyujin rhizome (Curcuma rhizome) (chopped), Lead subcarbonate (Lead carbonate) (Huafen), Rheum palmatum root (Rhubarb root) (chopped, each 1 Liang).
Administration: Grind and sieve the above nine ingredients into powder. Mix with saliva to form a thin paste according to the required amount. Apply to the affected area, frequently moisten with saliva, and change once daily.
[Ruxiang San Formula]
Indicated for early-stage various swellings and carbuncles, and breast abscesses caused by fire burns, to promote internal resolution.
Ingredients: Frankincense resin (Frankincense) (0.5 Liang), Mercury chloride (Mercury chloride) (1 Fen), Phellodendron amurense bark (Phellodendron bark) (1.5 Liang), Bletilla striata tuber (Bletilla tuber) (1 Fen), Akebia trifoliata stem (Akebia stem), Red lead (Red lead), Rheum palmatum root (Rhubarb root) (each 1 Liang).
Administration: Grind and sieve the above seven ingredients into fine powder. Mix with water and apply as a plaster. When pus appears, sprinkle the dry powder directly.
/Shuzhuan Zhike Wan Formula]
Indicated for back carbuncles, all types of heat-toxic qi causing swelling and pain, and visceral congestion.
Ingredients: Immature bitter orange fruit (Immature bitter orange fruit) (remove pulp, bran-fried), Tangerine reticulata peel (Tangerine peel) (remove white pith, dried, each 0.5 Liang), Pharbitis nil seed (Pharbitis seed) (half raw, half stir-fried, total 3 Fen), Aucklandia root (Aucklandia root) (1 Fen), Glycyrrhiza uralensis root (Licorice root) (roasted), Rheum palmatum root (Rhubarb root) (chopped and stir-fried, each 1 Liang), Gleditsia sinensis pod (Gleditsia pod) (three intact pods, crushed, soaked in one Sheng of wine, extract juice, filter through silk cloth to remove dregs).
Administration: For the above seven ingredients, except Gleditsia pod, grind and sieve into powder. First, boil the Gleditsia juice over fire until it becomes a paste, then add the medicine powder, knead, and form pills sized like paulownia seeds. Take twenty pills on an empty stomach, administered with scallion tea. Stop when bowels move; if not, take again.
[Fangfeng San Formula]
Indicated for carbuncles and sores, to promote internal resolution.
Ingredients: Saposhnikovia root (Saposhnikovia root) (remove forked parts), Cimicifuga rhizome (Cimicifuga rhizome), Akebia trifoliata stem (Akebia stem), Scutellaria root (Scutellaria root) (remove black heart), Polyporus cocos (Polyporus) (remove black skin), Astragalus membranaceus root (Astragalus root) (chopped), Agrostis capillaris spike (Agrostis spike) (each 1 Liang), Coix lacryma-jobi seed (Coix seed) (1.5 Liang), Angelica sinensis root (Angelica sinensis root) (sliced and dried), Glycyrrhiza uralensis root (Licorice root) (roasted, each 0.5 Liang), Ginseng root (Ginseng root) (3 Fen), Adzuki bean (Adzuki bean) (one He, stir-fried seven times in vinegar).
Administration: Grind and sieve the above twelve ingredients into powder. Take 2 Qianbi per dose, administer with warm wine on an empty stomach, and repeat in the evening.
[Shengma Tang Formula]
Indicated for swellings, to promote internal resolution.
Ingredients: Cimicifuga rhizome (Cimicifuga rhizome), Rheum palmatum root (Rhubarb root) (stir-fried), Scutellaria root (Scutellaria root) (remove black heart), Angelica sinensis root (Angelica sinensis root) (sliced and dried), Immature bitter orange fruit (Immature bitter orange fruit) (remove pulp, bran-fried, each 1 Liang), Glycyrrhiza uralensis root (Licorice root) (roasted, 0.5 Liang), Paeonia lactiflora root (Paeonia root) (1.5 Liang).
Administration: Coarsely crush and sieve the above seven ingredients. Take 5 Qianbi per dose, decoct with two cups of water until reduced to one cup, filter out dregs, and take warm on an empty stomach. Repeat in the evening.
[Muzhansi San Formula]
Indicated for carbuncles and sores with formed pus, to promote internal resolution.
Ingredients: Muzhansi (likely referring to a specific herb, possibly *Polygala* or similar contextually), Cinnamon twig (Cinnamon twig) (remove coarse bark), Ginseng root (Ginseng root), Asarum europaeum root (Asarum root) (remove leaves), Patrinia villosa root (Patrinia root), Zingiber officinale rhizome (Dried ginger) (pao-processed), Magnolia officinalis bark (Magnolia bark) (remove coarse bark, process with fresh ginger juice), Saposhnikovia root (Saposhnikovia root) (remove forked parts), Platycodon grandiflorus root (Platycodon root) (chopped and stir-fried), Glycyrrhiza uralensis root (Licorice root) (roasted, each 1 Liang).
Administration: Grind and sieve the above ten ingredients into powder. Take 3 Qianbi per dose, administer with warm wine, before meals. If pus has not yet formed, omit Patrinia villosa root.
[Muxiang Da Formula]
Indicated for early-stage carbuncles and sores with rapid onset of redness, heat, and swelling.
Ingredients: Aucklandia root (Aucklandia root), Rhinoceros horn chips (Rhinoceros horn chips), Rheum palmatum root (Rhubarb root), Cimicifuga rhizome (Cimicifuga rhizome), Scutellaria root (Scutellaria root) (remove black heart), Gardenia jasminoides seed (Gardenia seed), Coptis chinensis rhizome (Coptis rhizome) (remove roots), Glycyrrhiza uralensis root (Licorice root), Mirabilite (Mirabilite), Belamcanda chinensis rhizome (Belamcanda rhizome), Phellodendron amurense bark (Phellodendron bark) (remove coarse bark, roasted), Dalbergia odorifera wood (Dalbergia wood), Antelope horn chips (Antelope horn chips), Akebia trifoliata stem (Akebia stem) (each 1 Liang), Rehmannia glutinosa juice (Rehmannia juice) (5 He), Moschus (Musk) (1 Fen, ground and added).
Administration: Chop the above sixteen ingredients, decoct with two Sheng of water until reduced to one Sheng. Soak a double-layer old cloth in the liquid and apply as a compress to the swollen area. Re-soak and apply repeatedly as it dries, day and night, hundreds of times.
[Caowutou San Formula]
Indicated for toxic swellings and carbuncles, to promote internal resolution if unruptured, and accelerate healing if ruptured.
Administration: Take Caowutou (Aconitum carmichaelii lateral root processed) powder, mix with water, and sweep onto the swollen area with a chicken feather. If there is an open sore, first apply a plaster to fix the area, ensuring the medicine does not touch healthy skin. Upon initial application, the patient should feel cold like water, and the sore will cease to be painful.
[Qianniuzi San Formula]
Indicated for all types of carbuncles, sores, and furuncles with red swelling but no ulceration, to first unblock and regulate the fu-organs.
Ingredients: Pharbitis nil seed (Pharbitis seed) (2.5 Liang, half raw, half stir-fried), Aucklandia root (Aucklandia root), Tangerine reticulata peel (Tangerine peel) (soaked in water, remove white pith, dried), Fermented wheat cake (Fermented wheat cake) (stir-fried, each 0.5 Liang).
Administration: Grind and sieve the above four ingredients into powder. Take 3 Qianbi per dose at dawn (Wugeng), administered with ginger tea. Bowel movements will occur three to four times by morning, then stop naturally. Follow up with a scallion white congee to nourish the body.
