论曰∶心主血，在窍为舌。若心脏蕴热，则血得热而妄行，或溢于心之窍，故有舌上出
血之证，甚者出如涌泉。
治心脏有热，舌上血出如涌泉。升麻汤方。
升麻（锉） 茜根（锉） 小蓟根（锉各一两半） 艾叶（去梗一握） 凝水石（碎三
两）
上五味，粗捣筛。每服三钱匕，水一盏，同煎至七分，入生地黄汁一合，更煎一二沸，
去滓温服。
治心脏热盛，舌上出血。香参丸方。
人参 生蒲黄 麦门冬（去心，焙） 当归（切，焙各半两） 甘草（炙，锉一分） 生
干地
黄（焙一两）
上六味，捣罗为末，炼蜜丸如小弹子大。每服一丸，温水化下，日三四服。
治心经烦热，血妄行，舌上血出不止。寸金散方。
新蒲黄（三钱匕） 新白面（二钱匕） 牛黄（研） 生龙脑（各半钱匕）
上四味，同研极细。生藕汁调下一钱匕，食后临卧服，日二。
治舌上血出不止。阿胶散方。
阿胶（炒燥） 蒲黄 黄 （细锉各一分）
上三味，捣罗为细散。每服一钱匕，生地黄汁调下，并二服。
治心经蕴热，舌上血出，及诸失血。熟艾汤方。
熟艾（用糯米半合炒） 松叶 柏叶（炙各半两）
上三味，粗捣筛。每服三钱匕，水一盏，煎至七分，去滓温服，不拘时候。
治舌上出血，窍如簪孔。紫霜丸方。
紫金沙（即露蜂房顶上实处是，研一两） 芦荟（研二钱） 贝母（去心四钱）
上三味，捣研为末，炼蜜和丸如樱桃大。每服一丸，水七分一盏化开，煎至五分，温服。
吐血、衄血，每服一丸，酒半盏化开服。
治舌上忽然血出不止。圣金散方。
黄药子（一两） 青黛（一分）
上二味，捣研为细散。每服一钱匕。食后新汲水调下，日二服。
治心脏积热，血脉壅盛，舌上血出。郁金散方。
郁金（一两） 当归（切，焙半两）
上二味，捣罗为散。每服一钱匕，煎生姜乌梅汤调下。
治舌上血出。地黄散方。
生干地黄（焙干） 鹿角胶（炒令燥各一两）
上二味，捣罗为散。每服二钱匕，食后糯米饮调下。
治舌上出血不止。阿胶汤方。
阿胶（炒令燥一两捣末） 蒲黄（半两）
上二味，合和匀。每服二钱匕，水一盏，煎至六分，入生地黄汁一合，更煎一二沸，温
服，不拘时候。
治舌上出血。清心散方。
刺蓟（一握）
上一味，研绞取汁。以酒半盏调服。如无生汁，只捣干者为末，冷水调下三钱匕，兼治
大衄。
治心脏热极，舌上出血。黄 散方。
黄 （二两涂蜜，慢火炙焦）
上一味，捣罗为散。每服二钱匕，温糯米饮调下。
论述说：心主宰血液，在官窍中对应于舌。如果心脏蕴藏热邪，那么血液受热后就会妄行，或者从心的窍道溢出，因此出现舌上出血的证候，严重的甚至像泉水涌出一样。
治疗心脏有热，导致舌上出血如泉涌的方剂：升麻汤方。
药材：升麻（切碎）、茜草根（切碎）、小蓟根（切碎，各一两半）、艾叶（去掉梗，一握）、凝水石（打碎，三两）。
以上五味药，粗捣后过筛。每次服用三钱匕，用水一盏，共同煎煮至七分满，加入生地黄汁一合，再煮沸一两次，滤去药渣，温服。
治疗心脏热盛，导致舌上出血的方剂：香参丸方。
药材：人参、生蒲黄、麦门冬（去掉心，焙干）、当归（切片，焙干，各半两）、甘草（炙，切碎，一分）、生干地黄（焙干，一两）。
以上六味药，捣碎过罗成粉末，用炼蜜制成如小弹子大小的丸药。每次服用一丸，用温水化开送下，每天三四次。
治疗心经烦热，血液妄行，导致舌上出血不止的方剂：寸金散方。
药材：新蒲黄（三钱匕）、新白面（二钱匕）、牛黄（研细）、生龙脑（即冰片，各半钱匕）。
以上四味药，共同研磨成极细粉末。用生藕汁调服一钱匕，饭后及睡前服用，每天两次。
治疗舌上出血不止的方剂：阿胶散方。
药材：阿胶（炒至干燥）、蒲黄、黄芩（细切碎，各一分）。
以上三味药，捣碎过罗成细散。每次服用一钱匕，用生地黄汁调服，共服用两次。
治疗心经蕴热，舌上出血，以及各类失血证的方剂：熟艾汤方。
药材：熟艾（用糯米半合同炒）、松叶、柏叶（炙，各半两）。
以上三味药，粗捣后过筛。每次服用三钱匕，用水一盏，煎煮至七分满，滤去药渣，温服，不拘泥于特定时间。
治疗舌上出血，出血孔洞像簪子孔一样的方剂：紫霜丸方。
药材：紫金沙（即露蜂房顶部的坚实部分，研细，一两）、芦荟（研细，二钱）、贝母（去掉心，四钱）。
以上三味药，捣碎研磨成粉末，用炼蜜调和制成如樱桃大小的丸药。每次服用一丸，用七分水一盏化开，煎至五分满，温服。如果是吐血、衄血，用半盏酒化开服下。
治疗舌上忽然出血不止的方剂：圣金散方。
药材：黄药子（一两）、青黛（一分）。
以上两味药，捣碎研磨成细散。每次服用一钱匕。饭后用新汲取的冷水调服，每天两次。
治疗心脏积热，血脉壅盛，导致舌上出血的方剂：郁金散方。
药材：郁金（一两）、当归（切片，焙干，半两）。
以上两味药，捣碎过罗成散。每次服用一钱匕，用煎好的生姜乌梅汤调服。
治疗舌上出血的方剂：地黄散方。
药材：生干地黄（焙干）、鹿角胶（炒至干燥，各一两）。
以上两味药，捣碎过罗成散。每次服用二钱匕，饭后用糯米饮调服。
治疗舌上出血不止的方剂：阿胶汤方。
药材：阿胶（炒至干燥一两，捣成末）、蒲黄（半两）。
以上两味药，混合均匀。每次服用二钱匕，用水一盏，煎煮至六分满，加入生地黄汁一合，再煮沸一两次，温服，不拘泥于特定时间。
治疗舌上出血的方剂：清心散方。
药材：刺蓟（一握）。
以上一味药，研磨并绞取汁液。用半盏酒调服。如果没有鲜汁，只将干品捣成粉末，用冷水调服三钱匕，兼治大衄血。
治疗心脏热极，导致舌上出血的方剂：黄芪散方。
药材：黄芪（二两，涂蜜，慢火炙焦）。
以上一味药，捣碎过罗成散。每次服用二钱匕，用温糯米饮调服。
It is stated: The Heart governs blood, and its orifice is the tongue. If heat accumulates in the Heart, blood, stimulated by heat, will flow recklessly, overflowing from the orifices of the Heart; thus, the syndrome of bleeding from the tongue occurs. In severe cases, the bleeding may resemble a gushing spring.
For treating heat in the Heart causing bleeding from the tongue like a gushing spring: Shengma Tang (Cinnamon Twig Decoction).
Ingredients: Rhizoma Cimicifugae (Shengma, 升麻) [crushed], Radix Rubiae (Qian Gen, 茜根) [crushed], Radix Cirsii Japonici (Xiao Ji Gen, 小蓟根) [crushed, each 1.5 liang], Folium Artemisiae Argyi (Ai Ye, 艾叶) [stalks removed, one handful], Gypsum Fibrosum (Ning Shui Shi, 凝水石) [broken, 3 liang].
The above five herbs are coarsely pounded and sifted. For each dose, take three qian bi (measure), add one zhan of water, decoct together until reduced to seven-tenths, add He Sheng Di Huang Zhi (Fresh Juice of Rehmanniae Radix, 生地黄汁) one he, boil for one or two more boils, strain, and take warm.
For treating excessive heat in the Heart causing bleeding from the tongue: Xiang Shen Wan (Ginseng Pill).
Ingredients: Radix Ginseng (Ren Shen, 人参), Pulvis Pappi Ephedrae (Sheng Pu Huang, 生蒲黄), Fructus Oryzae Sativae (Mai Men Dong, 麦门冬) [heart removed, baked], Radix Angelicae Sinensis (Dang Gui, 当归) [sliced, baked, each half liang], Radix Glycyrrhizae (Gan Cao, 甘草) [roasted, crushed, one fen], Radix Rehmanniae Preparata (Sheng Gan Di Huang, 生干地黄) [baked, 1 liang].
The above six herbs are pounded, sieved into powder, and mixed with refined honey to form pills the size of small marbles. Take one pill per dose, dissolved in warm water, taken three to four times daily.
For treating irritability and heat in the Heart Meridian causing reckless blood flow and continuous bleeding from the tongue: Cun Jin San (Inch Gold Powder).
Ingredients: Pulvis Pappi Ephedrae Xin (Xin Pu Huang, 新蒲黄) [three qian bi], Farina Tritici Aestivae (Bai Mian, 白面) [two qian bi], Calculus Bovis (Niu Huang, 牛黄) [ground], Borax (Sheng Long Nao, 生龙脑) [each half qian bi].
The above four ingredients are ground together into an extremely fine powder. Take one qian bi, mixed with juice of fresh Lotus Root (Sheng Ou Zhi, 生藕汁), taken after meals and before bedtime, twice daily.
For treating continuous bleeding from the tongue: E Jiao San (Colla Corii Asini Powder).
Ingredients: Colla Corii Asini (E Jiao, 阿胶) [stir-fried until dry], Pulvis Pappi Ephedrae (Pu Huang, 蒲黄), Radix Scutellariae (Huang Qin, 黄芩) [finely crushed, each one fen].
The above three herbs are pounded and sieved into a fine powder. Take one qian bi per dose, mixed with juice of Fresh Rehmannia Root (Sheng Di Huang Zhi, 生地黄汁), taken in two doses.
For treating heat accumulation in the Heart Meridian causing bleeding from the tongue and various types of hemorrhage: Shu Ai Tang (Processed Mugwort Decoction).
Ingredients: Folium Artemisiae Argyi Praeparatum (Shu Ai, 熟艾) [stir-fried with half he of glutinous rice], Folium Pinus (Song Ye, 松叶), Folium Cupressi (Bai Ye, 柏叶) [roasted, each half liang].
The above three herbs are coarsely pounded and sifted. Take three qian bi per dose, add one zhan of water, decoct until reduced to seven-tenths, strain, and take warm at any time.
For treating bleeding from the tongue where the orifice resembles a needle hole: Zi Shuang Wan (Purple Frost Pill).
Ingredients: Alveapis Apis (Zi Jin Sha, i.e., the solid part on top of Vespa Velutina nest, ground, 1 liang), Rhizoma Aloe (Lu Hui, 芦荟) [ground, 2 qian], Rhizoma Fritillariae Cirrhosae (Bei Mu, 贝母) [heart removed, 4 qian].
The above three herbs are pounded and ground into powder, mixed with refined honey to form pills the size of cherries. Take one pill per dose, dissolved in seven-tenths of a zhan of water, decoct until reduced to five-tenths, and take warm. For hematemesis or epistaxis, dissolve one pill in half a zhan of wine and take.
For treating sudden continuous bleeding from the tongue: Sheng Jin San (Holy Gold Powder).
Ingredients: Radix Dioscoreae Bulbiferae (Huang Yao Zi, 黄药子) [1 liang], Atramentum Vegetale (Qing Dai, 青黛) [one fen].
The above two herbs are pounded and ground into a fine powder. Take one qian bi per dose. After meals, mix with newly drawn cold water, taken twice daily.
For treating heat accumulation in the Heart, vascular congestion, and bleeding from the tongue: Yu Jin San (Curcuma Powder).
Ingredients: Radix Curcumae Longae (Yu Jin, 郁金) [1 liang], Radix Angelicae Sinensis (Dang Gui, 当归) [sliced, baked, half liang].
The above two herbs are pounded and sieved into powder. Take one qian bi per dose, mixed with decoction of Zingiberis Rhizoma (Sheng Jiang, 生姜) and Fructus Mume (Wu Mei, 乌梅).
For treating bleeding from the tongue: Di Huang San (Rehmannia Powder).
Ingredients: Radix Rehmanniae Preparata (Sheng Gan Di Huang, 生干地黄) [baked dry], Cornu Cervi Colla (Lu Jiao Jiao, 鹿角胶) [stir-fried until dry, each 1 liang].
The above two herbs are pounded and sieved into powder. Take two qian bi per dose, mixed with glutinous rice drink after meals.
For treating continuous bleeding from the tongue: E Jiao Tang (Colla Corii Asini Decoction).
Ingredients: Colla Corii Asini (E Jiao, 阿胶) [stir-fried until dry, 1 liang, pounded into powder], Pulvis Pappi Ephedrae (Pu Huang, 蒲黄) [half liang].
The above two ingredients are mixed evenly. Take two qian bi per dose, add one zhan of water, decoct until reduced to six-tenths, add He Sheng Di Huang Zhi (Fresh Juice of Rehmanniae Radix, 生地黄汁) one he, boil for one or two more boils, and take warm at any time.
For treating bleeding from the tongue: Qing Xin San (Clear Heart Powder).
Ingredients: Herba Cirsii Japonici (Ci Ji, 刺蓟) [one handful].
The above single herb is ground and pressed to extract juice. Take mixed with half a zhan of wine. If fresh juice is unavailable, grind the dried herb into powder, mix with cold water, take three qian bi, which also treats severe epistaxis.
For treating extreme heat in the Heart causing bleeding from the tongue: Huang Qi San (Astragalus Powder).
Ingredients: Radix Astragali Membranacei (Huang Qi, 黄芪) [2 liang, coated with honey, slowly roasted until scorched].
The above single herb is pounded and sieved into powder. Take two qian bi per dose, mixed with warm glutinous rice drink.
