Discussion: When Kidney Qi is deficient, Wind-Cold-Dampness pathogens adhere to the waist region, causing lower back pain. This is because the waist is the mansion of the Kidney; when Wind-Dampness stagnates in the Kidney meridian and cannot be dispersed, it pours into the waist and legs. Consequently, pain occurs upon rising, sitting, walking, or standing. In severe cases, edema may appear, hence this condition is termed Wind-Dampness Lower Back Pain (Fengshi Yao Tong).
