Commentary: The disease of Wind-Phlegm arises from the obstruction of Qi and meridians, and the accumulation of fluid retention. Although its manifestations may differ in terms of cold or heat, they are consistent in presenting with chest and epigastric stuffiness and blockage, as well as the inability to digest food. Generally, wind stagnation leads to Qi stagnation, and dysfunction of the Triple Burner causes fluids to easily accumulate. Wind can generate heat, and stagnation can transform into phlegm. Therefore, symptoms such as unclear vision and hearing, and mental confusion or turbidity may occur. If there is vomiting and regurgitation with an inability to retain food, it is due to stomach cold. Treatment must not be uniform but should be tailored to the specific condition.
