味辛甘，寒、大寒，无毒。主身热，利胃，解烦，益精明目，破积聚，去三虫，除营
中去来大热、结热，解烦毒，止消渴及中风痿痹。滑石为之使。恶∶麻黄。生∶汉中山谷及
庐山。如石膏顺理而细。
味咸，温，无毒。主除风冷邪气湿痹，益精气，妇人痼冷漏下，心腹积聚冷气，
解肌。其色青白，龟背者良。出∶解县。盐精∶味更咸苦，青黑色，大者三、二寸
铧嘴，三月、四月采。亦主除风冷。无毒。又名泥精，盖玄精之类也。及治伤寒。
味甘，平，无毒。主宿血，去目中翳，鼻衄，末吹鼻中。日华子云∶镇心，止惊，
目。《海药》∶按《晋列传》云∶石崇金谷园珊瑚树，交加苑生蕊。味甘，平，无毒
血、风痫等疾。按其主治与金相似也。《唐本》注∶似玉红润，中有孔或无孔。生
波斯国。
无毒。主难产，小儿痫。产妇临产时手持之，亦煮汁服一盏。此马勒口铁也，性平。
华子云∶右铤作医工针也。
味辛，微温。主妇人崩中，吐血，止咳逆，止血，消痈肿、毒瓦斯。《药性论》云∶
亦可。咸，无毒。日华子云∶热，微毒。治鼻洪，肠风，带下，血崩，泄精，尿血，催
胞及小儿夜啼。一云∶治心痛及中风心烦。陶隐居云∶此灶中对釜月下黄土也。
【理石】
味辛、甘，性寒至大寒，无毒。主治身体发热，通利胃气，解除烦闷，补益精气并明亮双目，破除体内积聚之物，驱除三种寄生虫，清除营分中往来剧烈的高热及郁结之热，解除烦毒，止住消渴症以及中风引起的痿痹。以滑石为引经药。禁忌：畏麻黄。产地：产于汉中中山谷及庐山。其形态像石膏一样纹理顺直且质地细腻。
【玄精石（泥精）】
味咸，性温，无毒。主治驱除风冷邪气及湿痹，补益精气，治疗妇人久治不愈的宫冷漏下，心腹部的积聚冷气，解肌表之邪。其颜色青白，龟背状者品质优良。产地：解县。盐精：味道更咸苦，呈青黑色，大的有三四寸长如犁铧嘴形状，三月、四月采集。也主治驱除风冷。无毒。又名泥精，属于玄精类。也可用于治疗伤寒。
【珊瑚】
味甘，性平，无毒。主治宿血，去除眼中翳膜，鼻出血，研末吹入鼻中。日华子说：能镇心安神，止惊悸，明目。《海药本草》记载：按《晋书·列传》所说：石崇金谷园的珊瑚树，在交加苑生长出花蕊。味甘，性平，无毒，治疗血症、风痫等疾病。按其主治功效与金相似。《唐本草》注：像玉一样红润，中间有孔或无孔。产地：波斯国。
【水银（汞）】
味辛，性寒，无毒。主治辟除恶气，熨敷治疗目赤烂眼。产地：西国。
【铁】
无毒。主治难产，小儿癫痫。产妇临产时手持铁器，也可煮汁服用一盏。这是马勒口的铁，性平。日华子说：右边的铁锭可作医工用的针。
【代赭石】
味辛，微温。主治妇人崩中漏下，吐血，止咳逆，止血，消除痈肿和毒瓦斯。《药性论》说：也可以（用于上述病症）。咸味，无毒。日华子说：性热，微毒。治疗鼻出血，肠风，带下，血崩，泄精，尿血，催产及小儿夜啼。另一种说法：治疗心痛及中风心烦。陶隐居说：这是灶膛中对釜月下形成的黄土。
[Lishi]
Taste: Acrid, sweet. Nature: Cold to Great Cold. Toxicity: Non-toxic. Actions: Mainly treats body heat, promotes stomach function, relieves irritability, benefits essence and brightens the eyes, breaks up accumulations, expels three types of parasites, removes severe alternating heat and stagnant heat from the Ying (Nutritive) level, resolves toxic irritability, stops thirst-quenching disease (Xiaoke), and treats flaccidity and bi-syndrome caused by Wind-stroke. Guide herb: Huashi (Talcum). Aversion: Mahuang (Ephedrae Herba). Origin: Produced in Zhongshan Valley, Hanzhong, and Mount Lu. It resembles Shigao (Gypsum Fibrosum) with smooth texture and fine grain.
[Xuanjingshi / Nijing]
Taste: Salty. Nature: Warm. Toxicity: Non-toxic. Actions: Mainly expels Wind-cold pathogenic factors and Damp-bi, benefits essence and Qi, treats persistent cold uterus with leukorrhea in women, cold qi accumulation in the heart and abdomen, and releases the muscle layer. Quality indicator: Those that are greenish-white and have a tortoise-shell back shape are superior. Origin: Jie County. Yanjing: Taste is more salty and bitter, color is greenish-black, large pieces are about 2-3 cun long shaped like a plowshare tip, harvested in March and April. Also mainly expels Wind-cold. Non-toxic. Also known as Nijing, belonging to the category of Xuanjing. Also used to treat Shanghan (Cold Damage).
[Shanhu]
Taste: Sweet. Nature: Neutral. Toxicity: Non-toxic. Actions: Mainly treats retained blood, removes nebula in the eyes, stops epistaxis, and when powdered, is blown into the nose. Ri Hua Zi states: Calms the Heart and spirit, stops惊 (fright), and brightens the eyes. Haiyao Bencao records: According to the "Biographies of Jin", Shi Chong's Coral Tree in the Golden Valley Garden grew corals in Jiaojia Garden. Taste: Sweet. Nature: Neutral. Toxicity: Non-toxic. Treats blood diseases, Wind-epilepsy, etc. Its therapeutic actions are similar to Gold. Tangben Zhu notes: Resembles jade, reddish and lustrous, with or without holes. Origin: Persia.
[Shuiyin]
Taste: Acrid. Nature: Cold. Toxicity: Non-toxic. Actions: Mainly repels evil qi, and is used for hot compresses to treat red and rotting eyes. Origin: Western Regions.
[Tie]
Toxicity: Non-toxic. Actions: Mainly treats difficult labor and pediatric epilepsy. The parturient holds it during delivery, or it can be boiled and one cup of the decoction taken. This is iron from a horse bit, nature is neutral. Ri Hua Zi states: The right ingot can serve as needles for medical practitioners.
[Daihezshi]
Taste: Acrid. Nature: Slightly Warm. Actions: Mainly treats metrorrhagia and uterine bleeding, hematemesis, counterflow cough, stops bleeding, and dissipates carbuncles and toxic vapors. Yaoxing Lun states: Can also be used [for these conditions]. Salty taste, non-toxic. Ri Hua Zi states: Nature is Hot, slightly toxic. Treats epistaxis, intestinal wind, leukorrhea, metrorrhagia, seminal emission, hematuria, induces labor, and pediatric night crying. Another view: Treats heart pain and irritability due to Wind-stroke. Tao Hongjing states: This is yellow earth formed under the pot in the center of the stove.
