Shi Zhu (Corpse Transmission) and Gui Zhu (Ghost Transmission) refer to Shi Zhu among the Five Corpses, compounded by various evil spirits. Their variations number from thirty-six to ninety-nine types. Generally, they cause alternating chills and fever, dripping sensations, lethargy and muteness, inability to identify the source of suffering, and general aversion throughout the body. Over years and months, this leads to stagnation and deterioration, eventually resulting in death. After death, the condition may transmit to others, potentially wiping out an entire family. Upon perceiving such symptoms, immediate treatment is required:
Da Gan (Hydras Liver), one piece, dried in shade, processed and sifted into fine powder. Take one fang cun bi (a square-inch measure) with water, three times daily. If one piece does not cure the condition, prepare another.
