咽门者，肝胆之候，若脏热，咽门则闭而气塞，若腑寒，咽门则破而声嘶。母姜酒主之
方。
母姜汁（二升） 酥 牛髓 油（各一升） 桂心 秦椒（各一两） 防风（一两半） 川
芎
独活（各一两六铢）
上九味末之，纳姜汁中煎，取相淹濡，下髓酥油等，令调，微火，三上三下煎之，平旦
温清酒一升，下二合膏，即细细吞之，日三夜一。
又方 丹参 升麻 雄黄 杏仁 鬼臼 甘草 射干（各一两） 麝香（半两）
上八味末之，以蜜为丸如梧子。饮下一丸，加至五丸，日三。酒服亦佳。咽痛失声不利
，用之良。
治咽伤语声不彻方。
酒（一升） 干姜（二两半末） 酥（一升） 通草 桂心 石菖蒲（各二两末）
上六味合和，服一匕，日三。
又方 酒（一升） 酥（一升） 干姜末（十两
上三味以酒二合，酥一匕，姜末二匕，相和服，日三，食后服之。亦治肺痈。
治哑塞咳嗽方。
桂心（六铢） 杏仁（十八铢）
上二味末之，以蜜丸如杏仁大。含之，细细咽汁，日夜勿绝。
治咽痛，逆气不能食方。
麻子（一升熬令黑）
以酒一升淋取汁，空心一服一升，渐至二升，多汗好覆。勿触风冷。
此方兼理产妇及丈夫中风。如角弓反张、口噤不开，大验，与紫汤气力同。
治猝咽痛方。
悬木枸烧末，水服方寸匕，日三。
又方 烧炊帚一枚，浆水服方寸匕。
治猝风咽肿面肿方。
杏仁末和鸡子黄，更捣敷上，干复易之，七八度。若肿汁出，煮醋和伏龙肝敷，干更易
之。
治猝尸咽方。
烧履鼻绳为灰，暖水服之。
又方 烧麻子脂，服之。
治咽喉不利下气方。
射干 杏仁 人参 附子 桂心（各一两）
上五味末之，蜜丸如指大，含一丸，稍稍咽之，令药味相接。
治咽喉中痛痒，吐之不出，咽之不入，似得虫毒方。
含生姜五十日，瘥。
又方 以青布裹麻黄，烧，以竹筒盛，烟熏咽中。
咽门是反映肝胆状况的部位，如果脏腑有热，咽门就会闭塞且气机阻滞；如果腑脏有寒，咽门就会破损且声音嘶哑。用母姜酒主治。
方剂：
母姜汁（二升） 酥油 牛髓 油脂（各一升） 桂心 秦椒（各一两） 防风（一两半） 川芎 独活（各一两六铢）
以上九味药研成细末，放入姜汁中煎煮，取药液浸濡药材的状态，加入髓、酥、油等，调和均匀，用微火，采用“三上三下”的煎法（即煮沸后离火稍凉再煮沸，反复三次），清晨空腹温服清酒一升，加入二合膏状药液，细细吞咽，每日三次，夜间一次。
另一个方子：丹参 升麻 雄黄 杏仁 鬼臼 甘草 射干（各一两） 麝香（半两）
以上八味药研成细末，用蜂蜜制成梧桐子大小的丸药。每次用水送服一丸，逐渐加至五丸，每日三次。用酒送服也很好。治疗咽喉疼痛、失声不利，使用此方效果良好。
治疗咽喉受伤导致声音不清晰的方子。
酒（一升） 干姜（二两半，研末） 酥油（一升） 通草 桂心 石菖蒲（各二两，研末）
以上六味药混合调和，每次服用一匕的量，每日三次。
另一个方子：酒（一升） 酥油（一升） 干姜末（十两）
以上三味药，每次取酒二合，酥油一匕，姜末二匕，混合后服用，每日三次，饭后服用。也能治疗肺痈。
治疗失音伴咳嗽的方子。
桂心（六铢） 杏仁（十八铢）
以上两味药研成细末，用蜂蜜制成如杏仁大小的丸药。含在口中，细细吞咽药汁，日夜不停。
治疗咽喉疼痛，气逆不能进食的方子。
麻子（一升，炒至黑色）
用酒一升淋浇取汁，空腹服用一升，逐渐增加至二升，服药后多出汗为宜，注意保暖覆盖。不要接触风寒。
此方兼治产妇及男子中风。如出现角弓反张、口噤不开的症状，疗效显著，其效力与紫汤相当。
治疗突然咽喉疼痛的方子。
将悬木枸烧成灰，用水送服一方寸匕，每日三次。
另一个方子：烧一把炊帚，用浆水送服一方寸匕。
治疗突发风邪导致的咽喉肿痛、面部肿痛的方子。
杏仁末与鸡蛋黄混合，再次捣碎敷在患处，干了就更换，重复七八次。如果肿胀处流出液体，用煮过的醋调和伏龙肝敷贴，干了就更换。
治疗猝然尸疰（一种传染性或突发性重病）影响咽喉的方子。
烧鞋鼻绳为灰烬，用温水送服。
另一个方子：烧麻子脂，服用。
治疗咽喉不利、降气的方子。
射干 杏仁 人参 附子 桂心（各一两）
以上五味药研成细末，用蜂蜜制成如手指大小的丸药，含服一丸，慢慢吞咽，使药味相接。
治疗咽喉中疼痛发痒，吐不出来也咽不下去，好像中了虫毒的方子。
含服生姜五十天，病愈。
The pharyngeal gate (Yanmen) is the indicator of the Liver and Gallbladder. If the Zang organs are hot, the pharyngeal gate becomes closed with Qi obstruction; if the Fu organs are cold, the pharyngeal gate breaks and the voice becomes hoarse. Mujiang Jiu (Mother Ginger Wine) is indicated for treatment.
Formula:
Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens Juice (2 sheng), Butter (Su), Ox Marrow (Niusui), Oil (You) (each 1 sheng), Cinnamon Heart (Guixin), Sichuan Pepper (Qinjiao) (each 1 liang), Saposhnikovia Root (Fangfeng) (1.5 liang), Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizome (Chuanxiong), Angelica Pubescens Root (Duhuo) (each 1 liang 6 zhu).
Grind the above nine ingredients into fine powder, add to the ginger juice, and decoct until the liquid moistens the herbs. Add the marrow, butter, and oil, mix well, and decoct over low heat using the "three up, three down" method (boil, remove from heat to cool slightly, then boil again, repeated three times). In the morning on an empty stomach, take warm clear wine 1 sheng, add 2 he of the膏 (paste/extract), and swallow slowly. Take three times a day and once at night.
Another formula:
Salvia Miltiorrhiza Radix et Rhizoma (Danshen), Cimicifugae Rhizoma (Shengma), Realgar (Xionghuang), Prunus Armeniaca Semen (Xingren), Podophylli Fructus (Guijiu), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao), Belamcandae Rhizoma (Shegan) (each 1 liang), Moschus (Shexiang) (0.5 liang).
Grind the above eight ingredients into powder, make pills with honey the size of mulberry seeds. Swallow one pill with water, gradually increasing to five pills, three times a day. Taking it with wine is also good. This is effective for sore throat and loss of voice or difficulty speaking.
Formula for treating injured throat with unclear voice:
Wine (1 sheng), Dried Ginger (Ganjiang, 2.5 liang, powdered), Butter (Su, 1 sheng), Akebia Caulis (Tongcao), Cinnamon Heart (Guixin), Acorus Tatarinowii Rhizome (Shichangpu) (each 2 liang, powdered).
Mix the above six ingredients well. Take one bi (a spoonful measure) per dose, three times a day.
Another formula:
Wine (1 sheng), Butter (Su, 1 sheng), Powdered Dried Ginger (Ganjiang Mo, 10 liang).
For each dose, mix 2 he of wine, one bi of butter, and two bi of ginger powder. Take three times a day after meals. It can also treat Lung Abscess (Fei Yong).
Formula for treating aphonia with cough:
Cinnamon Heart (Guixin, 6 zhu), Apricot Kernel (Xingren, 18 zhu).
Grind the above two ingredients into powder, make pills with honey the size of apricot kernels. Hold in the mouth and swallow the juice slowly, day and night without interruption.
Formula for treating sore throat, rebellious Qi, and inability to eat:
Hemp Seed (Mazi, 1 sheng, stir-fried until black).
Pour 1 sheng of wine over the hemp seeds to extract the juice. Take 1 sheng on an empty stomach, gradually increasing to 2 sheng. Induce sweating and keep covered. Avoid wind and cold.
This formula also treats postpartum women and men suffering from Wind Stroke (Zhong Feng). For symptoms such as opisthotonos (Jiaogong Fanzhang) and trismus (Koujin Bukai), it is highly effective, with potency similar to Zitang.
Formula for sudden sore throat:
Burn Xuanmugou (likely a specific local herb or root) to ash, take one cunbi with water, three times a day.
Another formula:
Burn one cooking broom, take one cunbi with Jiangshui (fermented grain wash water).
Formula for sudden Wind-induced swelling of throat and face:
Mix Apricot Kernel powder with Egg Yolk (Jizi Huang), pound together, and apply to the affected area. Replace when dry, repeating 7-8 times. If fluid oozes from the swelling, boil vinegar, mix with Longgu (Fulonggan/Dragon Bone - specifically the earth under the stove), apply, and replace when dry.
Formula for sudden Shiyu (Corpse Affliction/Pestilence) affecting the throat:
Burn the nose-string of shoes to ash, take with warm water.
Another formula:
Burn Hemp Seed Fat (Mazi Zhi), take orally.
Formula for treating throat obstruction and descending Qi:
Belamcandae Rhizome (Shegan), Apricot Kernel (Xingren), Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen), Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata (Fuzi), Cinnamon Heart (Guixin) (each 1 liang).
Grind the above five ingredients into powder, make pills with honey the size of a finger. Hold one pill in the mouth and swallow slowly, allowing the medicinal taste to connect continuously.
Formula for treating pain and itching in the throat, where nothing can be spat out or swallowed, resembling insect toxin poisoning:
Hold fresh Ginger (Shengjiang) in the mouth for fifty days, and the disease will heal.
Another formula:
Wrap Ephedrae Herba (Mahuang) in green cloth, burn it, collect the smoke in a bamboo tube, and fumigate the throat.
