主衄方。
生地黄（八两） 黄芩（一两） 阿胶（二两） 柏叶（一把） 甘草（二两
上五味 咀。以水七升，煮取三升，去滓，纳胶煎取二升半，分三服。
又方 生地黄三斤（切） 阿胶二两 蒲黄六合
上三味以水五升，煮取三升，分三服。
治鼻出血不止方。
干地黄 栀子 甘草（等分）
上三味治下筛。酒服方寸匕，日三。如鼻疼者，加豉一合；鼻有风热者，以葱涕和服如
梧子五丸。
治鼻衄方。
地黄汁五合，煮取四合，空腹服之，忌酒炙肉，且服粳米饮。
又方 饮小蓟汁。
又方 以冷水净漱口，含水以芦管吹二孔中，即止。
又方 取乱发五两，烧作灰，以管吹鼻中枣核大。不止，益吹之，以血断止。并水服方
寸匕，日三，甚者夜二。已困不识人者，服亦佳。
又方 取人屎尖烧灰，水服并吹少许鼻中，止。
又方 五月五日取人屎，烧作灰，冷水服五分匕。
又方 以胶贴鼻头上，至顶及发际三寸，止。
又方 新马屎汁灌鼻中，及饮之。
又方 以湿布敷胸上。
又方 淳醋和土涂阴囊上，干，易之。
又方 韭根葱根取汁，悬头着一枣大纳鼻中，少时更着，两三度瘥，葱白捣汁亦得。
治鼻出血不止方。
捣楮叶汁，饮三升，大良。
又方 张弓令弦向上，病儿仰卧枕，弦放，四体如常卧法，衄时痒痒，便灸足大趾节横
理三毛中十壮，剧者百壮，衄不止，灸之，并治阴卵肿。
又灸风府一穴四壮，不止，又灸。
又灸涌泉二穴各百壮。
主治鼻出血的方剂。

以上五味药，切碎。用七升水，煎煮至三升，滤去药渣，加入阿胶再煎煮至二升半，分三次服用。

以上三味药，用五升水，煎煮至三升，分三次服用。
治疗鼻出血不止的方剂。
干地黄 栀子 甘草（等量）
以上三味药，捣碎过筛。用酒送服一方寸匕的药粉，每日三次。如果鼻子疼痛，加豆豉一合；如果鼻子有风热，用葱汁调和成梧桐子大小的丸药服用。
治疗鼻衄（鼻出血）的方剂。
取生地黄汁五合，煎煮至四合，空腹服用，忌食酒煮和炙烤的肉，同时服用粳米汤。
另一个方子：饮用小蓟汁。
另一个方子：用冷水漱口清洁，含冷水通过芦管吹入两个鼻孔中，即可止血。
另一个方子：取乱发五两，烧成灰，用管子吹入鼻孔中，大小如枣核。如果血不止，继续吹入，直到血止。并用水送服一方寸匕的药灰，每日三次，病情严重的夜间加服两次。如果病人已经昏迷不省人事，服用此方也有效。
另一个方子：取人粪尖端部分烧成灰，用水送服并吹少许入鼻中，即可止血。
另一个方子：五月五日收集人粪，烧成灰，用冷水送服五分匕的量。
另一个方子：用胶贴在鼻头上，延伸至头顶及发际线三寸处，即可止血。
另一个方子：取新马粪汁灌入鼻中，并口服。
另一个方子：用湿布敷在胸部。
另一个方子：用浓醋和土涂抹在阴囊上，干了就更换。
另一个方子：取韭菜根和葱根榨汁，将如枣核大小的药团塞入鼻中，过了一会儿再塞，重复两三次可痊愈，葱白捣汁也可以。
治疗鼻出血不止的方剂。
捣碎楮树叶取汁，饮用三升，效果很好。
另一个方子：拉开弓使弦向上，让患病的儿童仰卧枕着，松开弦，四肢像平常睡觉一样放置，当鼻出血时感到痒，就在足大趾节横纹毛发中的穴位灸十壮，病情严重的灸一百壮，鼻出血不止时，施灸此法，并同时治疗阴囊肿胀。
又灸风府穴一穴四壮，如果不止血，继续灸。
又灸涌泉穴两穴各一百壮。
Formulas for treating epistaxis (nosebleed).
Shengdi Huang Decoction: Sheng Di Huang (Rehmanniae Radix, eight liang), Huang Qin (Scutellariae Radix, one liang), E Jiao (Colla Corii Asini, two liang), Bai Ye (Platycladi Cacumen, one handful), Gan Cao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, two liang).
The above five herbs are cut into small pieces. Boil in seven sheng of water until three sheng remain. Strain the dregs, add the Colla Corii Asini, and simmer until two and a half sheng remain. Divide into three doses.
Another formula: Sheng Di Huang (Rehmanniae Radix, three jin, sliced), E Jiao (Colla Corii Asini, two liang), Pu Huang (Typhae Pollen, six he).
The above three herbs are boiled in five sheng of water until three sheng remain. Divide into three doses.
Formula for intractable epistaxis.
Gan Di Huang (Prepared Rehmanniae Radix), Zhi Zi (Gardeniae Fructus), Gan Cao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) in equal parts.
The above three herbs are crushed and sifted. Administer as powder with wine, one fang cun bi per dose, three times daily. If there is nasal pain, add Dou Chi (Fermented Soybean, one he). If there is wind-heat in the nose, mix with Cong Ti (Allii Fistulosi Juice) to form pills the size of Wuzi (seeds of Strychnos nux-vomica).
Formula for epistaxis.
Take Sheng Di Huang Zhi (Juice of Fresh Rehmanniae Radix, five he), boil until four he remain. Take on an empty stomach. Avoid alcohol-cooked and roasted meats. Concurrently consume Jing Mi Yin (Rice gruel).
Another formula: Drink Xiao Ji Zhi (Juice of Cirsii Herba).
Another formula: Rinse the mouth thoroughly with cold water. Hold the cold water in the mouth and blow it into both nostrils using a reed tube; bleeding will stop immediately.
Another formula: Take five liang of disordered hair, burn it to ash. Use a tube to blow the ash into the nostrils, in amounts the size of a jujube pit. If bleeding does not stop, continue blowing until hemostasis is achieved. Also, swallow the ash with water, one fang cun bi per dose, three times daily. For severe cases, add a second dose at night. This is also effective for patients who are comatose or unconscious.
Another formula: Take the tip of human feces, burn it to ash. Swallow with water and blow a small amount into the nostrils to stop bleeding.
Another formula: On the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, collect human feces, burn to ash, and administer with cold water, five fen bi per dose.
Another formula: Apply adhesive plaster to the tip of the nose, extending up to the vertex and three cun from the hairline. Bleeding will stop.
Another formula: Instill juice from fresh horse manure into the nostrils and administer orally.
Another formula: Apply a wet cloth to the chest.
Another formula: Mix strong vinegar with soil and apply to the scrotum. Replace when dry.
Another formula: Extract juice from Jiu Gen (Radix Chrysanthemi Indici) and Cong Gen (Radix Allii Fistulosi). Insert a piece the size of a jujube pit into the nostril. Repeat after a short interval. Two or three applications will cure the condition. Juice from Bai Cong (White part of Allium fistulosum) pounded is also acceptable.
Formula for intractable epistaxis.
Crush Chu Ye (Broussonetiae Folium) to extract juice. Drink three sheng. This is highly effective.
Another formula: Draw a bow so that the string points upward. Have the affected child lie supine on a pillow. Release the tension on the string. Position the limbs as in normal sleep. When epistaxis occurs accompanied by itching, moxa ten zhuang on the point located in the transverse crease and hair among the phalanges of the great toe (Dadun, LR1). For severe cases, use one hundred zhuang. Moxibustion here stops epistaxis and also treats swelling of the testicles.
Also moxa Feng Fu (GV16) four zhuang. If bleeding persists, continue moxibustion.
Also moxa Yong Quan (KI1) bilaterally, one hundred zhuang each.
