治细癣方∶

上八味， 咀，以水七升，煮取三升，适寒温洗身，如炊一石米顷为佳，澄清后，当
微温用之，满三日止。

》云∶捣羊蹄根，着瓷器中，以白蜜和，临用先刮疮，令伤敷之，如炊一石米，又拭去，更
以三年大醋和涂之。若疮处不伤，即不瘥）。
又方 羊蹄根五升，以桑柴灰汁煮四五沸以洗之。凡方中用羊蹄根，皆以日未出时采
之佳。
又方 菖蒲末五斤，以酒五升渍釜中蒸之，使味出，先绝酒一日，每服一升，或半升
又方 干荆子烧中央，以器承两头取汁，刮疮令伤，涂之。
治癣方∶
取煎饼热拓，不限多少，日一遍，良。亦治浸淫疮。
又方 净洗疮，取酱瓣、雀屎和敷之，瘥止。（《翼方》云∶取酱和尿涂之。）
又方 水银、芜荑和酥敷之。
又方 日中午捣桃叶汁敷之。
又方 捣刺蓟汁敷，并服之。
又方 烧蛇蜕一具，酒调服之。
又方 服地黄汁佳。
又方 服驴尿良。
又方 捣羊蹄根和乳涂之。
又方 醋煮艾涂之。
又方 捣莨菪根，蜜和敷之。（《翼方》无根字。）
治湿癣肥疮方∶
用大麻 敷之，五日瘥。
治癣久不瘥者方∶
取自死蛇烧作灰，以猪脂和涂即瘥。
治小儿癣方∶
以蛇床子捣末，猪脂和敷之。
治瘙痒方∶
以水银和胡粉敷之。
治身体瘙痒，白如癣状者方∶
楮子（三枚） 猪胰（一具） 盐（一升） 矾石（一两）
上四味，以苦酒一升合捣，令熟拭身，日三。
治 易方∶
以三年醋磨乌贼骨，先以布摩肉，令赤敷之。
又方 醋磨硫黄涂上。（《集验方》磨硫黄、附子，使熟，将卧以布拭病上，乃以药敷
之）。
又方 取蜣螂捣烂涂之，当揩令热封上，一宿瘥。
又方 白蔹 薰陆香
上二味，为末，揩上，井水服之。
又方 硫黄 雌黄 槲皮（烧，等分） 蛇蜕（一具）
上四味，捣筛，以清漆合和，薄涂白处。欲涂时，先以巴豆半截拭白处，皮微破，然后
敷之，不过三两度。
又方 硫黄 水银 矾石 灶墨（等分）
上四味，捣末，纳坩子中，以葱涕和研，临卧敷病上。
茹草、野狼牙、青葙、地榆、藜芦、当归、蓄草、羊蹄根（各二两），蛇床子、白蔹（各六分），漏芦（二分）。
以上十一味药，捣碎，用醋浸泡一夜，第二天早晨用已经熬好的猪油四升来煎煮这些药物，经过三次上升三次下降的煎制过程，膏体制成后过滤去除药渣，加入以下后续药物：
雄黄、雌黄、硫黄、矾石、胡粉、松脂（各二两），水银（三两）。
以上七味药，细细研磨，观察水银完全分散散尽后，将其倒入前面的膏液中，用十双筷子搅拌数百遍直至均匀，装入瓷器中密封保存，不要漏气。煎制膏药的方法，要用微火慢熬，火急则药效不佳。敷药时不可靠近眼睛及阴部。先将雄黄等药物研细，待膏药稍凉后，混合搅拌均匀后外敷。
水银、胡粉（各六两），黄连、黄柏（各八分），姜黄（十分），矾石、附子、蛇床子、苦参（各三分）。
以上九味药，水银和胡粉分别研磨成泥状，其余药物研为粉末，用熬好的猪油混合调和研磨，使其均匀后外敷。（《千金翼方》中没有姜黄。）
治疗久治不愈的疥癣方剂：
丹砂、雄黄、雌黄（刘涓子方中无此药），乱发（洗净），松脂、白蜜（各一两），茹草（三两），猪脂（二斤）。
以上九味药，先煎煮头发，令其完全融化，加入松脂和白蜜，经过三次上升三次下降的煎制，去渣，加入各种药末再煮沸一次即止，然后外敷。（《千金翼方》使用蜡，不使用蜜。）
又一方：水银、矾石（一作石胆）、黄连（一作雄黄）、蛇床子（各一两）。
以上四味药，研为粉末，用七合猪油和匀搅拌，直到看不见水银珠为止，然后外敷。（另一方案加藜芦一两，又说用茹草治疗各种疮疥癣，久治不愈的方剂：）
以上两味药，在铁器中垒起灶台，用马粪火连续燃烧七天七夜，不要停火，取出后冷却取膏，去掉水银可以另行使用，用此膏外敷各种疮疡，无不立即痊愈。（《千金翼方》用水银粉和猪脂涂抹。）
以上两味药，用牛尿浸泡羊蹄根一夜，日晒干燥后再放入尿中，取尽为止，研为粉末，外敷各种疮疡。（《千金翼方》说：和猪脂一起使用更精妙。）
又一方：拔取生乌头十枚，切碎煮汁，清洗患处即可痊愈。
论述说：凡是各种疮癣，初生时或者刚开始疼痛瘙痒，就用各种单方救治，有的嚼盐涂抹，有的用谷汁外敷，有的用蒜泥混合外敷。（《千金翼方》将蒜做成酥油。）有的用姜黄外敷，有的用鲤鱼脑掺入外敷，有的用牛李子汁外敷。如果用这些方法救治无效，再用前面提到的大方剂治疗。
治疗细癣方剂：
蛇床子、白盐（一作白垩）、羊蹄根（各一升），赤葛根、苦参、菖蒲（各半斤），黄连、莽草。
以上八味药，切碎，用水七升，煮取三升，调节至适宜温度清洗身体，以相当于蒸一石米的时间为佳，澄清后，当微微温热时使用，连续使用三天。
又一方：用羊蹄根在石头上，用醋磨碎后外敷，欲敷前先刮破疮面，用火烤干后，敷四五次。（《千金翼方》说：捣烂羊蹄根，放在瓷器中，用白蜜调和，临用时先刮破疮面，令其受伤后敷上，如同蒸一石米的时间，再擦去，再用陈年大醋调和涂抹。如果疮处不刮破，就不能痊愈。）
又一方：羊蹄根五升，用桑柴灰汁煮四五沸后用来清洗。凡方剂中使用羊蹄根，都以日出前采集为佳。
又一方：菖蒲粉末五斤，用酒五升浸泡在釜中蒸之，使味道析出，服药前先禁酒一天，每次服用一升，或半升。
又一方：将荆条种子烧中间，用容器承接两头流出的汁液，刮破疮面令其受伤，涂抹此汁。
治疗癣方剂：
取煎饼趁热熨烫，不限次数，每天一次，效果良好。也治疗浸淫疮。
又一方：洗净疮面，取酱瓣、麻雀屎混合外敷，痊愈即止。（《千金翼方》说：取酱和尿液涂抹。）
又一方：水银、芜荑混合酥油外敷。
又一方：中午捣桃叶汁外敷。
又一方：捣刺蓟汁外敷，并内服。
又一方：烧蛇蜕一具，用酒调服。
又一方：服用地黄汁佳。
又一方：服用驴尿良效。
又一方：捣羊蹄根和乳汁涂抹。
又一方：醋煮艾叶涂抹。
又一方：捣莨菪根，蜜调和外敷。（《千金翼方》无“根”字。）
治疗湿癣肥疮方剂：
用大麻仁外敷，五日痊愈。
治疗癣疾久治不愈者方剂：
取自死蛇烧作灰，用猪脂调和涂抹即愈。
治疗小儿癣方剂：
治疗瘙痒方剂：
以上四味药，用醋一升混合捣烂，煮熟后擦拭身体，每天三次。
治疗狐臭易方：
用三年陈醋磨乌贼骨，先用布摩擦皮肤至发红，然后敷药。
又一方：醋磨硫黄涂上。（《集验方》磨硫黄、附子，使其熟透，准备睡觉时用布擦拭病处，然后敷药。）
又一方：取蜣螂捣烂涂之，应当揩擦令局部发热并封盖，一夜痊愈。
以上两味药，研为粉末，揩擦患处，井水送服。
以上四味药，捣筛，用清漆调和，薄涂于白斑处。欲涂时，先用巴豆半截擦拭白斑处，使表皮微破，然后敷药，不超过两三度。
以上四味药，捣末，纳入坩埚中，用葱涕调和研磨，临睡前敷于病处。
Formula for Treating All Kinds of Malignant Sores, Scabies, Tinea, Carbuncles, and Fistulas.
Artemisiae Argyi Folium (Rugu), Agrimoniae Herba (Yelangya), Semen Celosiae (Qingxiang), Sanguisorbae Radix (Diyu), Veratri Radix et Rhizoma (Lilu), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui), Polygoni Avicularis Herba (Jixuecao), Rheum Palmatum Radix et Rhizoma (Yangtigen) [2 liang each], Cnidii Fructus (Shechuangzi), Ampelopsis Radix (Bailian) [6 fen each], Euphorbiae Humifusae Herba (Loulu) [2 fen].
The above eleven medicinal materials are crushed, soaked in vinegar (Ku Jiu) overnight. At dawn, they are decocted with four sheng of rendered pork fat (Cheng Jian Zhu Gao). The mixture is boiled through three cycles of rising and falling. Once the ointment is formed, filter out the dregs and add the following subsequent medicines:
Realgar (Xionghuang), Orpiment (Cihuang), Sulfur (Liuhuang), Alum (Fanshi), Lead White (Hufen), Pine Resin (Songzhi) [2 liang each], Mercury (Shuiyin) [3 liang].
The above seven medicinal materials are finely ground. Observe until the mercury is completely dispersed, then pour into the previous ointment. Stir hundreds of times with ten pairs of chopsticks until uniform. Store tightly in a porcelain vessel to prevent leakage. When preparing the ointment, use low heat; high heat renders it ineffective. Apply externally, avoiding eyes and genitals. First, grind Realgar etc. finely. When the ointment cools slightly, mix well and apply.
Formula for Treating Scabies, Carbuncles, and Various Sores:
Mercury (Shuiyin), Lead White (Hufen) [6 liang each], Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian), Phellodendri Cortex (Huangbai) [8 fen each], Turmeric (Jianghuang) [10 fen], Alum (Fanshi), Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata (Fuzi), Cnidii Fructus (Shechuangzi), Sophorae Flavescentis Radix (Kushen) [3 fen each].
The above nine medicinal materials: Mercury and Lead White are separately ground into a paste. The rest are powdered. Mix with rendered pork fat, grind until uniform, and apply externally. (*Qianjin Yifang* omits Turmeric.)
Formula for Chronic Scabies and Tinea:
Cinnabar (Dansha), Realgar (Xionghuang), Orpiment (Cihuang - omitted in Liu Juanzi's formula), Human Hair (Luannfa, washed clean), Pine Resin (Songzhi), White Honey (Baimi) [1 liang each], Artemisiae Argyi Folium (Rugu) [3 liang], Pork Fat (Zhuzhi) [2 jin].
The above nine medicinal materials: First decoct the hair until completely dissolved. Add Pine Resin and White Honey. Boil through three cycles of rising and falling. Filter out dregs. Add all powdered medicines and boil once more. Apply externally. (*Qianjin Yifang* uses wax instead of honey.)
Another Formula: Mercury (Shuiyin), Alum (Fanshi, alternatively Stone Gall), Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian, alternatively Realgar), Cnidii Fructus (Shechuangzi) [1 liang each].
The above four medicinal materials are powdered. Mix with 7 he of pork fat and stir until no mercury beads are visible. Apply externally. (Another variant adds Veratri Radix et Rhizoma [1 liang]; another states that Artemisiae Argyi Folium treats various sores, scabies, and tinea that do not heal for a long time:)
Formula for Chronic Sores, Scabies, and Tinea Not Healing:
Mercury (Shuiyin) [1 jin], Rendered Pork Fat from the Twelfth Lunar Month (Layue Zhuzhi) [5 sheng].
The above two medicinal materials: Build a stove inside an iron vessel. Burn horse dung fire for seven days and nights continuously without stopping. Remove and cool to obtain the ointment. The mercury can be removed and used separately. Apply this ointment to all sores; healing should be immediate. (*Qianjin Yifang* uses Mercury Powder mixed with pork fat for application.)
Another Formula: Urine of Steer (Teniu Niao), Rheum Palmatum Radix et Rhizoma (Yangtigen) [5 sheng each].
The above two medicinal materials: Soak Rheum Palmatum Radix et Rhizoma in steer urine overnight. Sun-dry, then return to urine. Repeat until exhausted. Grind into powder and apply to various sores. (*Qianjin Yifang* notes: mixing with pork fat makes it more effective.)
Another Formula: Extract fresh Aconitum Carmichaelii Radix (Sheng Wutou) [10 pieces]. Slice and decoct for juice. Wash the affected area for cure.
Discussion: For all kinds of sores and tinea, at the initial stage when pain or itching begins, use various single-herb remedies. Some chew salt and apply; some apply grain juice; some apply garlic paste. (*Qianjin Yifang* uses garlic butter). Some apply Turmeric; some apply carp brain mixed with other substances; some apply juice from Prunus salicina fruits. If these remedies fail, then use the major formulas mentioned above.
Formula for Fine Tinea:
Cnidii Fructus (Shechuangzi), White Salt (Baiyan, alternatively Kaolin/Bai'e), Rheum Palmatum Radix et Rhizoma (Yangtigen) [1 sheng each], Puerariae Lobatae Radix Rubra (Chige Gen), Sophorae Flavescentis Radix (Kushen), Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma (Changpu) [0.5 jin each], Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian), Mastrantis Herb (Mangcao).
The above eight medicinal materials are cut into small pieces. Decoct with 7 sheng of water to obtain 3 sheng. Adjust temperature for washing the body. Ideally, the duration should match the time it takes to steam one dan of rice. After clarification, use while slightly warm. Continue for three days.
Another Formula: Grind Rheum Palmatum Radix et Rhizoma on a stone with vinegar. Before application, scrape the sore surface. Dry with heat, then apply 4-5 times. (*Qianjin Yifang* says: Pound Rheum Palmatum Radix et Rhizoma, place in porcelain, mix with white honey. Before use, scrape the sore to cause injury, then apply. Wait as long as steaming one dan of rice, wipe off, then reapply mixed with aged strong vinegar. If the sore is not scraped, it will not heal.)
Another Formula: Use 5 sheng of Rheum Palmatum Radix et Rhizoma. Decoct with ash lye from mulch wood for 4-5 boils, then wash. It is best to harvest Rheum Palmatum Radix et Rhizoma before sunrise in any formula using it.
Another Formula: Take 5 jin of Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma powder. Soak in 5 sheng of wine in a cauldron and steam to extract flavor. Abstain from alcohol for one day before taking. Take 1 sheng or 0.5 sheng per dose.
Another Formula: Burn the center of Vitex Negundo Seeds (Jingzi). Collect the juice flowing from both ends in a container. Scrape the sore to cause injury and apply the juice.
Formula for Tinea:
Take hot pancake and apply as a compress. Frequency is unlimited, but once daily is good. Also treats Impetigo (Jinyinchuang).
Another Formula: Clean the sore. Mix soybean paste (Jiangban) and sparrow feces (Que Shi) and apply. Stop when healed. (*Qianjin Yifang* says: Mix soybean paste with urine for application.)
Another Formula: Mix Mercury (Shuiyin) and Chuan Fritillaria Bulb (Wuyi) with butter and apply.
Another Formula: At noon, pound fresh peach leaves for juice and apply.
Another Formula: Pound Thistle (Stachys) for juice. Apply externally and ingest internally.
Another Formula: Burn one snake skin (Shetui). Mix with wine and ingest.
Another Formula: Ingest Rehmanniae Radix (Dihuang) juice. It is excellent.
Another Formula: Ingest donkey urine. It is beneficial.
Another Formula: Pound Rheum Palmatum Radix et Rhizoma, mix with milk, and apply.
Another Formula: Decoct Mugwort (Ai) in vinegar and apply.
Another Formula: Pound Datura Metel Root (Langdangen), mix with honey, and apply. (*Qianjin Yifang* omits the character "root".)
Formula for Wet Tinea and Fatty Sores:
Apply Hemp Seed (Dama Ren). Heal in five days.
Formula for Tinea Not Healing for a Long Time:
Burn a dead snake to ash. Mix with pork fat and apply. Cure follows.
Formula for Pediatric Tinea:
Powder Cnidii Fructus (Shechuangzi). Mix with pork fat and apply.
Formula for Itching:
Apply Mercury (Shuiyin) mixed with Lead White (Hufen).
Formula for Body Itching with White Skin Lesions Resembling Tinea:
Broussonetia Fruit (Chuzi) [3 pieces], Porcine Pancreas (Zhu Yi) [1 unit], Salt (Yan) [1 sheng], Alum (Fanshi) [1 liang].
The above four medicinal materials are pounded together with 1 sheng of vinegar until cooked. Wipe the body. Do this three times daily.
Formula for Bromhidrosis (Yi):
Grind Cuttlebone (Wuzeigu) with three-year-aged vinegar. First rub the skin with cloth until red, then apply.
Another Formula: Grind Sulfur (Liuhuang) with vinegar and apply. (*Jiyan Fang* says: Grind Sulfur and Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata until smooth. Before sleep, wipe the affected area with cloth, then apply medicine.)
Another Formula: Pound Dung Beetle (Qianglang) and apply. Rub to generate heat and cover. Heal overnight.
Another Formula: Ampelopsis Radix (Bailian), Frankincense (Xunluxiang).
The above two medicinal materials are powdered. Rub onto the affected area. Ingest with well water.
Another Formula: Sulfur (Liuhuang), Orpiment (Cihuang), Oak Bark (Hu Pi, burned, equal parts), Snake Skin (Shetui) [1 piece].
The above four medicinal materials are pounded and sifted. Mix with clear lacquer (Qingqi) and apply thinly to white patches. Before application, rub the white patch with half a seed of Croton Tiglium (Badou) to slightly break the skin, then apply. Do not exceed 2-3 applications.
Another Formula: Sulfur (Liuhuang), Mercury (Shuiyin), Alum (Fanshi), Stove Soot (Zaomo) (equal parts).
The above four medicinal materials are powdered. Place in a crucible. Grind with onion juice (Cong Ti). Apply to the affected area before bed.
