上十二味末之，蜜和服如梧子十丸，日三服。
治口吻疮方。
以楸白皮及湿贴之三四度瘥。
又方 取经年葵根欲腐者弥佳，烧作灰，及热敷之。
又方 以新炊饭了甑，及热以唇口向甑，唇上熨之，二七下三两上，瘥止。
又方 栀子 甘草（各十八铢） 细辛（三十铢） 桂心（十二铢） 川芎（一两）
上五味末之，蜜丸，食后服七丸，日再服，瘥止。
又方 川芎 白芷 橘皮 桂心 枣肉（各一两半）
上五味末之，以蜜和为丸，食后服十五丸，又含之，以瘥为度。此方甚验。
治口肥疮方。
熬灶上饭令焦，末，敷之。
治燕吻疮方。
白杨枯枝铁上烧，取 及热敷之。
又方 以木履尾，纳 灰中，令热，取柱两吻各二七遍。
治口旁恶疮方。
乱发灰 故絮灰 黄连末 干姜末
上四味等分，合和为散，以粉疮上，不过三遍。
治口中疮，咽喉塞不利，口燥膏方。
猪膏 白蜜（各一斤） 黄连（一两）
上三味合煎去滓，搅令相得，含如半枣，日四、五，夜二。
治热病口烂咽喉生疮，水浆不得入膏方。
当归 射干 升麻（各一两） 附子（半两） 白蜜（四两）
上五味 咀，以猪脂四两先煎之，令成膏，下着地，勿令大热，纳诸药，微火煎令附子
色黄，药成绞去滓，纳蜜，复上火一两沸，令相得，置器中，令凝，取如杏仁大，含之，日
四五遍，辄咽之。
治失欠、颊车蹉开张不合方。
一人以手指牵其颐，以渐推之，则复入矣。推当疾出指，恐误啮伤人指也。
治失欠颊车蹉方。
消蜡和水敷之。
失欠颊车蹉，灸背第五椎，一日二七壮，满三日未瘥，灸气冲二百壮，胸前喉下甲骨中
，是亦名气堂。
又灸足内踝上三寸宛宛中或三寸五分百壮三报。此三阴交穴也。
治卒口噤不开方。
以附子捣末，纳管中，强开口，吹口中。
治口中热干，甘草丸方。
甘草 人参 半夏 生姜 乌梅肉（各二两半） 枣膏（二两半）
上六味末之，蜜丸如弹子大，旋含咽汁，日三。
治口干方。
羊脂若猪脂鸡子大，擘之纳半升醋中，渍一宿，绞取汁含之。
治口干除热下气方。
石膏（五合碎） 蜜（二升）
上二味以水三升煮石膏，取二升，纳蜜，煮取二升，去滓，含如枣核大，咽汁尽，更含
之。
治虚劳口干方。
麦门冬（二两末） 大枣（三十枚肉）
上二味，以蜜一升和，令熟五升米下，蒸之，任性服。
又方 羊脂如鸡子大，淳酒半升，枣七枚擘，合渍七日，取枣食之，愈。
又方 酸枣（一升） 酸石榴子（五合） 葛根（三两） 麦门冬（四两） 覆盆子（三

上八味末之，以蜜丸含如枣大，以润为度。
【方剂名称】蔷薇丸
主治：口疮，身体有热感，痱子及瘰疬（颈部淋巴结结核）。
组成：蔷薇根、黄芩、鼠李根、当归、葛根、白蔹、石龙芮（《千金翼方》中作黄连）、黄柏、芍药。
用法：将上述十二味药材研成细末，用蜂蜜调和，制成如梧桐子大小的丸剂。每次服用十丸，每日三次。
【方剂名称】治口吻疮方
主治：嘴角疮疡。
用法：取楸树白色树皮，湿润后贴敷患处，三四次即可痊愈。
【又方】
用法：取经年陈旧的葵菜根，若已接近腐烂者更佳，将其烧成灰，趁热敷于患处。
【又方】
用法：使用刚蒸完饭的热饭甑（古代蒸食物的器具），趁热让患者嘴唇靠近甑口，对唇部进行熨烫。操作频率为“二七下三两上”（即向下按压两次，向上抬起三次，或指特定节奏的熨烫动作），症状消失即停止。
【又方】
组成：栀子、甘草（各十八铢）、细辛（三十铢）、桂心（十二铢）、川芎（一两）。
用法：将上述五味药材研成细末，用蜂蜜制成丸剂。饭后服用七丸，每日两次，症状消失即停药。
【又方】
组成：川芎、白芷、橘皮、桂心、枣肉（各一两半）。
用法：将上述五味药材研成细末，用蜂蜜调和制成丸剂。饭后服用十五丸，并含在口中，以症状痊愈为度。此方疗效显著。
【方剂名称】治口肥疮方
主治：口周肥厚性疮疡。
用法：将灶台上的饭熬至焦黑，研成细末，外敷于患处。
【方剂名称】治燕吻疮方
主治：燕吻疮（一种口角炎或唇部疾病）。
用法：取白杨枯枝，放在铁器上烧灼，取其灰烬，趁热敷于患处。
【又方】
用法：取木屐的后跟部分，放入灰烬中使其变热，然后用其柱状部分在两嘴角各摩擦十四遍（二七遍）。
【方剂名称】治口旁恶疮方
主治：口旁恶性疮疡。
组成：乱发灰、旧棉絮灰、黄连末、干姜末。
用法：将上述四味药材等量混合，研成散剂，撒敷于疮面上，不超过三次即可。
【方剂名称】治口中疮，咽喉塞不利，口燥膏方
主治：口中生疮，咽喉堵塞不畅，口干舌燥。
组成：猪脂（猪油）、白蜜（各一斤）、黄连（一两）。
用法：将上述三味药材合煎，滤去药渣，搅拌使药液均匀。含服如半个枣大小的量，白天四次至五次，夜间两次。
【方剂名称】治热病口烂咽喉生疮，水浆不得入膏方
主治：热病导致的口腔溃烂、咽喉生疮，导致饮食难进。
组成：当归、射干、升麻（各一两）、附子（半两）、白蜜（四两）。
用法：将前五味药材切碎，先用四两猪脂煎煮，熬制成膏状。离火放置，待温度不烫手时，加入其余药物，用微火煎煮至附子颜色变黄。药成后绞去药渣，加入蜂蜜，再次上火煮沸一次，使药性融合。置于容器中冷却凝固，制成如杏仁大小的丸剂。含服，每日四五次，咽下汁液。
【方剂名称】治失欠、颊车蹉开张不合方
主治：打哈欠过度导致下颌关节脱位，无法闭合。
用法：一人用手指牵引其下巴，逐渐推回原位即可复位。推动时应迅速抽出手指，以免误伤咬到施术者的手指。

主治：打哈欠导致下颌关节脱位。
用法：用融化的蜡加水调敷患处。
【针灸疗法】
主治：打哈欠导致下颌关节脱位。
穴位与操作：灸背部第五椎处，每日灸十四壮（一壮为一个艾炷），若三天未愈，再灸气冲穴二百壮。胸前喉下甲骨中，此处亦称为气堂。
又法：灸足内踝上三寸凹陷处，或三寸五分处，各灸一百壮，重复三次。此为三阴交穴。

主治：突发牙关紧闭，无法张口。
用法：将附子捣成细末，装入管中，强行张开患者嘴巴，将药粉吹入口中。

组成：甘草、人参、半夏、生姜、乌梅肉（各二两半）、枣膏（二两半）。
用法：将上述六味药材研成细末，用蜂蜜制成如弹子大小的丸剂。随时含服，咽下汁液，每日三次。

主治：口干。
用法：取羊脂或猪脂，大小如鸡蛋，掰碎放入半升醋中，浸泡一夜，绞取汁液含漱。

主治：口干，兼有清热降气之效。
组成：石膏（五合，捣碎）、蜜（二升）。
用法：用水三升煮石膏，取二升药液，加入蜂蜜，再煮取二升，滤去药渣。含服如枣核大小的量，咽尽汁液后，再重新含服。
【方剂名称】治虚劳口干方
主治：虚劳引起的口干。
组成：麦门冬（二两，研末）、大枣（三十枚，取肉）。
用法：将上述两味药材，用一升蜂蜜调和，放入煮熟的五升米饭中，蒸制而成，随意服用。
【又方】
用法：取羊脂如鸡蛋大小，淳酒半升，大枣七枚掰开，一同浸泡七日，取出大枣食用，即可痊愈。
【又方】
组成：酸枣（一升）、酸石榴子（五合）、葛根（三两）、麦门冬（四两）、覆盆子（三合）、乌梅（五合）、甘草、栝蒌实（各三两）。
用法：将上述八味药材研成细末，用蜂蜜制成如枣大小的丸剂，含服，以滋润口腔为度。
[Rose Pill]
Indications: Mouth sores, sensation of heat in the body, miliaria (heat rash), and scrofula (tuberculous lymphadenitis of the neck).
Ingredients: Radix Rosae Rugosae (Qiangwei Gen), Radix Scutellariae (Huangqin), Cortex Fraxini (Shuli Gen), Radix Angelicae Sinensis (Danggui), Radix Puerariae (Gegen), Rhizoma Akebiae (Bailian), Herba Ranunculi Ternati (Shilongrui; noted as Coptidis Rhizoma/Huanglian in *Qianjin Yifang*), Cortex Phellodendri (Huangbai), Radix Paeoniae Alba (Shaoyao).
Administration: Powder the above twelve herbs. Mix with honey to form pills the size of a Chinese quince seed (*Wuzi*). Take ten pills per dose, three times daily.
[Formula for Angular Cheilitis]
Indications: Sores at the corners of the mouth.
Administration: Apply moistened inner bark of Catalpa bungei (Qioubai) to the affected area. Repeat three or four times until healed.
[Alternative Formula 1]
Administration: Use old roots of Abutilon theophrasti (Kuigen) that are near decay. Burn them to ash and apply hot compresses to the lesion.
[Alternative Formula 2]
Administration: Use a hot rice steamer basket (Zeng) immediately after cooking rice. Hold the lips near the steam/heat of the basket to warm the lips. Perform the motion rhythmically ("two presses down, three lifts up"). Stop when healed.
[Alternative Formula 3]
Ingredients: Fructus Gardeniae (Zhizi), Radix Glycyrrhizae (Gancao, 18 zhu each), Radix Asari (Xixin, 30 zhu), Ramulus Cinnamomi (Guixin, 12 zhu), Radix Chuanxiong (Chuanxiong, 1 liang).
Administration: Powder the five herbs. Mix with honey to make pills. Take seven pills after meals, twice daily. Discontinue when healed.
[Alternative Formula 4]
Ingredients: Radix Chuanxiong (Chuanxiong), Radix Angelicae Dahuricae (Baizhi), Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae (Jupi), Ramulus Cinnamomi (Guixin), Flesh of Jujube (Zaorou, 1.5 liang each).
Administration: Powder the five herbs. Mix with honey to make pills. Take fifteen pills after meals and hold in the mouth. Continue until healed. This formula is highly effective.
[Formula for Hypertrophic Oral Ulcers]
Indications: Hypertrophic ulcers around the mouth.
Administration: Char the rice from the stove top until black, powder it, and apply externally.
[Formula for Yanwen Chuang]
Indications: Yanwen Chuang (a type of angular cheilitis or lip disease).
Administration: Burn dry branches of Populus alba (Baiyang) on iron until charred. Collect the ash and apply as a hot compress.
[Alternative Formula 1]
Administration: Place the heel of a wooden clog into ashes to heat it. Use the heated part to rub each corner of the mouth fourteen times (two sets of seven).
[Formula for Malignant Ulcers Around the Mouth]
Indications: Malignant ulcers around the mouth.
Ingredients: Ash of tangled hair (Luankui Hui), Ash of old cotton wadding (Guxu Hui), Powdered Rhizoma Coptidis (Huanglian Mo), Powdered Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens (Ganjiang Mo).
Administration: Mix equal parts of the four ingredients into a powder. Dust onto the ulcer. Do not exceed three applications.
[Ointment for Mouth Sores, Throat Obstruction, and Dryness]
Indications: Mouth sores, throat obstruction and discomfort, dry mouth.
Ingredients: Medulla Suilla (Zhugao), White Honey (Baimi, 1 jin each), Rhizoma Coptidis (Huanglian, 1 liang).
Administration: Decoct the three ingredients together, strain, and stir to blend. Hold a piece the size of half a jujube in the mouth. Four to five times during the day, twice at night.
[Ointment for Heat Disease with Oral Ulcers and Throat Lesions Preventing Ingestion]
Indications: Heat disease causing oral erosion and throat sores, preventing intake of fluids.
Ingredients: Radix Angelicae Sinensis (Danggui), Radix Belamcandae (Shegan), Rhizoma Cimicifugae (Shengma, 1 liang each), Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata (Fuzi, 0.5 liang), White Honey (Baimi, 4 liang).
Administration: Coarsely crush the first five ingredients. Decoct in 4 liang of lard first to create an ointment base. Remove from high heat; do not let it get too hot. Add the remaining herbs. Simmer over low heat until Fuzi turns yellow. Strain out the dregs. Add honey. Return to fire for one boil to blend. Pour into a container to solidify. Form into pills the size of an apricot kernel. Hold in the mouth, four to five times daily, swallowing the juice.
[Formula for Temporomandibular Joint Dislocation due to Yawning]
Indications: Jaw dislocation caused by excessive yawning, unable to close.
Administration: One person pulls the chin with fingers, gradually pushing it back into place. The practitioner should withdraw their finger quickly to avoid being bitten.
[Formula for Temporomandibular Joint Dislocation]
Indications: Jaw dislocation due to yawning.
Administration: Apply melted wax mixed with water to the affected area.
[Moxibustion Therapy]
Indications: Jaw dislocation due to yawning.
Acupoints & Procedure: Moxibustion on the fifth thoracic vertebra (Back Five Vertebrae), 14 moxa cones (zhuang) per day. If not healed after three days, moxa Qichong (ST30) for 200 cones. Also located in the bone below the throat on the chest, known as Qitang.
Alternative: Moxa Sanjinyiao (SP6), located 3 cun above the medial malleolus in the depression, or 3.5 cun, 100 cones each, repeated three times. This is the Sanjinyiao acupoint.
[Formula for Sudden Trismus]
Indications: Sudden trismus (lockjaw), inability to open the mouth.
Administration: Powder Fuzi (Prepared Aconite Root). Insert into a tube. Forcefully open the patient's mouth and blow the powder inside.
[Gancao Pill for Heat and Dryness in the Mouth]
Indications: Heat and dryness in the mouth.
Ingredients: Radix Glycyrrhizae (Gancao), Radix Ginseng (Renshen), Rhizoma Pinelliae (Banxia), Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens (Shengjiang), Flesh of Mume Fruit (Wumei Rou, 2.5 liang each), Paste of Jujube (Zaogao, 2.5 liang).
Administration: Powder the six ingredients. Mix with honey to make pills the size of a marble. Hold in the mouth and swallow the juice as needed, three times daily.
[Formula for Dry Mouth]
Indications: Dry mouth.
Administration: Take sheep fat or pork lard, size of an egg. Break into pieces and soak in half sheng of vinegar overnight. Strain and hold the juice in the mouth.
[Formula for Dry Mouth, Clearing Heat, and Directing Qi Downward]
Indications: Dry mouth, clearing heat, directing qi downward.
Ingredients: Gypsum Fibrosum (Shigao, 5 he, crushed), Honey (Mi, 2 sheng).
Administration: Decoct Shigao in 3 sheng of water to obtain 2 sheng of liquid. Add honey and decoct to obtain 2 sheng. Strain. Hold a piece the size of a jujube pit in the mouth, swallow the juice, and repeat.
[Formula for Dry Mouth due to Deficiency Labor]
Indications: Dry mouth due to deficiency labor (chronic debility).
Ingredients: Radix Ophiopogonis (Maidong, 2 liang, powdered), Flesh of Jujube (Dazao, 30 pieces).
Administration: Mix with 1 sheng of honey. Combine with cooked rice (from 5 sheng of grain) and steam. Take as desired.
[Alternative Formula 1]
Administration: Take sheep fat the size of an egg, half sheng of strong wine, and seven cracked jujubes. Soak for seven days. Eat the jujubes to cure.

Ingredients: Semen Ziziphi Spinosae Acidi (Suanzao, 1 sheng), Seeds of Acidic Pomegranate (Suan Shiliu Zi, 5 he), Radix Puerariae (Gegen, 3 liang), Radix Ophiopogonis (Maidong, 4 liang), Fructus Rubi (Fupenzi, 3 he), Fructus Mume (Wumei, 5 he), Radix Glycyrrhizae (Gancao), Fructus Trichosanthis (Gualou Shi, 3 liang each).
Administration: Powder the eight ingredients. Mix with honey to make pills the size of a jujube. Hold in the mouth until it provides moisture.
