（论一首 方十四首）
论曰∶凡产难，或儿横生、侧生，或手足先出，可以针锥刺儿手足，入一二分许，儿得
痛惊转即缩，自当回顺也。
治逆生方∶
以盐涂儿足底，又可急爪抓之，并以盐摩产妇腹上即愈。
又方 以盐和粉涂儿足下即顺。（《子母秘录》云∶以盐和胡粉。）
又方 取梁上尘如弹丸许二枚，治末三指撮，温酒服之。
治逆生及横生不出，手足先见者方∶
烧蛇蜕皮为末，服一刀圭，（亦云三指撮），面向东，酒服即顺。
又方 取蝉壳二枚，治为末，三指撮许，温酒服之。（崔氏《外台》、《子母秘录》作弹
丸二枚为末，酒服。）
又方 取夫阴毛二七茎，烧，以猪膏和丸如大豆，吞之，儿手即持丸出，神验。
又方 取蛇蜕皮烧灰，猪膏和丸，向东服。
又方 以手中指取釜底墨交画儿足下即顺生。
又方 取父名书儿足下即顺生。
治横生及足先出者方∶
取梁上尘灶突墨，酒服之。
又方 取车 中脂，书儿足下及掌中。
治纵横生不可出者方∶
菟丝子末，酒若米汁服方寸匕，即生。车前子亦好，服如上法。
又方 以若酒服灶突墨尘。
治产时子但趋谷道方 熬盐熨之自止。

治产儿胞衣不出、令胞烂方。
牛膝 瞿麦（各一两） 当归 通草（各一两半） 滑石（二两，一作桂心二两） 葵
子（半

上六味 咀，以水九升，煮取三升，分三服。
治产难，胞衣不出横倒者，及儿死腹中，母气欲绝方∶
半夏 白蔹（各二两）
上二味，治下筛，服方寸匕，产难一服，横生二服，倒生三服，儿死四服。亦可加代赭
、瞿麦各二两为佳。
治胎死腹中，若母病欲下之方∶
取榆白皮细切，煮汁三升，服之即下，难生者亦佳。
又方 牛膝（三两） 葵子（一升）
上二味以水七升，煮取三升，分三服。
又方 泽兰叶（三两） 滑石（五合） 生麻油（二合）
上三味以水一升半，煮泽兰取七合，去滓，纳滑石、麻油，顿服之。
治胞衣不出方∶
取小麦合小豆，煮令浓，饮其汁立出。亦治横逆生者。
又方 瓜瓣二七枚，服之立出，良。
又方 取水煮弓弩弦，饮其汁五合，即出。亦可烧灰，酒服。
又方 取宅中所埋柱，掘出取坎底，当柱下土大如鸡子，酒和服之良。
又方 墨三寸为末，酒服。
又方 取蒲黄如枣许，以井花水服。
又方 苦酒服真珠一两。
又方 鸡子一枚，苦酒一合，和饮之。
治逆生胎不出方∶
取灶屋上墨，以酒煮一两沸，取汁饮之。
治产后胞不得出方∶
井底土如鸡子中黄，以井花水和服之，立出。
治子死腹中，若衣不出，欲上抢心方∶
急取蚁蛭土三升，熬令热，囊盛熨心下，令胎不得上抢心，良。
又方 末灶突中墨三指撮许，以水若酒调服之，立出，当着儿头生。
又方 取夫内衣盖井上，立出。
又方 取炊蔽当户前烧服之。
（论述一首，方剂十四首）
论述说：凡是难产，或者胎儿横位、侧位出生，或者手足先露出，可以用针锥刺入胎儿的手足一二分深，胎儿因为疼痛受惊而转动身体并收缩，自然就会回转顺产。
治疗胎位不正的方剂：
用盐涂抹在胎儿脚底，也可以急忙用手指抓挠，并用盐摩擦产妇腹部，即可痊愈。
又一方：用盐和胡粉（铅粉）涂抹在胎儿脚下，胎儿即可顺产。（《子母秘录》记载：用盐和胡粉。）
又一方：取房梁上的灰尘如弹丸大小两枚，研磨成细末，每次取三指撮的量，用温酒送服。
治疗胎位不正及横位不能产出，手足先露出的方剂：
将蛇蜕皮烧成灰末，服用一刀圭的量（也有说法是三指撮），面向东方，用酒送服即可顺产。
又一方：取蝉蜕两枚，研磨成细末，每次取三指撮的量，用温酒送服。（崔氏《外台秘要》、《子母秘录》记载为取两枚弹丸大小的量研末，用酒送服。）
又一方：取丈夫的阴毛十四根，烧焦，用猪油调和制成如大豆大小的药丸，吞服，胎儿的手就会抓着药丸出来，非常灵验。
又一方：取蛇蜕皮烧成灰，用猪油调和成药丸，面向东方服用。
又一方：用中指蘸取锅底的黑灰，在胎儿脚下交叉画符，即可顺产。
又一方：写下父亲的名字在胎儿脚下，即可顺产。
治疗横位及足先露出的方剂：
取房梁上的灰尘和灶膛里的黑灰，用酒送服。
又一方：取车轴中的油脂，涂在胎儿脚下及手掌中。
治疗纵横错位无法产出的方剂：
菟丝子的细末，用酒或米汤，每次服用方寸匕的量，即可分娩。车前子也很好，服用方法同上。
又一方：用酒送服灶膛里的黑灰尘土。
治疗分娩时胎儿只向肛门方向移动的方剂：
炒热盐熨敷，即可自行停止。
（方剂二十二首）
治疗产后胎盘不排出、导致胎盘腐烂的方剂。
牛膝 瞿麦（各一两） 当归 通草（各一两半） 滑石（二两，一作桂心二两） 葵子（半升）
以上六味药，切碎，用水九升，煮取三升，分三次服用。
治疗难产，胎盘不排出且横倒，以及胎儿死于腹中，母亲气息将绝的方剂：
半夏 白蔹（各二两）
以上两味药，研磨过筛，每次服用方寸匕的量，难产服一次，横位服两次，倒位服三次，胎儿死亡服四次。也可以加入代赭石、瞿麦各二两，效果更佳。
治疗胎死腹中，如果母亲患病想要排出的方剂：
取榆白皮细细切碎，煮汁三升，服用后即可排出，难产者服用也有效。
以上两味药，用水七升，煮取三升，分三次服用。
以上三味药，用水一升半，煮泽兰取七合汁液，去渣，加入滑石、麻油，一次性服用。
治疗胎盘不排出的方剂：
取小麦和小豆，煮至浓稠，饮用其汁液，胎盘立即排出。也可治疗横位逆生。
又一方：瓜瓣十四枚，服用后立即排出，效果良好。
又一方：取水煮弓弩弦，饮用其汁液五合，胎盘即排出。也可以烧成灰，用酒送服。
又一方：取住宅中埋藏的柱子，挖出取得柱底下的土，大小如鸡蛋，用酒调和服用，效果良好。
又一方：墨三寸长研成细末，用酒送服。
又一方：取蒲黄如枣核大小，用井水清晨的第一桶水送服。
又一方：用醋送服真珠一两。
又一方：鸡蛋一枚，醋一合，混合后饮用。
治疗胎位不正胎盘不排出的方剂：
取灶屋上的黑灰，用酒煮一两沸，取汁液饮用。
治疗产后胎盘不得排出的方剂：
井底的土如鸡蛋黄大小，用井水清晨的第一桶水调和服用，胎盘立即排出。
治疗胎儿死于腹中，如果胎盘不排出，想要上冲心脏的方剂：
急忙取蚂蚁洞旁的泥土三升，炒热，用袋子盛装熨敷心下部位，使胎盘不得上冲心脏，效果良好。
又一方：取灶膛里的黑灰细末三指撮的量，用水或酒调匀服用，胎盘立即排出，应当是胎儿头部先露出时适用。
又一方：取丈夫的内衣盖在井口上，胎盘立即排出。
又一方：取做饭时遮挡门前的布烧成灰服用。
(One Treatise, Fourteen Prescriptions)
The treatise states: In cases of dystocia (difficult childbirth), whether the fetus is in a transverse or oblique position, or if hands and feet present first, one may prick the fetus's hands and feet with an acupuncture needle or awl to a depth of one or two fen. The pain and fright will cause the fetus to turn and retract, naturally allowing it to return to a normal position for delivery.
Prescription for Malpresentation:
Apply salt to the soles of the fetus's feet. Alternatively, scratch vigorously with fingernails and rub the mother's abdomen with salt; this will result in recovery.
Another prescription: Apply a mixture of salt and Hu Fen (lead carbonate) to the soles of the fetus's feet, which will facilitate normal delivery. (According to *Zimu Milu*: Use salt and Hu Fen.)
Another prescription: Take dust from roof beams, approximately the size of two bean-sized pellets, grind into powder, take three finger-widths (san zhi cuo) of the powder, and swallow with warm wine.
Prescription for Malpresentation and Transverse Presentation with Limb Prolapse:
Burn snake skin to ash, take one dao gui (a traditional measure) of the powder, face east, and swallow with wine to facilitate normal delivery.
Another prescription: Take two cicada sloughs, grind into powder, take approximately three finger-widths of the powder, and swallow with warm wine. (Cui Shi's *Waitai Miyao* and *Zimu Milu* record taking two bean-sized pellets ground into powder, swallowed with wine.)
Another prescription: Take fourteen strands of the husband's pubic hair, burn them, mix with lard to form pills the size of soybeans, and swallow. The fetus's hand will grasp the pill and bring it out; this is highly effective.
Another prescription: Burn snake skin to ash, mix with lard to form pills, and swallow facing east.
Another prescription: Dip the middle finger into soot from the bottom of a cooking pot and draw cross marks on the soles of the fetus's feet to facilitate normal delivery.
Another prescription: Write the father's name on the soles of the fetus's feet to facilitate normal delivery.
Prescription for Transverse Presentation and Footling Presentation:
Take dust from roof beams and soot from the stove flue, and swallow with wine.
Another prescription: Take grease from cart axles and apply to the soles of the fetus's feet and palms.
Prescription for Complex Malpresentations Unable to Deliver:
Take fine powder of Cuscutae Semen (Dodder Seed), swallow one fang cun bi (a square-inch measure) with wine or rice water, and delivery will occur. Plantaginis Semen (Plantago Seed) is also good, administered by the same method.
Another prescription: Swallow soot dust from the stove flue with wine.
Prescription for Fetus Presenting Towards the Anus During Labor:
Apply hot salt packs; the presentation will stop spontaneously.
(Twenty-Two Prescriptions)
Prescription for Retained Placenta Causing Putrefaction:
Niuxi (Achyranthes Root), Qumai (Dianthus Herb) (each 1 liang), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Tongcao (Tetrapanacis Medulla) (each 1.5 liang), Huashi (Talcum), Guixin (Cinnamomi Ramulus) (2 liang, alternatively recorded as 2 liang of Guixin), Kuizhong (Abutilonis Fructus) (0.5 sheng).
Crush the above six herbs, decoct in 9 sheng of water until reduced to 3 sheng, and divide into three doses.
Prescription for Dystocia with Retained Placenta in Transverse/Inverted Position, or Dead Fetus in Uterus with Mother's Vital Qi Exhausted:
Banxia (Pinelliae Rhizoma), Bailian (Bletillae Rhizoma) (each 2 liang).
Grind the above two herbs and sieve. Take one fang cun bi per dose: one dose for dystocia, two doses for transverse presentation, three doses for inverted presentation, and four doses for dead fetus. It is advisable to add Daizhe (Haematitum) and Qumai (Dianthus Herb), each 2 liang, for better efficacy.
Prescription for Dead Fetus in Uterus When Mother Is Ill and Needs Expulsion:
Finely chop Yu Bai Pi (Ulmus Cortex) and decoct to obtain 3 sheng of liquid; swallowing it will induce expulsion, even in difficult births.
Another prescription: Niuxi (Achyranthes Root) (3 liang), Kuizhong (Abutilonis Fructus) (1 sheng).
Decoct the above two herbs in 7 sheng of water until reduced to 3 sheng, and divide into three doses.
Another prescription: Zelan Ye (Lycopus Herb) (3 liang), Huashi (Talcum) (5 he), Sheng Mazh (Raw Sesame Oil) (2 he).
Decoct Zelan Ye in 1.5 sheng of water until reduced to 7 he, strain, then add Huashi and Mazh, and consume in one dose.
Prescription for Retained Placenta:
Boil Xiaomai (Tritici Granum) and Xiaodou (Sojae Semen Rubrum) until thick, drink the juice, and the placenta will be expelled immediately. This also treats transverse malpresentation.
Another prescription: Take fourteen Gua Ban (Trichosanthis Semen), swallow, and the placenta will be expelled immediately; this is excellent.
Another prescription: Decoct bowstrings in water, drink 5 he of the juice, and the placenta will be expelled. Alternatively, burn to ash and swallow with wine.
Another prescription: Dig up a pillar buried in the residence, take the soil directly beneath the pillar base, roughly the size of a chicken egg, mix with wine, and swallow; this is excellent.
Another prescription: Grind 3 cun of Mo (Inkstick) into powder and swallow with wine.
Another prescription: Take Puhuang (Lygodii Spora) the size of a jujube, swallow with Jinghua Shui (well water drawn at dawn).
Another prescription: Swallow 1 liang of Zhenzhu (Margarita) with Ku Jiu (Vinegar).
Another prescription: Mix one Ji Zi (Gallus Egg) with 1 he of Ku Jiu (Vinegar) and drink.
Prescription for Malpresentation with Retained Placenta:
Take soot from the kitchen roof, boil in wine for one boil, take the juice, and drink.
Prescription for Postpartum Retained Placenta:
Take soil from the bottom of a well, roughly the size of a chicken yolk, mix with Jinghua Shui (well water drawn at dawn), swallow, and the placenta will be expelled immediately.
Prescription for Dead Fetus in Uterus with Retained Placenta Ascending to Oppress the Heart:
Immediately take 3 sheng of Tu Yi Zhi (Ant Hill Soil), heat it thoroughly, place in a cloth bag, and apply as a hot compress to the epigastrium to prevent the placenta/fetus from ascending to oppress the heart; this is excellent.
Another prescription: Take three finger-widths of fine powder from soot in the stove flue, mix with water or wine, and swallow; the placenta will be expelled immediately. This applies when the fetal head presents.
Another prescription: Place the husband's inner garment over the well mouth; the placenta will be expelled immediately.
Another prescription: Burn the cloth used to cover the doorway during cooking and swallow the ash.
