The above ten herbs are crushed, sifted, and mixed with honey. Take five pills the size of a wu-tzu seed with wine, three times daily, gradually increasing the dose. Avoid pork, cold water, peaches, plums, raw scallions, raw vegetables, etc. (Note: This formula appears in other editions but originally lacked five herbs. According to the avoidance instructions mentioning peaches and plums, Baizhu should be used. It is likely that the complete formula for treating cold hernia and accumulations from *Gujin Luyan* is found in Volume 16.)
The *Fan Wang Fang* treats heat in the hands and feet, cold hernia in the abdomen, inability to eat or drink, and frequent heart and abdominal pain. Shiyiwu Qi'ao Fanhou Wan (Eleven Ingredients Seven-Boiled Post-Meal Pill) Formula.

Take seven pills on an empty stomach, three times daily. On March 17 of the first year of Longshuo, an imperial edict prescribed the Eleven Ingredients Seven-Boiled Formula. Avoid pork, cold water, vinegar products, raw scallions, etc. (From Volume 14. General Note: Excluding Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens and Poria, it should be nine-boiled; the current "seven-boiled" refers to the later addition of Cinnamomi Ramulus and Aconiti Radix Preparata.)
The *Jiyan Fang* treats cold hernia with inability to eat.
Take one sheng of Iris Tectori Rhizoma. Each day, take an amount the size of a walnut, mix with flour until cooked, boil, and swallow. Then, follow normal meals, taking it twice daily. Upon finishing the course, recovery is certain. It also eliminates all kinds of diseases within the abdomen, aids digestion, and nourishes muscles. Additionally, frequently heat bricks, wrap them in wool felt, and apply hot compresses to the affected area once daily, which is especially beneficial.
