晒干后研成粉末。用瓷器密封收藏。凡是遇到红肿症状，以及夏季火热季节时，用茶汤混合蜜水调敷。如果微热且即将化脓，用葱汤混合蜜水调敷。如果是漫肿无头、皮色不变的附骨疽、鹤膝风等，都用葱酒调和外敷。如果是天泡疮、火赤游丹、黄水疮，都用板蓝根叶捣汁调和。烫伤则用麻油调和。其他的引经药，则在临用时根据天时顺应病势来调配。

Moschus (5 fen), Borneolum Syntheticum (5 fen, i.e., Bingpian), Male and Female Caryophylli Flos (2 qian each), Scolopendra (7 pieces), Scorpio (7 pieces), Manis Squama (7 slices), Large Araneus (7 pieces, baked on tile). Add Borax (3 fen) for better effect. Grind all into fine powder together. Store in porcelain or stoneware vessels.

Trichosanthis Radix (1 liang), Phellodendri Cortex (5 liang), Curcumae Longae Rhizoma, Rheum Palmati Radix et Rhizoma (5 qian each), Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (5 qian), Zicuanpu Houpo (a type of Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex), Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, Atractylodis Rhizoma (2 liang each), Pinelliae Tuber (2 liang).
Dry and grind into powder. Store in porcelain vessels. Whenever encountering redness and swelling, or during the summer heat season, mix with tea soup and honey water for topical application. If there is slight heat and pus formation is imminent, mix with scallion soup and honey water for topical application. For diffuse swelling without a head, unchanged skin color, such as deep-seated carbuncles (Fugu Ju) and crane-knee disease (Hexi Feng), mix with scallion wine. For bullae, fiery wandering erysipelas, and yellow-water sores, mix with juice extracted from crushed Isatidis Folium. For burns, mix with sesame oil. Other guiding herbs should be selected at the time of use according to the season and disease progression.
Sichuan Aconiti Lateralis Radix Preparata and Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix Preparata (2 qian each), Asari Radix et Rhizoma (2 qian), Cinnamomi Ramulus (2 qian), Moschus (5 fen), Boswelliae Resina (5 fen), Myrrha (5 fen), Caryophylli Flos (2 qian), Aconiti Lateralis Radix Preparata (2 qian).
