Apply Saoxue San (Snow-Sweeping Powder), mixed with sesame oil to form a paste. After shaving the hair at the affected site, wash it with warm ash water that has been boiled and then cooled slightly. After washing, apply the medicine to the lesion; no further washing is needed after application. Continue applying the medicine daily until healing is complete.
Mix pig gallbladder juice with Jinshuang San (Golden Frost Powder) and apply externally as a paste.
Apply Jiezi You (Knot-Forming Oil) twice daily, morning and evening, to the ulcerated area. Healing typically occurs within five to six days. Avoid consuming triggering foods such as shrimp and crab, as well as fried, roasted, or oily foods. Consumption of these may cause the condition to spread and become difficult to cure.
This disease arises on the lower legs. In men, it is called "Rotting Leg" (Lan Tui); in women, it is called "Skirt Wind" (Qun Feng). It results from Qi stagnation and Blood stasis. Over years, it leads to foul-smelling rotting tissue that is repulsive. Initially, it may arise from scratching causing skin breakage, from a small sore enlarging, from exposure to steam from hot soup, or from ingesting toxic substances. Treatment involves taking an old toad, cutting open its abdomen, piercing several holes in its body, filling the holes with the toad's internal organs, and covering the external wound with the toad's body. Daily, decoct a soup of scallion and Sichuan pepper. When warm, wash the area once in the morning and once in the evening. Replace the toad dressing. Internally administer Xingxiao Wan (Awakening Elimination Pill), taken twice daily, morning and evening. After three days, take fresh herbs of Diding Cao (Viola Herba) and Dalili (Aralia Cordata Root) and crush them into a paste to fill the exterior of the wound. Cover with Wujiin Gao (Black Gold Ointment) and continue administering Xingxiao Wan daily. If clear fluid exudes from the skin, apply Wumei San (Five Beauties Powder) externally. If there is internal itching, apply Baihua Gao (White Flower Ointment). If there is a hard mass like stone inside, apply crushed raw Shanglu (Phytolaccae Radix). If blood frequently oozes from the hole, first sprinkle Sanchi powder (Panax Notoginseng Radix et Rhizoma) inside, then fill with crushed Niu Bang Ye (Arctii Folium) and root. Once the wound shrinks, stop using herbs for filling. Apply Baobao San (Eight Treasures Powder) daily and cover with Wujiin Gao to conclude treatment. For elderly patients with deficiency, administer tonifying formulas according to discretion.
Use Wujiin Gao (Black Gold Ointment). Cut it into a square plaster size matching the wound hole. Pierce 20–30 small holes in it. Apply the smooth side directly onto the hole. Daily, decoct Zihua Diding Tang (Purple-flowered Viola Decoction) to wash the hole and wash the plaster twice. Within three days, when toxic fluid drains completely and the color turns red and vibrant, sprinkle Shuifei Fulong San (Water-ground Dragon Earth Powder) and reapply the aforementioned plaster externally. Avoid prolonged standing or walking, sexual intercourse, and consumption of toxic foods. Women must wait until after menstruation before applying the plaster.
Take fir wood shavings and decoct them in water for warm washing. Then, mix Crab Roe (Xie Huang) and Talcum (Huashi) powders, blend with white honey, and apply externally.
