唇风多在下唇生，阳明胃经风火攻，初起发痒色红肿，久裂流水火燎疼。
【注】此证多生下唇，由阳明胃经风火凝结而成。初起发痒，色红作肿，日久破裂流
水，疼如火燎，又似无皮，如风盛则唇不时 动。俱内以双解通圣散服之，外以黄连膏抹之自愈。

双解通圣散
防风 荆芥 当归 白芍（酒炒） 连翘（去心） 白术（土炒） 川芎 薄荷 麻黄 栀子（各五
钱） 黄芩 石膏（ ） 桔梗（各一两） 甘草（生，二两） 滑石（三两）
共研粗末，每用五钱，水一盅半，煎八分，澄渣，温服。
【方歌】双解通圣胃火风，疏表清里膏防荆，归芍连翘芩术桔，麻黄栀草薄滑芎。
黄连膏（见鼻部鼻疮）
牙衄牙缝内出血，胃肾二经虚实热，实多口臭牙坚牢，虚者反此当分别。
【注】此证由热而成。当分虚实，无论大人小儿，若胃经实热者，则血出如涌，口必
臭而牙不动，宜服清胃汤，甚则服调胃承气汤，或用酒制大黄末三钱，以枳壳五钱煎汤，
少加童便调服，下黑粪即愈。若胃经虚火者，牙龈腐烂，淡血渗流不已，宜服二参汤及补
中益气汤加黄连、丹皮。若肾经虚者，血则点滴而出，牙亦微痛，口不臭而牙动，或落
者，治宜滋肾，有火者六味地黄丸；无火者七味地黄丸，俱加猴姜，随手应效。若疳积
气盛，兼服芦荟丸。外俱用小蓟散擦牙，随用青竹茹醋浸一宿，含漱甚效。
清胃汤
石膏（ ，四钱） 黄芩 生地（各一钱） 丹皮（一钱五分） 黄连 升麻（各一钱）
水二盅，煎八分，食后服。
【方歌】清胃阳明实火结，口臭相兼齿衄血，芩连生地升麻膏，丹皮同煎功效捷。
调胃承气汤
大黄（酒浸，四钱） 芒硝（三钱） 甘草（炙，二钱）
水三盅，煎一盅，去渣，少少温服。
【方歌】调胃承气实火攻，齿衄口臭用之灵，酒浸大黄芒硝草，胃热煎服立刻清。
二参汤
人参 元参（各等分）
水煎，温服。
【方歌】二参汤医虚火泛，龈腐渗流血水淡，人参元参各等分，水煎服下有神验。
芦荟丸
芦荟 子青皮 白雷丸 白芜荑 川黄连 胡黄连 鹤虱草（各一两） 木香（三钱） 麝香（一钱）
共研末，蒸饼糊丸如麻子大。每服一钱，空心清米汤送下。
【方歌】芦荟丸医积气盛，木麝青皮胡黄连，芜荑雷丸鹤虱草，川连同末蒸饼丸。
小蓟散
小蓟 百草霜 蒲黄（微炒） 香附子（醋浸晒干，各五钱）
上研细末，用搽牙上，半刻时，温茶漱之。
【方歌】小蓟散搽牙衄方，蒲黄微炒百草霜，香附同研为细末，揩牙止血功效强。
补中益气汤（见溃疡门）
六味地黄丸（见面部雀斑）
七味地黄丸（即桂附地黄丸减去附子，见面部颊疡）
唇风多发生于下唇，由阳明胃经的风火之邪侵袭所致。初起时患处发痒，颜色红且肿胀；日久则出现裂口，流出液体，疼痛剧烈如火烧燎一般。
【注】此证多生于下唇，是由阳明胃经的风火凝结而成。初起时发痒，色红肿胀，时间久了破裂流水，疼痛如火烧燎，又好像没有皮肤一样。如果风邪盛，嘴唇会不时颤动。治疗上，内服双解通圣散，外涂黄连膏，即可自愈。
双解通圣散
防风、荆芥、当归、白芍（酒炒）、连翘（去心）、白术（土炒）、川芎、薄荷、麻黄、栀子（各五钱）；黄芩、石膏（打碎）、桔梗（各一两）；甘草（生用，二两）；滑石（三两）。
以上药材共研为粗末，每次取五钱，加水一盅半，煎至八分，澄清药渣，温服。
【方歌】双解通圣治胃火与风邪，疏解表邪清泄里热用防风、荆芥，当归、白芍、连翘、黄芩、白术、桔梗，麻黄、栀子、甘草、薄荷、滑石、川芎。
黄连膏（见鼻部鼻疮条目）
牙衄指牙缝内出血，由胃和肾两经的虚实热邪引起。实证多见口臭、牙齿坚固；虚证则相反，应当加以区分。
【注】此证由热邪引起。应当分辨虚实。无论是成人还是儿童，如果是胃经实热，则出血如涌出，口中必臭而牙齿不松动，宜服用清胃汤，严重时服用调胃承气汤，或者使用酒制大黄末三钱，以枳壳五钱煎汤，加入少量童便调服，排出黑色粪便即愈。如果是胃经虚火，则牙龈腐烂，淡血渗出不断，宜服用二参汤及补中益气汤加黄连、丹皮。如果是肾经虚损，则血液点滴而出，牙齿微痛，口不臭但牙齿松动，甚至脱落，治疗宜滋补肾阴，有火的用六味地黄丸，无火的用七味地黄丸，均加猴姜（骨碎补），随手见效。如果是疳积气盛，兼服芦荟丸。外用小蓟散擦牙，随后用青竹茹醋浸一夜，含漱，效果很好。
清胃汤
石膏（打碎，四钱）、黄芩、生地（各一钱）、丹皮（一钱五分）、黄连、升麻（各一钱）。
水两盅，煎至八分，饭后服用。
【方歌】清胃汤治阳明实火结聚，口臭兼见齿衄出血，黄芩、黄连、生地、升麻、石膏同煎，丹皮配合，功效快捷。
调胃承气汤
大黄（酒浸，四钱）、芒硝（三钱）、甘草（炙，二钱）。
水三盅，煎至一盅，去渣，少量温服。
【方歌】调胃承气汤攻逐实火，齿衄口臭用之灵验，酒浸大黄、芒硝、甘草，胃热煎服立刻清除。

芦荟丸
芦荟、子青皮、白雷丸、白芜荑、川黄连、胡黄连、鹤虱草（各一两）；木香（三钱）；麝香（一钱）。
共研为末，用蒸饼糊制成如麻子大的丸剂。每次服一钱，空腹时用清米汤送下。
【方歌】芦荟丸医治积气盛，木香、麝香、青皮、胡黄连，芜荑、雷丸、鹤虱草，川连同末用蒸饼做丸。
小蓟散
小蓟、百草霜、蒲黄（微炒）、香附子（醋浸晒干，各五钱）。
以上研成细末，涂抹在牙齿上，片刻后，用温茶漱口。
Chilblains (Lip Wind) mostly occur on the lower lip, caused by wind-fire attacking the Stomach Meridian of Yangming. In the early stage, itching occurs with redness and swelling; if prolonged, fissures develop, fluid oozes out, and the pain is severe as if burning.
[Note] This condition mostly arises on the lower lip, formed by the coagulation of wind-fire in the Stomach Meridian of Yangming. Initially, there is itching, redness, and swelling. After a long time, it cracks and weeps fluid, with pain like burning, appearing as if the skin is missing. If wind pathogen is excessive, the lips may twitch frequently. Internally, Shuangjie Tongsheng San (Double-Resolving Holy Dispensation) should be taken; externally, Huanglian Gao (Coptis Ointment) should be applied for self-healing.
Shuangjie Tongsheng San (Double-Resolving Holy Dispensation)
Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), Jingjie (Schizonepetae Herba), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Baishao (Paeoniae Radix Alba, stir-fried with wine), Lianqiao (Forsythiae Fructus, heart removed), Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma, stir-fried with soil), Chuanxiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Bohe (Menthae Haplocalycis Herba), Mahuang (Ephedrae Herba), Zhizi (Gardeniae Fructus) (each 5 qian); Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix), Shigao (Gypsum Fibrosum, crushed), Jiegeng (Platycodonis Radix) (each 1 liang); Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, raw, 2 liang); Huashi (Talcum, 3 liang).
Grind all into coarse powder. Each dose uses 5 qian, added with 1.5 cups of water, decocted to 0.8 cup. Clarify the dregs and take warm.
[Fangge - Formula Song] Shuangjie Tongsheng treats stomach fire and wind, dispersing exterior and clearing interior with Fangfeng and Jingjie; Danggui, Baishao, Lianqiao, Huangqin, Baizhu, Jiegeng; Mahuang, Zhizi, Gancao, Bohe, Huashi, Chuanxiong.
Huanglian Gao (See Nasal Part: Nasal Sores entry)
Tooth Bleeding (Ya Nu) refers to bleeding from the gum margins, caused by deficiency-excess heat in the Stomach and Kidney meridians. Excess patterns often present with bad breath and firm teeth; deficiency patterns are the opposite and should be distinguished.
[Note] This condition is caused by heat pathogens. One must distinguish between excess and deficiency. Whether in adults or children, if it is Stomach meridian excess heat, blood flows like a gush, accompanied by bad breath but firm teeth. Qingwei Tang (Clear the Stomach Decoction) is suitable; for severe cases, Tiaowei Chengqi Tang (Regulate the Stomach and Purge the Intestines Decoction) can be used, or 3 qian of Jiuhuang (Wine-processed Rhubarb) powder mixed with a decoction of 5 qian Zhike (Aurantii Fructus) and a small amount of Tongbian (Child's Urine) for oral administration. Healing occurs upon passage of black stool. If it is Stomach meridian deficiency fire, the gums rot and pale blood seeps continuously. Ershen Tang (Two Ginsengs Decoction) and Buzhong Yiqi Tang (Tonify the Middle and Augment the Qi Decoction) plus Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma) and Danpi (Moutan Cortex) are suitable. If it is Kidney meridian deficiency, blood drips out drop by drop, teeth ache slightly, breath is not foul, but teeth are loose or even fall out. Treatment should nourish the Kidneys. For those with fire, Liuwei Dihuang Wan (Six-Ingredient Rehmannia Pill) is used; for those without fire, Qiwei Dihuang Wan (Seven-Ingredient Rehmannia Pill) is used. Both should include Houjiang (Drynariae Rhizoma) for immediate effect. If accumulation qi is excessive, Lulu Wan (Aloe Pill) should be taken concurrently. Externally, Xiaoji San (Small Thistle Powder) should be applied to brush the teeth, followed by rinsing with Qingzhuru (Bamboo Sap) soaked in vinegar overnight, which is very effective.
Qingwei Tang (Clear the Stomach Decoction)
Shigao (Gypsum Fibrosum, crushed, 4 qian), Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix), Shengdi (Rehmanniae Radix Preparata) (each 1 qian), Danpi (Moutan Cortex, 1.5 qian), Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma), Shengma (Cimicifugae Rhizoma) (each 1 qian).
Add 2 cups of water, decoct to 0.8 cup, take after meals.
[Fangge - Formula Song] Qingwei Tang clears Yangming excess fire accumulation, treating bad breath and tooth bleeding; Huangqin, Huanglian, Shengdi, Shengma, and Shigao decocted together, with Danpi, yields swift efficacy.
Tiaowei Chengqi Tang (Regulate the Stomach and Purge the Intestines Decoction)
Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, wine-soaked, 4 qian), Mangxiao (Natrii Sulfas, 3 qian), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, honey-fried, 2 qian).
Add 3 cups of water, decoct to 1 cup. Remove dregs, take small amounts warm.
[Fangge - Formula Song] Tiaowei Chengqi Tang attacks excess fire, effective for tooth bleeding and bad breath; wine-soaked Dahuang, Mangxiao, and Gancao, when decocted for stomach heat, clear it instantly.
Ershen Tang (Two Ginsengs Decoction)
Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma), Yuan Shen (Scrophulariae Radix) (equal parts).
Decoct in water, take warm.
[Fangge - Formula Song] Ershen Tang treats floating deficiency fire, rotting gums with pale bloody discharge; Renshen and Yuan Shen in equal parts, decocted in water, yield miraculous results.
Lulu Wan (Aloe Pill)
Lulu (Aloes), Ziqingpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Viride), Bai Leiwu (Polyporus Umbellatus), Bai Wuyi (Meliosmae Folium), Chuan Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma), Hu Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma, processed), Heshicao (Dictamni Radix) (each 1 liang); Muxiang (Aucklandiae Radix, 3 qian); Shexiang (Moschus, 1 qian).
Grind into powder, make pills using steamed bread paste, size of hemp seeds. Take 1 qian per dose, swallowed with clear rice soup on an empty stomach.
[Fangge - Formula Song] Lulu Wan treats excessive accumulation qi; Muxiang, Shexiang, Qingpi, Hu Huanglian, Wuyi, Leiwu, Heshicao, and Chuan Huanglian are ground together and made into pills with steamed bread.
Xiaoji San (Small Thistle Powder)
Xiaoji (Cirsii Herba), Baicaoshuang (Carbonized Herb Ash), Puhuang (Typhae Pollen, lightly stir-fried), Xiangfuzi (Cyperi Rhizoma, vinegar-soaked and sun-dried) (each 5 qian).
Grind all into fine powder. Apply to the teeth. After a short while, rinse with warm tea.
[Fangge - Formula Song] Xiaoji San is a formula for brushing teeth to stop bleeding; lightly stir-fried Puhuang mixed with Baicaoshuang, ground together with Xiangfu into fine powder, strong efficacy in stopping bleeding by rubbing teeth.
