The Pericardium Meridian of Hand-Jueyin originates three cun below the axilla, travels inward along the lateral side of the axilla and breast, descends between the two tendons in the elbow, and terminates at the tip of the middle finger of the palm.
[Note] The Pericardium Meridian of Hand-Jueyin (Shǒu Juéyīn Xīnbāoluò Jīng) originates three cun below the axilla, approximately one cun lateral to the nipple. It turns outward and upward from the axilla, follows the medial aspect of the arm into the elbow, descends between the two tendons into the palm, and terminates at the tip of the middle finger.
The Sanjiao Meridian of Hand-Shaoyang originates at the tip of the fourth finger (ring finger), located between the two bones on the lateral aspect of the wrist and forearm. It passes through the elbow, ascends to the shoulder, neck, and behind the ear, winding above the anterior aspect of the ear near the temporal artery.
[Note] The Sanjiao Meridian of Hand-Shaoyang (Shǎo Yáng Sānjiāo Jīng) originates on the lateral side of the little finger and ring finger, approximately the width of a leek leaf from the corner of the nail. From the interosseous space between these fingers, it ascends to the midpoint between the two bones on the lateral aspect of the wrist and forearm, passes through the elbow, and ascends to the shoulder; from the shoulder, it goes to the nape of the neck, behind the ear, winds above the upper angle of the ear, and descends along the temporal artery in front of the ear to terminate.
The Gallbladder Meridian of Foot-Shaoyang originates at the outer canthus of the eye, winds around the anterior and posterior aspects of the ear, ascends to the forehead and vertex, passes behind the vertex, down the lateral neck, shoulder, axilla, and hypochondrium, crosses the knee, ankle, and dorsum of the foot, and terminates on the lateral side of the little toe and second toe.
[Note] The Gallbladder Meridian of Foot-Shaoyang (Zú Shǎo Yáng Dǎn Jīng) originates at the outer canthus, obliquely traverses the anterior aspect of the ear, follows the posterior aspect of the ear, ascends to reach the forehead and vertex, runs along the lateral neck behind the vertex, passes the shoulder and descends into the axilla, travels along the lateral body to the hypochondrium, descends the leg crossing the knee, runs along the lateral aspect of the knee, reaches the anterior aspect of the lateral malleolus, moves medially along the dorsum of the foot, and terminates on the lateral side of the little toe and second toe, approximately the width of a leek leaf from the corner of the nail.
The Liver Meridian of Foot-Jueyin originates at the area of pubic hair (where hairs cluster on the big toe), travels along the dorsum of the foot and between the medial malleolus, ascends to encircle the genitalia and hypochondrium, and ascends to the lower end of the second rib beneath the breast.
[Note] The Liver Meridian of Foot-Jueyin (Zú Juéyīn Gān Jīng) originates posterior to the big toe, at the area of clustered hair approximately the width of a leek leaf from the nail. It travels along the dorsal surface of the foot, passes the medial malleolus, ascends circumventing the knee, goes straight up to encircle the external genitalia, curves outward to enter the hypochondrium, and ascends obliquely to terminate at the lower end of the second rib beneath the breast.
