At the initial stage of Shi Ju (Stone Scrofula), it resembles E He (Malignant Nodule), is hard and painless, and gradually enlarges to the size of a fist. Immediately administer Yang He Tang (Warming Yang Decoction) and Xi Huang Wan (Tiger's Gallbladder Pill) on alternate days, with intermittent use of Zi Yuan Dan (Purple Origin Pill), which can resolve the condition.
If red veins appear on the affected area, it indicates that the interior has connected with the Blood Sea (Xue Hai), which is incurable; if black spots appear, it signifies spontaneous ulceration, which will bleed upon rupture and lead to death within three days; if small, uneven lumps resembling rocky cliffs appear, it predicts severe pain after three hundred days, leading to death due to non-ulceration. Only when green veins appear, indicating the formation of yellow pus internally, is the condition treatable. Instruct the patient to take Yang He Tang daily. Externally, apply fresh Phytolaccae Radix (Shang Lu Gen) mashed into a paste with a little salt. After several days, itching occurs; after half a month, the skin wrinkles. Daily application softens the area and forms a hanging pus sac. Puncture it with a silver needle. Administer Qian Jin Nei Tuo San (Thousand Gold Internal Support Powder) combined with Shu Di Huang (Prepared Rehmannia Root), doubling the dose of Sheng Huang Qi (Raw Astragalus Root) (each one liang), decocted together with Yang He Tang, using a large dose for tonification and supporting expulsion. After ten doses, apply Yang He Jie Ning Gao (Warming Yang Resolving Hardness Plaster) covering the entire base, leaving only the lesion open. Apply bandaging methods to ensure continuity of the skin membrane, facilitating complete pus discharge and tissue regeneration. Subsequently, administer Shi Quan Da Bu Tang (Ten Great Tonifying Decoction) and Jia Wei Bao Yuan Tang (Modified Protecting Origin Decoction) (Ginseng and Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome should not be honey-fried.) until recovery.

Bandaging Method (General Method.)
Human Qi and Blood circulate day and night, completing cycles without cessation. Due to cold-phlegm or wind-dampness stagnating in the muscles, pain may occur, accompanied by fever. When pus has not yet formed, use Jia Wei Er Chen Tang (Modified Two-Chen Decoction) decocted with Yang He Wan (Warming Yang Pill); several doses can completely resolve it. After resolution, follow up with Xiao Jin Dan (Little Golden Pill), seven pills, to prevent recurrence. If the skin color changes slightly and pain is unbearable, use Yang He Tang to stop pain and eliminate residual pathology before pus formation, causing already formed pus to rupture without pain; this is the method of transforming a major abscess into a minor one. If the apex of the lesion becomes soft indicating pus presence, puncture it immediately. If the pus is mostly white, apply Yang He Jie Ning Gao. However, after ulceration in this condition, toxic phlegm tends to spread, leading to varied manifestations. Therefore, within five days of initial ulceration, continue administering Xiao Jin Dan, ten pills, to prevent future complications, followed by alternating Xi Huang Wan and Yang He Tang morning and evening, to dissipate toxic phlegm and achieve recovery.
For children unable to take decoctions, use Xiao Jin Dan dissolved at the onset until resolution; after ulceration, administer Xiao Jin Dan daily to eliminate remaining hardness. Puncture when pain ceases. Once toxins are exhausted, use Bao Yuan Tang (Protecting Origin Decoction) (Ginseng and Licorice Root used raw) with five fen of Cinnamon Bark, taken daily for recovery.
For pregnant women suffering from this, inquire about the gestational age. If less than six months, Xi Huang Wan containing Moschus (Musk) is contraindicated; only Yang He Tang should be used for cure. After recovery, take three to four additional doses to substitute for Xiao Jin Dan, preventing spread.
For chronic ulcerations where the patient suffers from Spleen deficiency and Qi stagnation, first administer Liu Jun Zi Tang (Six Gentlemen Decoction) plus Chuan Xiong (Szechwan Lovage Rhizome) and Dang Gui (Angelica Sinensis Root) for several doses, (Ginseng and Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome used raw.) Wait for appetite to normalize, then proceed with previous treatments.
