When pus is mature but the sore does not ulcerate, the lesion is not hot, appetite is poor, and stools are loose, it indicates Spleen deficiency (Spleen Qi deficiency); treatment should employ tonification and suppuration-promotion with warming of the middle jiao. If pus is clear or excessive, the sore opening is scattered, and flesh fails to regenerate, it indicates interior deficiency with a tendency toward transformation into severe symptoms; vigorous tonification is required. Although necrotic tissue has detached, new flesh grows slowly and appears frost-bitten in color, indicating cold flesh and cold muscles; substantial warming and tonification of Qi and Blood are needed. After ulceration, if there is poor appetite, mental restlessness, insomnia, fever, and thirst, it indicates weak Spleen and Yin deficiency; Zhongyi Yiqi Tang (Supplement the Middle and Augment Qi Decoction) should be used. If the body is cool, pulse is fine, fatigue is present, speech is reluctant, and food tastes bland, it indicates Spleen weakness; awakening the Spleen and assisting the Stomach is indicated. If Wind-Cold invades the sore opening, causing the skin to turn white, split, and fail to contract, external application combined with internal warming tonification is appropriate. If after ulceration the face is sallow, muscles are emaciated, pus is clear and thin, and the lesion color is pale, aromatic and drying herbs that assist the Spleen should be used. If the pulse is large but forceless, or fine, choppy, and slightly deep, accompanied by spontaneous sweating and a cool body, it indicates dual deficiency of Qi and Blood; vigorous tonification is required. If there is bleeding or excessive pus, with five-palm heat, extreme dryness, and insomnia, it indicates collapse of Yang; urgent tonification is necessary. If the sore has healed but re-ulcerates due to sexual exhaustion or sudden acute stress, assistance in tonifying Qi and Blood is still required.
The left and right sides of the back are sites for Ju (deep abscesses) and Yong (superficial sores); the arms, shoulders, and upper limbs present similarly. Lung Ju is located on the right, while Lung Yong is on the left; Feng Yong (Honeycomb Abscess) occurs near the throat on both sides. Rui Du (Sharp Toxicity) is seen on the right behind the ear, while Yao Ju (Early Death Abscess) meets on the left behind the ear. Sores on both shoulders are named Da Shou (Hand-Clasping). Jing Ju (Well Abscess) occurs only at the heart center. Liu Zhu (Flowing Note) spreads like vines, occurring either below the heart or level with the navel. Xie Ju (Costal Abscess) arises under the ribs; Yin Ju (Yin Abscess) generally occurs near the Jimen acupoint. Chuan Huai Ju (Ankle-Piercing Abscess) occurs below the Guxi point; Hong Kong Jiao (Hong Kong Foot/Gout/Tinea) originally arises from the sole of the foot. The left side presents as Bian Du (Venereal Swelling), the right as Yu Kou (Fish Mouth); He Xi Feng (Crane Knee Wind) forms from the Xiyang point. Sores below the shoulder and abscesses in the axilla, as well as Qi Yong (Qi Abscess) above and below the throat, require medical treatment. Dui Ju (Opposing Abscess) at the Mai Mai area should be remembered; it penetrates the bone base three cun apart. Hong Si Ding (Red Thread Carbuncle) rises from the hand; E Zi Hou (Caterpillar Throat) follows inside the mouth. Shen Ju (Kidney Abscess) arises on the left and right of the kidneys; Sanli acupoint outbreaks and Fu Yin Ju occur here. Xia Yong (Fright Abscess) is four cun from the navel; You Yong (Secluded Abscess) is three cun higher. Chang Yong (Intestinal Abscess) protrudes from the navel; Xiong Ju (Chest Abscess) and Ru Zi Yong (Nipple Abscess) are in the Heart and Lung regions. He Gu Ding (Union Valley Carbuncle) is named Hu Kou (Tiger's Mouth); She Tou (Snake Head) and Yu Fu (Fish Belly) carbuncles meet at the fingertips. One Ju behind the head is named Yu Zhen (Jade Pillow); do not treat it as an ordinary sore. Jian Ju (Shoulder Abscess) and Le Ju (Joy Abscess) reside on the right hand; Shi Liu Ju (Pomegranate Abscess) is three fen above the elbow. Zuo Yuan Yin (Left Origin Yin) and Right Dang Ju (Right Groin Abscess) arise; Yao Gu Yin Bao Ju (Bone-Biting Yin Bao Abscess) generates above the Yinbao acupoint. Zhou Ju (Continent Abscess) is above the kidney on the leg attached to the bone; Fo Ding Ju (Buddha Top Abscess) generates at the top of the brain (Baihui). Human toxic sores must be carefully remembered, ensuring patients achieve immediate peace and life. Quan Gu Ding (Cheekbone Carbuncle) and Chi Shang Ju (Lip Upper Abscess); hairline outbreaks are also Ju. Mei Zhong Feng (Wind in Eyebrow) invades the brain from beside the eyebrow; Hei Ding (Black Carbuncle) in the ear is not rare. Nasal Ding (Nose Carbuncle) requires rapid treatment; Tou Nao Ju (Brain-Piercing Abscess) originates at the hairline base. Mei Biao Ju (Eyebrow Blister Abscess) can be highly toxic; Jia Ding (Cheek Carbuncle) resembles a fish eye near the cheek. Ma Dao Luo Li (Scimitar Scrofula) and Qi Ying Chuang (Qi Goiter Wound) arise from one Qi in the neck region. Huo Du Long Quan (Fire Toxic Dragon Spring) is above and below the lips; Dui Kou Ju (Opposite Mouth Abscess) originates from the lower back. Ya Gen Chi Shang Yong (Gum Lip Upper Sore) is no different; Ya Xia Ding (Lower Tooth Carbuncle) belongs to the Ding category. Ding treating protrusions in the tooth gap; do not treat as common human sores. Heart, Liver, Spleen, Lung, and Kidney Yong and Ju should be treated by viewing chest acupoints. Additionally, Huang Tou (Yellow Head) and Bai Pao (White Blister) sores appear without fixed location and move swiftly. Zuo Ma (Sitting Horse) is on the left, Xia Ma (Down Horse) on the right; suspicion lies at the tail bone tip and cheek mouth. This disease kills and causes fatal outcomes; fire attack and urgent medical intervention must not be delayed. Women's breasts have several types: high swelling indicates Yong, hardness indicates Ju. Ru Yan (Breast Rock) is truly a malignant condition, swollen like stubborn stone, breaking like ruins. Niu Kou Zhi Feng (Button Wind) arises in the neck; Dai Feng Chuang (Belt Wind Wound) needs treatment at the feet. Shi Chuang (Damp Sores) and other diseases generally reside on the legs. Infant Zou Ma Lan Ya Gan (Running Horse Rotten Tooth Caries) shows black rot spreading with unbearable odor. Chi You Dan Du (Red Roaming Erysipelas) covers the whole body; E Kou Chuang (Goat Mouth Thrush) mosses over the entire mouth. Feng Chuang Nai Xuan (Wind Sore Milk Lichen) often causes itching; Xue Guan Nong Ke (Blood Filling Pus Nest) causes pain and discomfort. Heart and Spleen Heat syndromes, including Kou Gan (Mouth Caries) and Zhong She (Heavy Tongue), are viewed similarly.
