茵芋（一两半） 枳壳（一两，麸炒至微黄，去瓤） 当归（一两，锉碎，微炒） 荆芥（一两） 细辛（三分）。以上药材，捣碎过筛制成散剂。每次服用四钱，用水一中盏，加入生姜半分，煎至六分，滤去药渣。不限时候，温服。
治疗中风，口眼歪斜，手脚活动不利，风邪入脏腑，神志昏闷不语，腰脊像散开一样无力，难以俯仰，骨节寒冷疼痛，心中烦闷。适宜服用独活散方。
独活（一两） 羌活（一两） 川芎（三分） 桂心（三分） 赤茯苓（一两） 附子（一两，炮裂，去皮脐） 人参（三分）。以上药材，捣碎过筛制成散剂。每次服用四钱，用水一中盏，煎至五分，滤去药渣，加入竹沥一合，再煮沸一两分钟。不限时候，温服。
治疗中风，突然跌倒不知人事，以及口眼歪斜，适宜服用天麻散方。
天麻（一两） 麒麟竭（一两） 白僵蚕（一两，微炒） 干蝎（一两，微炒） 防风（一两，去芦头） 犀角屑（一两）。以上药材，捣碎过筛制成散剂。每次服用二钱，用温水调下。
治疗中风口眼歪斜，痰壅头痛，适宜服用酸枣仁散方。
酸枣仁（一两，微炒） 羚羊角屑（一两） 丹参（一两） 防风（一两，去芦头） 汉防己（一两） 甘草（一分，炙微黄，锉）。以上药材，捣碎过筛制成散剂。每次服用二钱，不限时候，用温酒调下。
治疗中风口眼歪斜，言语不清，适宜服用天麻丸方。
天麻（一两） 川芎（一两） 白僵蚕（一两，微炒） 白附子（一两，炮裂） 天南星（一两，炮裂） 防风（一两，去芦头） 麝香（一分，细研）。以上药材，捣碎过筛，炼蜜为丸，如梧桐子大。每次服用，不限时候，用温酒调下三十丸。
治疗风邪中于面部，牵引口角偏斜，中于耳部，牙关紧急，舌体转动不灵的方法。
牡蛎（一两，烧成粉） 白矾（一两，烧至汁尽） 附子（一两，炮裂，去皮脐） 灶心黄土（一分）。以上药材，捣碎过筛制成散剂。每次服用二钱，用温水调下，不限时候。
治疗中风口眼歪斜的方法。
取生长在树东边的树枝上的蝉蜕（七月七日收集，数量不限）。
以上药材细研成粉，加入寒食面，用醋调成糊状。如果向左歪斜，涂抹右侧口角；如果向右歪斜，涂抹左侧口角。等到口正后，立即用热水清洗掉。
又一方。
取栝蒌绞取汁液，和大麦面，和做成饼子，烤热后熨贴患处，直到口正为止。不要熨烫过度。
又一方。
取蜘蛛子，摩擦其偏斜紧急处，叩齿直到口正为止。也可以对着火摩擦。
又一方。
鳖甲（一两） 川乌头（一两）。以上两味药生用，捣罗成末，用醋调涂患处。想要口正时就擦拭掉。
治疗中风口眼歪斜，肉桂熨法。
肉桂（一两半，锉去粗皮，捣罗成末）。以上用酒一大盏，调匀肉桂，用慢火煎成膏。离火很久后，用勺子摊在一片帛上，贴在腮上，频繁更换。患左贴右，患右贴左。
治疗中风，吹着导致口偏的方法。
以上取蓖麻东西方向枝条上的种子，各七粒，研碎。涂在手心中，用热水一瓷碗，放在手心上。良久，看口正即止。
治疗中风，口眼歪斜立效方。
以上取巴豆七枚，去皮烂研。涂左手心治右边歪斜，涂右手心治左边歪斜。仍以暖水一盏，安向手心。须臾，口正即止。
Wind-pathogen invades the Foot-Yangming Meridian and Hand-Taiyang Meridian. Upon encountering cold, the sinews become tense and draw upon the cheek, thus causing deviation of the mouth and eyes (Koumian Pianxie), abnormal speech, and the inability to gaze rapidly.
For treating deviation of the mouth and eyes due to wind-stroke, with uncoordinated movement of hands and feet, if wind enters the Zang organs, speech becomes inarticulate, and the mind is confused and oppressed, it is suitable to take Fangfeng San (Saposhnikovia Powder).

Each dose is 4 qian, decocted in one zhong of water until reduced to five fen, filtered, then add Zhuli (Bamboo Juice, 1 he), and boil for two more boils.
For treating wind-stroke with deviation of the mouth and eyes, spasticity of the four limbs, and slurred speech, it is suitable to take Qianghuo San (Notopterygium Powder).
Qianghuo (Radix Notopterygii, 1 liang) Zhike (Fructus Aurantii, 3 fen, stir-fried with bran until slightly yellow, remove pith) Manjingzi (Fructus Viticis, 1 liang) Xixin (Herba Asari, 3 fen) Guixin (Cortex Cinnamomi, 3 fen) Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis, 1 liang). The above medicines are crushed, sifted, and made into a powder. For treating hemiplegia with deviation of the mouth and eyes, slurred speech, and spasticity of the four limbs, it is suitable to take Yinyu San (Ilex Powder).
Yinyu (Caulis Ilicis Cornutae, 1.5 liang) Zhike (Fructus Aurantii, 1 liang, stir-fried with bran until slightly yellow, remove pith) Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis, 1 liang, sliced and lightly stir-fried) Jingjie (Herba Schizonepetae, 1 liang) Xixin (Herba Asari, 3 fen). For treating wind-stroke with deviation of the mouth and eyes, uncoordinated movement of hands and feet, wind entering the Fu and Zang organs, confusion and muteness, weakness of the waist and spine as if dislocated, difficulty in bending and stretching, cold pain in bones and joints, and heart vexation, it is suitable to take Duhuo San (Angelica Pubescens Powder).
Duhuo (Radix Angelicae Pubescentis, 1 liang) Qianghuo (Radix Notopterygii, 1 liang) Xiong (Radix Chuanxiong, 3 fen) Guixin (Cortex Cinnamomi, 3 fen) Chi Fuling (Poria cum Radice, 1 liang) Fuzi (Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata, 1 liang, processed, peel and navel removed) Renshen (Radix Ginseng, 3 fen). For treating wind-stroke with sudden collapse and loss of consciousness, as well as deviation of the mouth and eyes, it is suitable to take Tianma San (Gastrodia Powder).
Tianma (Rhizoma Gastrodiae, 1 liang) Qijie (Lignum Sappan, 1 liang) Bai Jiangcan (Bombyx Batryticatus, 1 liang, lightly stir-fried) Ganxie (Scorpio, 1 liang, lightly stir-fried) Fangfeng (Radix Saposhnikoviae, 1 liang, remove rhizome head) Xijiao (Cornu Rhinocerotis, 1 liang). For treating wind-stroke with deviation of the mouth and eyes, phlegm obstruction, and headache, it is suitable to take Suanzaoren San (Ziziphus Seed Powder).
Suanzaoren (Semen Ziziphi Spinosae, 1 liang, lightly stir-fried) Lingyang Jiaoxie (Cornu Saigae Tataricae, 1 liang) Danshen (Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae, 1 liang) Fangfeng (Radix Saposhnikoviae, 1 liang, remove rhizome head) Han Fangji (Radix Stephaniae Tetrandrae, 1 liang) Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae, 1 fen, roasted until slightly yellow, sliced). For treating wind-stroke with deviation of the mouth and eyes and abnormal speech, it is suitable to take Tianma Wan (Gastrodia Pill).
Tianma (Rhizoma Gastrodiae, 1 liang) Xiong (Radix Chuanxiong, 1 liang) Bai Jiangcan (Bombyx Batryticatus, 1 liang, lightly stir-fried) Baifuzi (Rhizoma Typhonii, 1 liang, processed) Tiannanxing (Rhizoma Arisaematis, 1 liang, processed) Fangfeng (Radix Saposhnikoviae, 1 liang, remove rhizome head) Shexiang (Moschus, 1 fen, finely ground). The above medicines are crushed, sifted, mixed with refined honey, and formed into pills the size of Wutong seeds. Each dose is taken with warm wine, at any time.
For treating wind striking the face, drawing the mouth to one side, striking the ear, causing trismus, and immobility of the tongue.
Moli (Concha Ostreae, 1 liang, calcined to powder) Baifan (Alumen, 1 liang, calcined until juice is exhausted) Fuzi (Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata, 1 liang, processed, peel and navel removed) Zaozhong Huangtu (Cinis Cauterii, 1 fen). The above medicines are crushed, sifted, and made into a powder. Each dose is 2 qian, taken with warm water, at any time.
For treating deviation of the mouth and eyes due to wind-stroke.
Take cicada sloughs from branches growing on the east side of trees (collected on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month, quantity unlimited).
The above is finely ground into powder, mixed with Hanshi mian (Han Shi flour), and adjusted with vinegar to form a paste. If deviated to the left, apply to the right corner of the mouth; if deviated to the right, apply to the left corner of the mouth. Once the mouth is straight, immediately wash off with hot water.

Extract juice from Gualou (Fructus Trichosanthis), mix with Damai mian (Hordeum vulgare flour), form into cakes, roast until hot, and apply as a compress to the affected area until the mouth is straight. Do not overheat.

Apply spider eggs to the tight/deviated area, clench teeth until the mouth is straight. Alternatively, rub towards fire.

Biejia (Carapax et Plastrum Testudinis, 1 liang) Chuan Wutou (Radix Aconiti Kusnezoffii, 1 liang). Use both raw, grind into powder, adjust with vinegar and apply. Wipe off when the mouth is straight.
Treating deviation of the mouth and eyes due to wind-stroke, Rougui compress method.
Rougui (Cortex Cinnamomi, 1.5 liang, sliced, coarse bark removed, ground into powder). Mix with one zhong of wine, blend evenly, simmer over low heat into a paste. Remove from heat and let cool for a long time. Spread onto a piece of silk with a spoon, apply to the cheek. Frequently replace. Apply to the opposite side: if affected on the left, apply to the right; if affected on the right, apply to the left.
Treating wind-stroke causing deviation of the mouth by blowing.
Take seven seeds of Bimazu (Fructus Ricini) from branches growing east and west respectively, crush them. Apply to the palm of the hand. Place a porcelain bowl of hot water on the palm. After a while, check if the mouth is straight.
Treating wind-stroke with immediate effect for deviation of the mouth and eyes.
Take seven seeds of Badou (Semen Crotonis), remove skin, crush thoroughly. Apply to the left palm to treat right-sided deviation, apply to the right palm to treat left-sided deviation. Place a cup of warm water towards the palm. Soon, the mouth will be straight.
