小儿疮，是由风湿之邪搏结于血气所形成。多发生于手足关节腕部之间，呈环状分布，搔抓后感到瘙痒疼痛，且有浸淫扩散之势，因此被称为“小儿疮”。
治疗小儿疮，以及湿癣的方剂：蛇床子散方。
药材：蛇床子（一分）、附子（一分）、雄黄（一分，需细研）、吴茱萸（一分）、白矾（一分）、苦参（一两）。
制法与用法：将上述药物捣碎并过细罗筛成散剂，敷于疮面上，每日使用三次。
治疗小儿疮引起的瘙痒疼痛的方剂：螺壳散方。
药材：螺壳（一两，选用质地松烂者）、乱发（半两，烧成灰）、龙胆末（半两）、胡粉（半两）。
制法与用法：将上述药物细细研磨成散剂，用油脚（油脂沉淀物或植物油）调和后涂抹患处。
治疗小儿疮，以及疥癣、恶疮的方剂：水银膏方。
药材：水银（一两）、白矾（一两）、蛇床子（一两）、黄连（一两，去须根）。
制法与用法：除水银外，将其他药物捣碎过罗筛成粉末。取腊月猪脂七两，加入水银调和研磨，直至看不见水银颗粒为止，即制成膏剂，敷于疮上，效果神奇。
治疗小儿湿疮的方剂：
药材：胡燕窠（一个，只取巢中宽大容纳幼鸟的部分，其余部分不用）。
制法与用法：将其捣碎并过细罗筛成散剂。每次使用时，先用水煎煮甘草，加入少许盐做成汤剂，待温度适宜时洗净疮面，擦干后，将药散敷于其上。
治疗小儿疮，以及疥癣的方剂：
药材：苦参（三两，锉碎）。
制法与用法：将上述药物捣碎过罗筛成粉末，用蜂蜜调和后涂抹患处。
治疗小儿干、湿疮，以及疥癣的方剂：
药材：楝根皮、葱白。
制法与用法：取楝树根皮和葱白，捣烂如膏状，用猪脂调和后涂抹患处。
治疗小儿久治不愈的疮，以及疥疮，内有黄水渗出的方剂：
药材：羊蹄草根。
制法与用法：取羊蹄草根捣烂，与白蜜混合，绞取汁液涂抹患处。
Pediatric sores (Xiao'er Chuang) are caused by the binding of wind-dampness pathogens with blood and qi. They mostly occur around the joints and wrists of the hands and feet, presenting in a circinate pattern. Scratching induces itching and pain, and the lesions tend to spread and exude fluid, hence the name "pediatric sores."
Formula for treating pediatric sores and damp tinea corporis: Shechuangzi San (Cnidium Seed Powder).
Ingredients: Cnidii Fructus (Shechuangzi, 1 fen), Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata (Fuzi, 1 fen), Realgar (Xionghuang, 1 fen, finely ground), Evodiae Fructus (Wuzhuyu, 1 fen), Alumen (Baifan, 1 fen), Sophorae Flavescentis Radix (Kushen, 1 liang).
Preparation and Administration: Pulverize the above ingredients through a fine sieve to make a powder. Apply the powder to the affected area three times daily.
Formula for treating itching and pain associated with pediatric sores: Luoke San (Concha Snail Powder).
Ingredients: Concha Snail (Luoke, 1 liang, preferably soft/decayed shells), Capillus Humanus Carbonisatus (Luancha, 0.5 liang, burnt to ash), Gentianae Radix Powder (Longdan Mo, 0.5 liang), Cerussa (Hufen, 0.5 liang).
Preparation and Administration: Finely grind the above ingredients into a powder. Mix with oil residue or vegetable oil and apply topically.
Formula for treating pediatric sores, as well as scabies, tinea, and malignant ulcers: Shuiyin Gao (Mercury Ointment).
Ingredients: Hydrargyrum (Shuiyin, 1 liang), Alumen (Baifan, 1 liang), Cnidii Fructus (Shechuangzi, 1 liang), Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian, 1 liang, mustards removed).
Preparation and Administration: Except for mercury, pulverize the remaining ingredients through a sieve. Take seven liang of lard from the twelfth lunar month, add the mercury, and grind/mix until the mercury particles are no longer visible, forming an ointment. Apply to the sores for miraculous effects.
Formula for treating pediatric damp sores:
Ingredients: Hirundinis Nidus (Huyanke, one nest; use only the broad part where chicks reside, discard the rest).
Preparation and Administration: Grind and sieve into a fine powder. Before each application, decoct Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao) in water with a small amount of salt to make a wash. Cleanse the sore with the warm solution, dry it, and then apply the powder.
Formula for treating pediatric sores and scabies/tinea:
Ingredients: Sophorae Flavescentis Radix (Kushen, 3 liang, sliced/crushed).
Preparation and Administration: Pulverize the ingredient through a sieve. Mix with honey and apply topically.
Formula for treating pediatric dry/damp sores and scabies/tinea:
Ingredients: Meliae Cortex (Lian Gen Pi), Allii Cepae Bulbus (Cong Bai).
Preparation and Administration: Crush the melia bark and green onion white into a paste. Mix with lard and apply topically.
Formula for treating chronic pediatric sores and scabies with yellow exudate:
Ingredients: Rheum Palmatum Radix et Rhizoma Root (Yangti Cao Gen).
Preparation and Administration: Crush the root thoroughly, mix with white honey, extract the juice, and apply topically.
Formula for treating pediatric sores:
Ingredients: Persicae Folium (Tao Ye).
Preparation and Administration: Crush the peach leaves thoroughly, mix with vinegar, and apply as a poultice.
