桂心（一分） 青羊粪（一分炒令转色）
上件药。同细研为散。取一字。以绵裹塞耳中。瘥。
治小儿 耳。恒出脓水。久不止。花胭脂散方。
花胭脂 白龙骨 白矾灰 白石脂（以上各半两）
上件药。都研如粉。用枣瓤和丸。如枣核大。以绵裹一丸。内耳中。日三换之。
又方。
黄连（三分去须） 龙骨〔三合（分）〕 乌贼鱼骨（半两）
上件药。捣细罗为散。每取少许。以绵裹内于耳中。日三四度易之。
治小儿 耳。有脓血。疼痛不止。白矾灰散方。
白矾灰 黄柏（锉） 乌贼鱼骨 龙骨（以上各半两）
上件药。捣细罗为散。以绵缠柳杖。展去脓血尽。干糁药末于耳内。日二三用之。
治小儿 耳。汁出。外边生恶疮。息肉。宜用雄黄散方。
雄黄（半两细研） 黄芩末（一分） 曾青（一分细研）
上件药。都细研令匀。以绵裹豇豆大。塞耳中。日再换之。

上件药。捣罗为末。满填耳孔中。注一两度瘥。

上用生姜汁滴耳中。神验。
治小儿 耳。密陀僧散方。
密陀僧 白矾灰 夜明沙（微炒各一分）
上件药。都研令细。用少许干贴。日三上用之。
又方。
上以桑树上毒蜂房。炙黄。捣罗为散。空腹。以温酒调下半钱。大人服二钱。

上以陈橘皮。烧为灰。细研。取少许。绵裹塞耳中。
又方。
上取虫食荆子中白粉。以麻油调。滴于耳中。日再用。
又方。
上以硫黄末粉耳中。日一夜一即瘥。

上以青羊粪。曝干。以绵裹塞耳中。

上研韭汁点之。日二三度治之。

上取鲞鱼枕。烧为灰。细研如粉。每用一字。内在耳中。日二上用。

上取野狼牙草。捣罗为末。以轻疏生绢。裹塞耳中。

上以杏仁烂研为膏。以乱发裹塞耳中。日三易之。

上取釜下墨。绵裹塞耳中瘥。
小儿耳疮，是指疮疡生于双耳部位，时好时坏、反复发作，有时伴有脓液流出。这种情况是由于风湿之邪搏结于气血所致。民间也称之为“耳疳”。
治疗小儿耳疮，以及头疮、口角处的肥疮（黄水疮）、蜗疮（旋耳疮），都适宜使用白矾散方。
白矾（一两，烧成灰） 蛇床子（一两）
将上述药物一同细细研磨成散剂。干燥状态下撒在疮面上，立即见效。
治疗小儿耳内生疮，有液体流出的方子。

将上述药物一同研细。少量地撒入耳中。
治疗小儿因掏挖损伤耳朵，导致耳内有疮，液体流出不止的方子。
取胡桃，捣碎果肉取油，滴入耳内，即可止血止液。
又一方。
取肉案上的污垢，敷在患处，效果良好。
又一方。
将马骨灰烧制后，细细研磨敷用。
耳朵是诸条经脉汇聚之处，也是肾气通达的部位。小儿肾脏精气旺盛但易生热，热气上冲至耳部，导致津液壅滞凝结，从而产生耳疳。
治疗小儿耳疳，液体流出不止，使用白矾散方。
白矾灰（半两） 龙骨末（半两） 黄丹（半两，微炒） 麝香（一分）
将上述药物一同研细。先用棉签棒清理出耳内的脓水，取药散半字量，分为两份，撒入耳内，每日三次使用。
治疗小儿耳疳日久不愈，使用黄连散方。
黄连（去须） 白蔹 赤石脂 龙骨 乌贼鱼骨（以上各半两）
将上述药物捣碎并过细筛成为散剂。用棉花包裹如枣核大小，塞入耳中，若变湿则更换新的。
又一方。
桂心（一分） 青羊粪（一分，炒至变色）
将上述药物一同细细研磨成散剂。取一字量，用棉花包裹塞入耳中，病可痊愈。
治疗小儿耳疳，经常流出脓水，久治不愈，使用花胭脂散方。
花胭脂 白龙骨 白矾灰 白石脂（以上各半两）
将上述药物全部研磨得像粉末一样细腻。用枣瓤调和制成丸剂，如枣核大小。用棉花包裹一丸，放入耳中，每日更换三次。
又一方。
黄连（三分，去须） 龙骨（三分） 乌贼鱼骨（半两）
将上述药物捣碎过细筛成为散剂。每次取少许，用棉花包裹放入耳中，每日三四次更换。
治疗小儿耳疳，有脓血，疼痛不止，使用白矾灰散方。
白矾灰 黄柏（锉碎） 乌贼鱼骨 龙骨（以上各半两）
将上述药物捣碎过细筛成为散剂。用棉花缠绕柳枝棍，彻底清除脓血后，将干燥的药末撒入耳内，每日二至三次使用。
治疗小儿耳疳，液体流出，外部生恶疮、息肉，适宜使用雄黄散方。
雄黄（半两，细研） 黄芩末（一分） 曾青（一分，细研）
将上述药物全部细细研磨均匀。用棉花包裹如豇豆大小，塞入耳中，每日更换两次。
治疗小儿耳疳流出脓水，使用黄矾散方。
黄矾（半两） 乌贼鱼骨（一分） 黄连（一分，去须）
将上述药物捣碎过筛成为末。用棉花包裹如枣核大小，塞入耳中，每日更换三次。
又一方。
白矾灰（半两） 金箔（七片） 花胭脂（半两）
将上述药物一同研磨成末。每日三四次，取少许撒入耳中。
治疗小儿通耳（耳道通畅但流脓），使用白麻皮散方。
白麻皮（一两） 花胭脂（半两）
将上述药物捣碎过筛成为末。填满耳孔，注入一两度即可痊愈。

用生姜汁滴入耳中，神效。
治疗小儿耳疳，使用密陀僧散方。
密陀僧 白矾灰 夜明沙（微炒，各一分）
将上述药物全部研细。取少许干贴患处，每日三次使用。
又一方。
取桑树上的毒蜂房，烤黄后捣碎过筛成为散剂。空腹时，用温酒调服半钱，成人服用二钱。
又一方。
取陈橘皮，烧成灰，细细研磨。取少许，用棉花包裹塞入耳中。
又一方。
取被虫子啃食的荆子中的白色粉末，用麻油调和，滴入耳中，每日两次。
又一方。
取韭菜汁点涂患处，每日二至三次治疗。

取鲞鱼枕（鱼耳石），烧成灰，细细研磨如粉。每次取一字量，放入耳中，每日两次使用。
又一方。
取野狼牙草，捣碎过筛成为末，用轻薄的生绢包裹塞入耳中。
又一方。
取锅底墨（烟炱），用棉花包裹塞入耳中，病可痊愈。
Auricular sores in children refer to lesions occurring in both ears, characterized by intermittent healing and recurrence, sometimes accompanied by purulent discharge. This condition arises from the binding of wind-damp pathogens with blood and qi. It is also commonly referred to as "Er Gan" (auricular carbuncle).
To treat auricular sores in children, as well as head sores, fatty sores at the corners of the mouth (Huang Shui Chuang / impetigo), and蜗疮 (Wu Chuang / periauricular eczema), the Bai Fan San (White Alum Powder) formula is suitable.
Bai Fan (White Alum, *Alumen*, 1 liang, calcined to ash) She Chuang Zi (Cnidium Fruit, *Cnidii Fructus*, 1 liang)
Grind the above ingredients together into a fine powder. Apply dry powder directly onto the sores for immediate effect.
Formula for treating internal ear sores in children with fluid discharge.
Bai Fan Hui (White Alum Ash, 1 fen) She Xiang (Musk, *Moschus*, 1 zi)
Grind the above ingredients together until fine. Sprinkle a small amount into the ear canal.
Formula for treating ear sores and continuous discharge caused by trauma from scratching in children.
Take walnuts, crush the flesh to extract oil, and drip it into the ear to stop the discharge.

Apply dirt from meat-cutting boards to the affected area; this is effective.

Calcinate horse bone ash, grind finely, and apply topically.

Stir-fry the white part of chicken manure until yellow, grind into powder, and apply; this yields good results.
The ears are the gathering point of all meridians and the pathway through which Kidney Qi communicates. In children, whose Kidney essence is abundant but prone to heat, rising heat attacks the ears, causing fluids to stagnate and coagulate, thereby generating Er Gan (auricular carbuncle).
Bai Fan San (White Alum Powder) for treating Er Gan in children with continuous fluid discharge.
Bai Fan Hui (White Alum Ash, 0.5 liang) Long Gu (Fossilized Bones, *Draconis Os*, powdered, 0.5 liang) Huang Dan (Red Lead, *Lithargyri Massica*, 0.5 liang, lightly stir-fried) She Xiang (Musk, *Moschus*, 1 fen)
Grind the above ingredients together until fine. First, use a cotton swab to clear pus and water from the ear canal. Take half a "zi" dose of the powder, divide it into two portions, and sprinkle into the ear. Use three times daily.
Huang Lian San (Coptis Powder) for treating chronic Er Gan in children that does not heal.
Huang Lian (Coptis Rhizome, *Coptidis Rhizoma*, de-stemmed) Bai Lian (Akebia Root Bark, *Akebiae Radix*) Chi Shi Zhi (Red Halloysite, *Halloysit Rubrum* or *Kaolinitis Rubrum*) Long Gu (Fossilized Bones, *Draconis Os*) Ou Mei Yu Gu (Cuttlefish Bone, *Sepiae Endoconcha*, all 0.5 liang each)
Pulverize the above ingredients and sieve them into a fine powder. Wrap the powder in cotton to the size of a jujube pit and insert it into the ear. Replace if it becomes damp.

Gui Xin (Cinnamon Twig Heart, *Cinnamomi Ramulus Cor*) 1 fen Qing Yang Fen (Green Goat Manure, 1 fen, stir-fried until color changes)
Grind the above ingredients together into a fine powder. Take one "zi" dose, wrap in cotton, and insert into the ear. The disease will resolve.
Hua Yan Zhi San (Flower Rouge Powder) for treating Er Gan in children with constant purulent discharge that persists for a long time.
Hua Yan Zhi (Flower Rouge, *Sinopis*) Bai Long Gu (White Fossilized Bones, *Draconis Os*) Bai Fan Hui (White Alum Ash, *Alumen Calcination*) Bai Shi Zhi (White Halloysite, *Halloysitum Album*, all 0.5 liang each)
Grind all ingredients into a fine powder. Mix with jujube pulp to form pills the size of a jujube pit. Wrap one pill in cotton and insert into the ear. Change three times daily.

Huang Lian (Coptis Rhizome, *Coptidis Rhizoma*, 3 fen, de-stemmed) Long Gu (Fossilized Bones, *Draconis Os*, 3 fen) Ou Mei Yu Gu (Cuttlefish Bone, *Sepiae Endoconcha*, 0.5 liang)
Pulverize and sieve the above ingredients. Take a small amount, wrap in cotton, and insert into the ear. Change three to four times daily.
Bai Fan Hui San (White Alum Ash Powder) for treating Er Gan in children with purulent blood and unceasing pain.
Bai Fan Hui (White Alum Ash) Huang Bo (Phellodendron Bark, *Phellodendri Chinensis Cortex*, crushed) Ou Mei Yu Gu (Cuttlefish Bone, *Sepiae Endoconcha*) Long Gu (Fossilized Bones, *Draconis Os*, all 0.5 liang each)
Pulverize and sieve the above ingredients. Wrap cotton around a willow twig stick to thoroughly remove pus and blood. Then sprinkle the dry powder into the ear. Use two to three times daily.
Xiong Huang San (Realgar Powder) for treating Er Gan in children with fluid discharge, external malignant sores, and polyps.
Xiong Huang (Realgar, *Realgar*, 0.5 liang, finely ground) Huang Qin Mo (Scutellaria Powder, *Scutellariae Radix*, 1 fen) Zeng Qing (Chalcanthite, *Chalcanthi Crystallisatum*, 1 fen, finely ground)
Grind all ingredients uniformly. Wrap in cotton to the size of a cowpea and insert into the ear. Change twice daily.
Huang Fan San (Yellow Alum Powder) for treating Er Gan in children with purulent discharge.
Huang Fan (Yellow Alum, *Melanteritum* or similar alum variant, 0.5 liang) Ou Mei Yu Gu (Cuttlefish Bone, *Sepiae Endoconcha*, 1 fen) Huang Lian (Coptis Rhizome, *Coptidis Rhizoma*, 1 fen, de-stemmed)
Pulverize and sieve into powder. Wrap in cotton to the size of a jujube pit and insert into the ear. Change three times daily.

Bai Fan Hui (White Alum Ash, 0.5 liang) Jin Po (Gold Leaf, *Aurum Folium*, 7 pieces) Hua Yan Zhi (Flower Rouge, *Sinopis*, 0.5 liang)
Grind together into powder. Sprinkle a small amount into the ear three to four times daily.
Bai Ma Pi San (White Hemp Bark Powder) for treating Tong Er (open ear canal with discharge) in children.
Bai Ma Pi (White Hemp Bark, *Cannabis Sativae Cortex*, 1 liang) Hua Yan Zhi (Flower Rouge, *Sinopis*, 0.5 liang)
Pulverize and sieve into powder. Fill the ear canal completely. Injecting or applying once or twice leads to recovery.

Drip fresh ginger juice into the ear; this is miraculous.
Mi Tuo Seng San (Lead Monoxide Powder) for treating Er Gan in children.
Mi Tuo Seng (Lead Monoxide, *Lithargyri Pulvis*) Bai Fan Hui (White Alum Ash) Ye Ming Sha (Bat Guano, *Vespertilionis Faeces*, lightly stir-fried, all 1 fen each)
Grind all ingredients finely. Apply a small amount dry to the area. Use three times daily.

Take venomous bee nests from mulberry trees, roast until yellow, pulverize, and sieve. Half a qian dose taken with warm wine on an empty stomach (adults take 2 qian).

Burn aged tangerine peel to ash, grind finely. Take a small amount, wrap in cotton, and insert into the ear.

Collect the white powder found inside thorn apple seeds eaten by insects. Mix with sesame oil and drip into the ear. Use twice daily.
